That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
– 1 Peter 1:7-8

Trials do not waste us; they refine our faith like fire refines gold, removing dross so what remains will bring praise, honor, and glory when Jesus appears. Even though we have not seen him, our love and trust in Christ turn suffering into a source of deep, unspeakable joy. When hardship comes, remember it is working a greater testimony in you, hold fast, believe, and let God finish his good work. Plus, you are gaining knowledge to pray, help and worship with others being Jesus to them so they know they are not alone.
Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, strengthen and refine my faith through every trial; help me to trust You when I cannot see the way. Fill me with joy unspeakable and the peace that comes from knowing my testing produces glory for You. Use my life to praise You now and at Your appearing. Let my experiences be able to encourage and bless others by going the same way. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
