The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John’s words point to the absolute authority and life‑giving power of the Son. The Father’s giving is both an affirmation and a handing‑over: Jesus is entrusted with all that matters, authority, care, judgment, and the gift of eternal life. Belief in the Son is not merely intellectual assent; it is trusting the One who holds everything and who opens the door to life that never ends. To refuse that trust is to remain outside the life God offers, under the weight of his righteous judgment.
Lord Jesus, You hold all things in Your hand. Help me to trust You more fully, to live as one who already shares Your life, and to point others to the hope I have in You. Keep me humble before Your authority and bold in Your love. Love You, thank You, praise You and give Up all the honor and glory om Jesus Amen.
