Have a nice day! πŸ™‚

And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
– Galatians 5:24-26

Paul reminds believers that those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires, and so we are called to live by the Spirit, not to become conceited, provoke one another, or be jealous. Crucifying the flesh is not a one-time act of willpower but a daily posture of dependence on Jesus. When Paul says we have crucified the flesh, he points to a decisive break with the patterns that once ruled us. That break is effective because Christ’s life now shapes ours through the Spirit. Instead of letting old impulses, pride, envy, rivalry, drive our words and choices, we invite the Spirit to reorder our hearts. Living by the Spirit means choosing humility over boasting, gentleness over provocation, and unity over jealousy. Each small choice to yield, an apology offered, a generous word, a quiet act of service, testifies that the cross has changed us. Let today be a day of small, Spirit-led crucifixions: refuse the impulse to compare, refuse the urge to retaliate, and choose the fruit the Spirit produces in you.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, thank You and praise You for the cross that broke the power of my old self. Fill me with Your Spirit so I can say no to pride, envy, and provocation. Give me humility to serve, patience to listen, and love to build others up. Help me live each moment from the life You give, not from my old desires. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
