“God Is My Rock”

He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
– Psalms 62:6-8

God alone is your rock, your salvation, your steady place. These verses remind you that God is not simply a refuge. He is your refuge. Your defense isn’t something you have to build, maintain, or prove. It is Someone you can lean into. The psalm invites you to pour out your heart, not in fear or performance, but in trust. Nothing you bring to Him is too heavy, too messy, or too tender. When everything around you shift, He does not. When your strength feels thin, His does not. When your heart needs a safe place, He already is one. These verses call you to rest in the truth that God Himself is your stability. You don’t have to hold yourself together, He holds you. Your salvation, your honor, your strength, your shelter all of it is anchored in Him. Trust becomes lighter when you remember who you’re trusting: the unshakable Rock who invites you to pour out your heart without hesitation. He doesn’t just protect you; He welcomes you. He doesn’t just save you; He steadies you. And in every season, He remains enough.

Father God, You are my rock and my refuge. Steady my heart today in Your strength. Teach me to trust You in every moment and to pour out my heart freely before You. Thank You for being my salvation, my defense, and my safe place. Hold me close and guide me gently. Love You. thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
