“Just A Small Thing”

There is this neighbor she moved in the next door house about a year ago. Her dog runs our fence and our dog follows. With one command she can stop her dog from doing this running the fence thing. Our dog I guess thinks it is fun. One day I was walking our dog with a leash. Our neighbor was riding her bike while her dog followed her, The immediately her dog attacked my dog while I was holding the leash, as she just stopped and watched! Really! Then she says Blue come! Dog goes! She didn’t ask if I was alright or even care. She just kept going. So Wednesday we had the tree men come out to cut down this tall dead pine tree. Well they had the tree down and while they was cleaning up the tree. Our neighbor started screeching! Get away from my fence, among other words. So I told them they didn’t have to. Just keep doing their job. So they did. But people think they can control you with their tongue. God gave us this mind and our choice to speak right words. One thing I can say: She has a dead pine tree also that the tree guy thought was mine. I told him it’s on her side. Right next to our garage. How do you tell a neighbor like this that they have a deader pine tree than ours hanging over our garage that could do a lot of damage. Just keep praying God will open her eyes and heart.

I will pour out my spirit on all flesh’ Acts 2:17

Dear Lord, sweeten my attitudes. May my life breathe the fresh fragrance of Your Spirit in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. James 3:2-6
Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. James 1:26

Father God, when I see trouble or trouble surrounds me assist me in controling my tongue. Thank You and praise You for the wise counsel of Christian brothers and sisters and their love and caring hearts. You have placed them my life, to give me godly guidance and wise instruction. Thank You for all those who have gone on to heaven and that they was Jesus to me. May I be willing to listen to their advice. I am believing that You would confirm the guidance I receive in Your word, and through Your Holy Spirit. Use me, I pray to offer and receive wise advice to others, and to be ready and willing to respond to Your leading and guiding in every area of my life. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
A wise man holds his tongue. Only a fool blurts out everything he knows; that only leads to sorrow and trouble. Proverbs 10:14
I hope this message touch’s someone’s heart today. Have a wonderful day full of blessings.

“God The Judge of The Righteous and The Wicked”

Summary of Chapter 50: This psalm, as the former, is a psalm of instruction, not of prayer or praise; it is a psalm of reproof and admonition, in singing which we are to teach and admonish one another. In the foregoing psalm, after a general demand of attention, God by his prophet deals. Many older commentators feel that Psalm 50 was authored by the original “Asaph”.The psalm is a warning to the pilgrim of Zion to avoid hypocrisy and formalism before God. The setting of the psalm is comparable to a courtroom: God, the Judge, appears in a theophany.

Psalm Chapter 50:1-23:
A psalm of Asaph.
The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to where it sets. From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth. Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages. He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that he may judge his people: “Gather to me this consecrated people, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for he is a God of justice. “Listen, my people, and I will speak; I will testify against you, Israel: I am God, your God. I bring no charges against you concerning your sacrifices or concerning your burnt offerings, which are ever before me. I have no need of a bull from your stall or of goats from your pens, for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine. If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it. Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats? “Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High, and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” But to the wicked person, God says: “What right have you to recite my laws or take my covenant on your lips? 1You hate my instruction and cast my words behind you. When you see a thief, you join with him; you throw in your lot with adulterers. You use your mouth for evil and harness your tongue to deceit. You sit and testify against your brother and slander your own mother’s son. When you did these things and I kept silent, you thought I was exactly like you. But I now arraign you and set my accusations before you. “Consider this, you who forget God, or I will tear you to pieces, with no one to rescue you: Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me, and to the blameless I will show my salvation.”

Father God, I confess that I have not always had the right attitude of true thanks giving towards You, I want to make my life a living sacrifice that is pleasing to You and glorifies Your name. Assist, identify and correct any wrong attitudes within my heart and begin anew to worship You in spirit and truth. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“In Remembrance of Christ”

“Whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water, he shall in no wise lose his reward.” Matthew 10:42
Dear God, today I want to share the gifts of Your love and happiness with one who has less chance that I of finding them in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
“For this is what the Lord Himself has said about His Table, and I have passed it on to you before: That on the night when Judas betrayed Him, the Lord Jesus took bread, And when He had given thanks to God for it, He broke it and gave it to His disciples and said, “Take this and eat it. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.”
In the same way, He took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new agreement between God and you that has been established and set in motion by My Blood. Think of this in remembrance of Me whenever you drink it.” {Don’t have to use wine, use cranberry juice in place of it”} For every time you eat this bread and drink from this cup you are reteeing the message of the Lords death, that He has died for you. Do this until He comes again. So if anyone eats this bread and drinks from this cup of the Lord when he shouldn’t, he is guilty of sin against the body and the blood of the Lord. That is why a man or woman should examine himself or herself carefully before eating the bread and drinking from the cup.
1 Corinthians 11:23-28
Father God, thank You and praise You for the social unity of the Lord’s Supper. Thank You that we are called to remember the high price that Jesus Christ, paid for our sin’s, and for our shared remembrance, at the communion table. May I never become complacent about the enormous price that was paid for my sin, and help me to honor and glorify Your holy name, when we as one church meet together, with my brothers and sisters in Christ who are the body of Christ. Thank You and praise You for Your word and the wonderful truths it contains, and thank You Father God, for the revelation that we have received through Paul, and the other apostles. Keep me low at the cross of my Savior and my heart broken before You. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
The Lord blesses good men and woman, and condemn the wicked.
Proverbs 12:2
Have a wonderful day and enjoy this new day that God has given us. Amen!

“The Folly of Trusting in Riches”

Summary In Psalm 49: it is a sermon, and so is the next. In most of the psalms we have the “penman a person who was skilled or professionally engaged in writing by hand, typically, as a clerk, on behalf of others.” Praying or praising; in these we have him preaching; and it is our duty, in singing psalms, to teach and admonish ourselves and one another. The scope and design of this discourse is to convince the men of this world of their sin and folly in setting their hearts upon the things of this world, and so to persuade them to seek the things of a better world; as also to comfort the people of God, in reference to their own troubles and the grief that arises from the prosperity of the wicked. I. In the preface he proposes to awaken worldly people out of their security.
Psalm Chapter 49:1-20
For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
Hear this, all you peoples; listen, all who live in this world, both low and high, rich and poor alike: My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the meditation of my heart will give you understanding. I will turn my ear to a proverb; with the harp I will expound my riddle: Why should I fear when evil days come, when wicked deceivers surround me~ those who trust in their wealth and boast of their great riches? No one can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for them~ the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough~ so that they should live on forever and not see decay. For all can see that the wise die, that the foolish and the senseless also perish, leaving their wealth to others. Their tombs will remain their houses forever, their dwellings for endless generations, though they had named lands after themselves. People, despite their wealth, do not endure; they are like the beasts that perish. This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of their followers, who approve their sayings. They are like sheep and are destined to die; death will be their shepherd (but the upright will prevail over them in the morning). Their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions. But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; he will surely take me to himself. Do not be overawed when others grow rich, when the splendor of their houses increases; for they will take nothing with them when they die, their splendor will not descend with them. Though while they live they count themselves blessed— and people praise you when you prosper~ they will join those who have gone before them, who will never again see the light of life. People who have wealth but lack understanding are like the beasts that perish.

Father God, I am believing that You would develop in me a deeper and more personal thirst for You with each passing day, for it is only as I stand deeply with You that my soul can be satisfied. Only as I am refreshed by Your Living Waters of life.. may I be used as a conduit through whom Your refreshment may be poured out to other thirsty souls I love you, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“You Will Be With Christ”

So that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:10-11

Father God, I am believing that my loved ones will always see and know clearly the difference between right and wrong. That they realize all you ever wanted for them is love, goodness, to give of themselves in righteousness, truth be told and to be free of folly. Know Your Word and let go of what this world throughs at them and give it all to You in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

And give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the LORD Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our LORD Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the LORD and from the glory of his might on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-10

Some behavior that was unexceptable in the past is now allowed. Makes no sense. Society is changing values stand in opposition to God’s steady standards that are simple and full of commonsense. God’s Word is easy to understand and in the bible people had flaws and Jesus is mentioned both in the old and new testament. In order to understand this the bible is to be read. If a person can pick up a romance novel and read it through, what scares them to reading the bible all the way through. Clear knowledge is better than hearing it from someone else that doesn’t have your views in mind. I get upset when if I don’t know what is going on and someone assumes I know what is going on and they throw me in a project I have no knowledge of. I get upset and start asking questions till someone explains to me the plan. God has a plan and His instructions are clear. Amen!

The good shall never lose God’s blessings, but the wicked shall lose everything.

“The Beauty and Glory of Zion”

Psalm 48 is a praise psalm. And the praise of the psalmist is directed toward two entities. First, the psalmist praises a particular city – Mount Zion – Jerusalem. But ultimately the psalmist has his praises set on the Lord.

Psalm Chapter 48:1:14:
A song. A psalm of the Sons of Korah.
Great is the LORD, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain. Beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth, like the heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion, the city of the Great King. God is in her citadels; he has shown himself to be her fortress. When the kings joined forces, when they advanced together, they saw her and were astounded; they fled in terror. Trembling seized them there, pain like that of a woman in labor. You destroyed them like ships of Tarshish shattered by an east wind. As we have heard, so we have seen in the city of the LORD Almighty, in the city of our God: God makes her secure forever. Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love. Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand is filled with righteousness. Mount Zion rejoices, the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments. Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers, consider well her ramparts, view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation. For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.

Father God, I thank You and praise You for being with me throughout today and for Your hand of blessing on my life. Thank You and praise You, for the way that You are going to lead and guided me throughout this day in advance, and I believe Your loving grace would rest on all that I have done, I thank You. May it be to Your praise and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.
Psalm 48:14

“Believers In Christ Shall Never Perish”

In an age of distraction, singing grabs the attention of all our senses and focuses us on God. In Revelation 7:9-10, the Apostle John describes a glimpse of eternity with a great multitude of people from every tribe, peoples, and languages singing before the Lamb, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” In an age of distraction, singing grabs the attention of all our senses and focuses us on God. In Revelation 7:9-10, the Apostle John describes a glimpse of eternity with a great multitude of people from every tribe, peoples, and languages singing before the Lamb, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
In John Chapter 11:20-27 it reads: When Martha got word that Jesus was coming, she went to meet Him. But Mary stayed at home.
Martha said to Jesus, “Sir, if you had been here, my brother wouldn’t of died.
And even now it’s not to late, for I know that God will bring my brother back to life again, if You will only ask Him to.”
Jesus told her, “Your brother will come back to life again.”
“Yes,” Martha said, “when everyone else does, on Resurrection Day.”
Jesus told her, “I am the one who raises the dead and gives them lifeagain. Anyone who believes in Me, even though he dies like anyone else, shall live again.
He is given eternal life for believing in Me and shall never perish. Do you believe this Martha?”
“Yes, Master, she told Him. “I believe You are the Messiah, the Son of God, the One we have so long waited.
{Strong faith in Christ! When Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who had always been with the Father entered our world as a human, He had a purpose. This was planned from before the beginning of the world. He could see what His death and resurrection would accomplish. Having an eternal view should keep the gospel at the forefront of our mind and direct our conversations with others. This is the greatest news for a broken world desperately hungry for hope; we shouldn’t keep it to ourselves. There is a need for urgency – do others know Jesus?}

“God the King of the Earth”

Summary Of Psalm 47:To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. One of the six psalms of the divine kingdom, the psalm celebrates the Lord’s kingship over all the earth (verse 9: The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.). It begins with a universal call to praise Israel’s God (verse 1: Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy.).
“ Psalm 47 follows quite naturally after Psalm 46. Psalm 46 is focused on the security of God’s people, noting how God had delivered them from one of their great enemies. It challenged the nations to observe that deliverance and stand in awe before God.
So Sennacherib, king of Assyria, went away. He went and returned to Nineveh, where he lived. If Psalms 46-48 are from this date, then perhaps the author was the *prophet Isaiah. Many of the words in these psalms are also words that Isaiah used in his book, but not many other Bible writers used. But it does not matter who wrote these psalms.

Psalm Chapter 47:1-9:
For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the LORD Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth. He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet. He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom he loved. God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the LORD amid the sounding of trumpets. Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne. The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.

Father God, I love You, thank You and praise You that Your Word stands fast forever and ever and that Your precious promises encourage me to rest in Your love and stand strong to the Rock of my salvation. Draw near to every member of Christ’s Body and protect Your people Israel against the increasing roar of the nations. I pray for the salvation of the lost and for Your soon return, when Your name be lifted and spread throughout all the earth and the nations will KNOW that You are God of all creation. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise.

“Wife, Husband, Christ”

{Treasure Box}
For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to {succor: assistance and support in times of hardship and distress.} them that are tempted. Hebrews 2:18
“Thanks, Lord, for being willing to suffer so You could help me when I am tempted. In Jesus Precious Name Amen.”
{God made man before woman. He made woman for His purpose to grow His creation. He made man to build and glorify His creation. “My thoughts”}
There is one matter I want to remind you about: that a wife is responsible to her husband; her husband is responsible to Christ; and Christ is responsible to God.
The first man didn’t come from woman, but the first woman came out of man.
And Adam, the first man, was not made for Eve’s benefit, but Eve was made for Adam.
But remember that in God’s plan men and women need each other.
For although the first woman came out of man, all men have been born from woman ever since, and both men and women come from God their Creator.
{1 Corinthians 11:3,8-9,11-12}
The man who finds a wife finds a good thing: she is a blessing to him from the Lord. Amen!
{Proverbs 18:22}
Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church, for we are members of his body. “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. ”This is a profound mystery, but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
{Ephesians 5:22-33}
Have a wonderful day full of blessings. Thank you for reading.

“God The Refuge of His People”

Summary Psalm Chapter 46: This psalm encourages us to hope and trust in God, and his power, and providence, and gracious presence with his church in the worst of times, and directs us to give him the glory of what he has done for us and what he will do: probably it was penned upon occasion of David’s victories over the neighbouring nations (2 Samuel Chapter 8:1-18 ~And after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them: and David took Methegammah out of the hand of the Philistines. And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David’s servants, and brought gifts. David smote also Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates. And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for an hundred chariots. And when the Syrians of Damascus came to succour Hadadezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men. Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem. And from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, king David took exceeding much brass. When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had smitten all the host of Hadadezer, Then Toi sent Joram his son unto king David, to salute him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer, and smitten him: for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. And Joram brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass: Which also king David did dedicate unto the LORD, with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all nations which he subdued; Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah. And David gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men. And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David’s servants. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people. And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder; And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Seraiah was the scribe; And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief rulers.), and the rest which God gave him from all his enemies round about.
Psalm Chapter 46:1-11:
For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. According to alamoth. A song.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Come and see what the LORD has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Father God, how I really praise You and thank You, for Your Word and the truths that are within its pages. Thank You that You are my ever-present rock of refuge and my never-failing strength and stronghold. Equip me I pray to stand fast in the evil day and to trust in Your Word, though the earth be moved and though the mountains be thrown into the midst of the sea. Father God, I pray for everyone in Your world that if they don’t know You and want to know You that they will pray this prayer with me: Dear Lord Jesus, I admit I have sinned and I am a sinner! I humbly ask for Your forgiveness, I believe You came and died for my sins. I receive You into my heart and believe You are my Lord and Savior in Jesus Precious Name Amen. If you prayed this prayer: The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
