But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
–Β 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
Paul uses the image of sowing and reaping to remind us that generosity produces fruit. Generosity is not measured by amount but by the heart, we give best when itβs willing and joyful, not forced. When we trust God with our resources and choose to bless others freely, we participate in a cycle of grace that returns to us in unexpected ways. Today, look for one small, practical way to give, time, attention, or a gift, and let it be an act of worship rather than obligation.
Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, shape my heart to give freely and gladly. Teach me to trust Your provision and to see every gift as an opportunity to reflect Your love. Help me to sow with faith, to give without regret, and to rejoice in the blessings You bring through generosity. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious name Amen and Amen.
