“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

What a beautiful promise for everyone who belongs to Christ. One day, God will personally wipe away every tear. Death, sorrow, crying, and pain will be gone forever. The troubles we carry now will become part of the former things that have passed away. When our hearts are grieving, we can hold tightly to God’s assurance: our suffering is temporary, but His love and eternal comfort will never end. His words are true and faithful.
Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, thank You and praise You for the promise that You will wipe away every tear and make all things new. When I experience sorrow or pain, help me remember that suffering will not last forever. Strengthen my faith as I wait for the beautiful future You have prepared. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
