A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

God doesn’t merely patch what is broken, He replaces our stony hearts with hearts of flesh. This is an inner transformation: the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in us, reshaping desires so we want what God commands. That change makes obedience possible and joyful, not forced. Practically, it means surrendering control, inviting the Spirit daily, and trusting God to produce the fruit of a life that keeps His ways.
Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, thank You and praise You for Your promise to give a new heart and put Your Spirit within me. Change my hardness into tenderness, shape my desires to love and obey You, and lead my steps in Your statutes. Fill me now with Your Spirit so I may live in Your truth and reflect Your life. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty precious Name Jesus Amen.
