Peter is telling us to stay under God’s authority and trust His care. When we humble ourselves under His mighty hand, we acknowledge that God is above us, wiser than us, and able to do what we cannot. Instead of carrying all our worries alone, we give them to Him because He cares for us personally. God never asks us to carry life’s heavy loads by ourselves. He calls us to bow before Him in humility and then cast every care upon Him. The same mighty hand that rules over all things is the hand that lovingly holds His children. When we trust His promises, we can live with peace instead of fear.
Dear Lord Jesus, help me stay humbly under Your authority and trust Your promises every day. I give You my worries, fears, and burdens because You care for me. Thank You and praise You for Your mighty hand that guides, protects, and sustains me. Love You, give You all the honor and glory in Your mighty Precious Name Amen.
