Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today. Help them not to doubt You. Let them see You and stay close to You in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
In one of Moses’ final speeches, he gave this messianic prophecy: It reads in Deuteronomy 18:15: The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.). The prophet whom Moses foretells bears these qualities: He will be raised up by God, He will come from among the Israelites, He will be like Moses, and He will be worthy of being heard and obeyed. The prophet who fulfills these words is Jesus Christ, the prophet like Moses. Staying close to God.
“Only God Owns, No Human Owns Anything”
It reads in Leviticus 27:28 “‘But nothing that a person owns and devotes to the LORD, whether a human being or an animal or family land, may be sold or redeemed; everything so devoted is most holy to the LORD.
So, no man or woman owns another person. All the choices each person makes should be confided in the Lord. Example: I had this man tell me I couldn’t talk to his girlfriend on her messengering or anything about God to her. He told me to stop it! On her messenger not his. Ok so I won’t messenger her again. But he doesn’t know I will see her at church. God gave me a friend. I have to just pray for her and move on. This won’t stop me from talking to her. She is God’s daughter. She is my friend. She is a gift to this man, but he doesn’t see her as a gift. He sees her as he owns her. I say God see’s and I pray that God will work on that man’s heart mind and soul. I pray that God’s light will be strong in my friend’s life so this man will see God and His goodness in my friend. I am believing that this man sees my friend as a total awesome blessing of God’s love to him. That this man will cherish and love my friend as God does. Ask God to guide and taken care of His creation. It reads in John 16:33, ~ “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” So, nothing gets past God. I know I talked about this. I just wanted you to see how God sees it all. God protects and cares for all that He owns and loves unconditionally. Nothing gets past God. He will take a heart of stone and give it a heart of flesh to see others as God see’s us.
God owns it all because he is the creator. The fact that God owns everything, and I own nothing helps me. See everything (possessions, people, time, intellect, money) as a tool for his glory. By freeing me from the bondage of my self-made prisons (prisons that are designed to protect everything that is “mine.”. God gifts us stuff and others to just take care of. We don’t own any person. We don’t even own ourselves. Our breathing and very being belongs to the Lord. We are to take very good care of what God gifts us and we shall be blessed by Him. Everything in life still belongs to God. As Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it.”. To say that everything belongs to God is not something most people argue about. Yet, it is something we often forget or ignore. One way to help remember that everything belongs to God is to keep Him in your heart and not ignore Him. Thank Him always and remember He is our gift, Abba Father, Friend and He will never leave us at all.
You are not your own. It reads in 1 Corinthians 6:13, ~ “Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
The truth is that God owns everything in this world. We may think that our stuff belongs to us, but God says clearly in His word that it really belongs to him. Here are some examples: It reads in Psalm 24:1 – “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” If my house belongs to God, I can use it to host a Group so people can connect and grow in their relationships with Jesus. If God owns my wallet, I can use my money to provide for people in need and build His church (2 Corinthians 9:10-13, ~ Now he that ministers seed to the Sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness, being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God. For the administration of this service not only supplies the want of the saints but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;) Everything belongs to God, and we get to share in what belongs to Him. I have to add this.
God created marriage as a loyal partnership between one man and one woman. Marriage is the firmest foundation for building a family. God designed sexual expression to help married couples build intimacy. So, if marriage is not of man and woman. Then any other form of marriage is and abomination of the Lord. God’s Word is very clear that a marriage is to be an exclusive union of one man and one woman, never to be two men or two women as this kind of union stands in opposition to God’s pattern for marriage and cannot fulfill the commandment to populate the earth with offspring as a blood born family of God. If you turn from your sin God does forgive those who turn from their wicked way. It reads in 1 Corinthians 2:14, ~ The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. I am going to say this again! The body cannot heal the mind! The mind can heal the body. So, whatever choice you make it is either of God or without God in your life. We chose. God gave us this right. So, we cannot take this right from God. It reads in John 3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. GOD GAVE!!!
(Everything belongs to him. To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it. Deuteronomy 10:14)
