For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

These verses remind us that God’s timing and justice are sure. While the proud and impatient may seem to prosper for a season, their place is temporary. Meekness here is not weakness but humble trust in God’s ways, those who wait on Him will inherit lasting peace and a secure future. Hold fast to patience and quiet faith; God’s reward is deeper than immediate success.
Dear Lord Jesus, give me a meek and trusting heart. Help me wait on Your timing, resist envy, and rest in the peace You promise. Make me patient and steady so I may inherit the good You have prepared. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
