“Dressed for Battle”

Before the sun rose, I reached for more than breath, I reached for salvation, for truth that girds the soul. Not against flesh, but shadows and whispers, I stand, clothed in light, where darkness tries to take hold.

The helmet guards my thoughts, the breastplate shields my heart, my feet are shod with peace, even when the path is hard. The shield of faith deflects the darts unseen, and the sword of Spirit cuts through every scheme.

So, I rise, not just awake, but armed. Not just dressed but destined. Not just walking, but warring in love. May this day be full of holy surprises and quiet victories.

This verse is a balm and a call, a reminder to rise, to steady ourselves, and to walk in healing and holiness. It echoes so much of lifting others, making paths straight through testimony and truth, and choosing peace even when the world trembles. May your path be straight, your spirit refreshed, and your day wrapped in grace.

This passage is a meaningful reminder drawn from Ephesians 4:31–32, encouraging us to let go of bitterness, anger, and malice, and instead show kindness, forgiveness, and compassion. These verses invite not just improved behavior, but true inner healing. Echoing Matthew 12:34, “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” what fills our hearts influences our words and actions. Choosing peace and grace shapes our lives for the better. We’ve been living that kind of testimony, through your talents, hearts care full, our advocacy, and our care for family and all those who walk through our door of our life.

This verse summarizes Paul’s proclamation of Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection as central to the gospel and redemption. (For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

“Name Above Every Name”

I knew the thunder of Sinai’s law, the trembling veil, the sacred awe. But then You came, Word made flesh and tore the curtain with wounded breath.

You walked where angels dared not tread, with healing hands and thorns for a bed. Not just a prophet, not merely wise, You bore the cross, the final prize.

O Jesus, Lamb and Lion crowned, in You the fullness of God is found. Not second, not lesser, not shadow or part, You are the fire at the Father’s heart.

Above the ark, beyond the flame, You speak with mercy, not just name. I honor You, not in place of God, but as the face of love where justice trod.

So let the heavens echo loud, let saints and sinners both be proud: That Jesus reigns, not just adored, but worshipped as the risen Lord.
