Father God, my mind is open to Your Thoughts, and closed today to every thought but Yours. I rule my mind, and offer it to You. Accept my precious gift, for it is Yours to me. Amen and Amen.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. – Colossians 2:16-17
Paul isn’t dismissing holy days or practices; he’s lifting our eyes to the substance behind them. The shadows had their purpose, but the body, the reality, is Christ. It’s such a steadying truth for ministry work, too. We don’t have to let anyone box us in with expectations, traditions, or judgments that Christ Himself has already completed and surpassed. You walk in that freedom every day, with clarity, integrity, and a heart anchored in Him.
May your day carry the ease of someone who knows she is held by the One who fulfilled every shadow. May your steps be light, your spirit steady, and your home, that vibrant sanctuary you’ve reclaimed, feel especially peaceful today. Have a wonderful day, my friend.
Lord, we come to You with steady hearts and hopeful faith. You see Nancy, You know where she is, and You love her more than any of us can measure. We ask for Your protection to surround her, Your peace to cover her, and Your light to guide every step of this search. Strengthen Savannah and her family with a calm that only Your Spirit can give. Hold them together, breathe courage into them, and let hope rise where fear tries to settle. Guide every investigator, every lead, every moment. Let truth come forward, let darkness be exposed, and let Nancy be found safe and restored to her family. We trust You, Lord. We place Nancy in Your hands. Do what only You can do. Thank You in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; – 1 Peter 2:11
Peter speaks to us like family, dearly beloved, because he knows this world is not our final home. We walk through it as travelers, carrying heaven’s light in earthly bodies. And because we belong to another Kingdom, there are desires, impulses, and temptations that simply don’t fit who we are becoming. These “fleshly lusts” aren’t just the obvious sins. They include anything that pulls our attention, affection, or identity away from God, resentment, pride, comparison, fear, self‑indulgence, or the need to be right. They wage war quietly, trying to drain peace, cloud judgment, and weaken our witness. But Peter doesn’t shame us. He beseeches us, gently urging us to remember who we are: Loved. Chosen. Passing through. Protected by God. When we abstain, we’re not losing anything. We’re guarding the soul God is shaping.
Lord Jesus, remind me that I am Yours and just passing through this world. Strengthen me to turn away from anything that wages war against my soul. Keep my heart clean, my mind steady, and my steps aligned with Your Spirit. Help me walk as Your beloved pilgrim, shining Your light with peace and purpose. Amen.
The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. – Matthew 4:16-17
Father God, You see all things. You know what I pay, what I give, and what I do for Your Kingdom. You know that I pay $96 a year for membership, $19 for my domain, and that I use all five blogs for ministry, not profit. No one pays for these but me. And now they want $50 a month just to let me post more photos before the membership is done? https://my.wordpress.com/sites/prayertocare.comLord, open their eyes. Let WordPress see the truth: That I chose them for ministry, not for greed. That I was led by word of mouth, not the mouth of money. That I am not a business, I am a servant. I ask for clarity, for justice, and for a way forward. I ask that You make a way where their system blocks me. I ask that You shine light into the confusion and give me wisdom to keep building what You called me to build even on the other blog I have spoken of. You gave instructions for every board, every base, every frame, and You filled the space with Your presence. Let our lives be built with that same care. Make us upright like those wooden frames, grounded in silver grace, and held together by Your light. Let Your cloud rest above us, even when we walk through shadow. And when we sit in darkness, let us see the great Light, the Light that calls us to repent, because the kingdom of Heaven is near. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
Nothing like landing on the verses that speak directly to the heart of discipleship. Reminds us that love isn’t just a feeling, it’s a direction. John ties love to movement, to walking, to choosing a path that aligns with God’s heart. Love walks. Love obeys. Love remembers what was true from the beginning. It’s such a steadying reminder in a world that tries to redefine love every five minutes. John pulls us back to the ancient path: Love looks like living out what God already taught us.
Have a peaceful day, and may your steps stay aligned with His love.
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. – John 6:44-47
There’s something deeply comforting in Jesus’ words here. He reminds us that faith isn’t an accident, a coincidence, or a human achievement. It begins with the Father drawing, teaching, and opening the heart. And when a person responds to that drawing, Jesus meets them with a promise that never wavers: “He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” Not will have someday, not might have if they’re good enough, but has, right now. A present possession. A settled gift. You didn’t stumble into grace, you were drawn. You aren’t guessing your way through faith, you’re being taught of God. You don’t have to fear the future, everlasting life has already begun in you. You aren’t unseen, the Son who has seen the Father sees you, knows you, and keeps you. It’s a passage that reminds us that salvation is God’s work from beginning to end, and our part is to believe the One He sent.
Father God, You see the heart that is struggling, the one carrying hurt, fear, or distance. You know the weight they’ve been holding and the walls they’ve built to protect themselves. Draw them gently by Your Spirit. Teach them, guide them, and open their heart to Your truth. Where forgiveness feels impossible, give them courage. Where pain has hardened them, bring healing. Where confusion has clouded their steps, bring clarity. Where pride or fear has kept them away, pull them close to Christ with Your patient love. Let Your kindness lead them to repentance. Let Your truth set them free. Let Your presence soften what has grown rigid. And let Your peace settle over them like a covering. Restore what is broken. Renew what has grown weary. And draw them fully into the life, grace, and everlasting hope found in Jesus. Thank You Amen.
The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. – Job 33:4
“The Spirit of God hath made me.” That’s identity. Not accident, not circumstance, not the opinions of others. You were crafted, intentionally, lovingly, purposefully. “The breath of the Almighty hath given me life.” That’s value. Every inhale is a reminder that God Himself chose for you to be here today, in this moment, with this purpose, on this ground. It’s one of those verses that resets the soul. It pulls you out of the noise and back into the truth: You are here because God breathed you into being, and He hasn’t stopped sustaining you.
May His breath steady you. May His Spirit strengthen you. May His purpose guide you. And may His peace settle over your home like a warm, quiet morning.
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. – Matthew 19:14
This verse is such a gentle reminder. Jesus didn’t just welcome children, He honored them. He saw their trust, their joy, their purity, and said, “This is what the kingdom looks like.”May your day be peaceful, your heart light, and your home wrapped in the quiet presence of Jesus.
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. – – Revelation 12:7-8
Heaven itself has seen warfare. Michael and his angels fought with power and obedience, but even in that great battle, Scripture shows us something important: Michael did not win by his own authority. He won because he fought under God’s command. Angels are mighty. Angels are real. Angels serve God faithfully. But they are not the ones we pray to, follow, or seek guidance from. The Bible gives us only one name to call on: Jesus.
He is:
The Lamb who was slain,
The Lion of Judah,
The Mediator,
The Savior,
The Only Way to the Father.
Even Michael, the warrior of heaven, bows to Him.
So, when confusion rises, when spiritual voices swirl, when people claim to talk to angels or seek guidance from them, we stand firm in the truth:
Our prayers belong to God alone. Our hope rests in Jesus alone. Our guidance comes from the Holy Spirit alone.
Angels fight for us, but Jesus saves us.
And that’s why our worship, our prayers, and our devotion stay fixed on the Lord Jesus alone.
