Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
James 2:17-18

These verses remind us “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” Faith without works is lifeless. True faith is not just belief in God’s truth, but a living, active trust that produces good deeds. Like roots and branches, faith and work are inseparable. When we love God, we naturally seek to serve Him and others. Let our actions, kindness, generosity, justice, be the visible proof of our faith.
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You and praise You for the truth in these verses. Help me to live out a faith that is alive and active, producing works that honor You. Teach me to see opportunities to serve, to love, and to stand for what is right. May my faith never be a dead profession, but a living expression of Your love. Love You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
