Have a nice day! ðŸ™‚

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
– Hebrews 4:10-12

These verses remind us that true rest comes from God. Trusting in Christ means letting go of our own efforts to earn His favor and resting in what Jesus has already accomplished. This rest isn’t laziness or doing nothing, it’s a deep confidence that God is faithful and in control. Right after talking about rest, God’s Word urges us to seek Him diligently. Verse 12 says the Word of God is alive, powerful, and able to expose the deepest thoughts and motives of our hearts. It brings comfort when we’re weary, correction when we wander, and guidance when we’re uncertain. For caregivers, parents, grandparents, or anyone carrying heavy burdens, there’s a beautiful balance here: resting in God’s grace while staying open to His truth. His Word shines light into every dark place and transforms us from the inside out.

Dear Heavenly Father God, thank You and praise You for the rest that comes through trusting in Jesus. Help me stop striving in my own strength and rest in Your finished work. Let Your living Word search my heart, correct my path, and draw me closer to You each day. Fill me with Your peace, strength, and wisdom. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
