Faith is what makes real the things we hope for. It is proof of what we cannot see. God was pleased with the people who lived a long time ago because they had faith like this. Faith helps us understand that God created the whole world by his command. This means that the things we see were made by something that cannot be seen.
Hebrews 11:1-3 ERV:
Faith is confident assurance and quiet conviction. It trusts what we cannot yet see and rests in the reality God has promised. When Scripture says faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen, it invites us to live with certainty about God’s character even when circumstances are unclear. By faith we understand that the world was framed by God’s word, our hope and understanding begin not with what we can prove but with who God is and what He has already done.
Choose one small step today that expresses trust, speak a truth of God aloud, act in kindness despite fear, or wait patiently for His timing.
Dear Lord Jesus, strengthen my faith. Help me to trust Your promises when I cannot see the outcome. Give me the quiet assurance to hope without wavering and the courage to live as if Your unseen work is already true. Teach me to rely on Your Word and to walk in obedience, believing You are at work even now. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
