Remember how you lived before. You did wrong things and bad things. As a result, you were dead in your spirits. You lived in a bad way, like the people who belong to this world. You were obeying Satan, who rules the powerful spirits in the air. Those spirits are working now in everyone who refuses to obey God. At one time, all of us lived like those people. We did whatever bad things our bodies wanted to do. If our thoughts made us want to do something, we did it. Because we were like that, God was angry with us. He should have punished us, just like everyone else. Ephesians 2:1-3 EASY
Mose’s said to the people, ‘Remember carefully the message that I have spoken to you today. You must teach these words to your children. They must learn to obey all the words of God’s Law. These are not just useless words. This is a message that gives life! If you obey it, you will live for many years in the land on the other side of the Jordan River. That is the land that will be your new home.’ Deuteronomy 32:46-47 EASY
God is very powerful because he is God. He has used that power to help us. He has given us everything that we need to live in a good way. We can do things that make God happy. This is possible because now we know him. God has chosen us to be his people because he is very great and very good. Because of this, God has promised that he will do very great and valuable things for us. As a result, you can do what is right, like God does. The people who belong to this world want to do bad things. Those bad things make them become worse and worse. But God gives you the power to be free from all that.
Open my eyes wide! Then I will see great things in your Law. I live like a stranger here on the earth. Please do not hide your commands from me. I really want to obey your rules all the time. I want that more than anything else.
If anyone wants to praise me, they should say “thank you” to me as their offering. If anyone obeys my commands, I will show them my power to save people.’
Forgiveness, salvation, atonement, perception, all are one. They are the one beginning, with the end to lead to Oneness far beyond themselves. True perception is the means by which the world is saved from sin, for sin does not exist. And it is this that true perception sees. The world stands like a block before Christ’s face. But true perception looks on it as nothing more than a fragile veil, so easily dispelled that it can last no longer than an instant. Where destruction was perceived the face of Christ appears, the worlds forgotten in a instant. Forgiveness looks past all bodies. This is its holiness. From sin comes guilt as surely as forgiveness takes all guilt away. Only the body makes the world seem real. For being separate the body is just a shell. Forgiveness proves it is impossible because it sees it not. What you then will overlook will not be understandable to you, just as its presence once had been your certainty, God’s knowledge, changeless, certain, pure and wholly understandable, enters its kingdom. Here God leans down to lift you up to him, out of illusions into holiness; out of the world and to eternity; out of all fear and given back to love.
Now my friends, I want to say this to you. Fill your minds with thoughts about good things. Think about things that are true, clean, right and lovely. Always think about things which people know are very good. Philippians 4:8 EASY
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16
There is no death because Jesus Christ is the Lord. Nothing you can do can change Eternal Love. Forget your dreams of sin and guilt, and come with me instead to share the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And bring with you all those whom He has sent to you as his gifts of eternal Love to care for as I care for you.
