Have a nice day! đꙂ

Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
– Proverbs 1:31-33

These verses set before us two roads: the road of self‑reliance that ends in ruin and the road of listening that leads to safety. The “fruit of your own way” is simply the outcome of choices made without wisdom; success without humility becomes a snare. Wisdom in Proverbs speaks as a guide, hearing it is not passive information but a life‑saving posture. When a decision feels driven by impulse, pride, or the lure of quick gain, pause and ask whether it serves long‑term good. Invite a trusted friend or mentor to speak into important choices; refusing correction is how the simple are led astray. If prosperity tempts carelessness, build accountability and generosity into your life so success strengthens rather than destroys you. Try a short morning meditation, a weekly check‑in with someone you trust, and keep a simple journal of decisions and outcomes.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, give me ears to hear Your wisdom, humility to accept correction, and courage to follow Your way. Keep me from the snares of my own schemes and let the fruit of Your counsel bring peace and safety. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.
