“Be Like Christ”

What Does Ephesians 2:2 Mean? in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Ephesians Chapter 2. In the first ten verses Paul presents the past, present and future of the Christian: what he was (verses 1-3); what he is (verses 4-6, 8-9); and what he will be (verses 7, 10). Within this framework he gives six aspects of salvation: it is from sin (verses 1-3); by love (verse 4); into life (verse 5); with a purpose (verses 6-7); through faith (verses 8-9); and unto good works (verse 10). Everything Paul mentions in Ephesians 2 is the gift of God to us. The gift is not faith itself, but everything else that God has done and taught and provided through Jesus Christ, and which we can benefit from when we believe in Jesus for it. First, some believe that since unregenerate people are “dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1) In other words, the idea that faith is a gift derives from the false idea that faith is somehow meritorious. After all, if faith is a work, then we must say that faith is a gift from God, for we cannot teach that humans are able to work for eternal life. But Scripture is clear about faith, that it is not a work; it is not meritorious. Faith is the opposite of works (Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:4-5). Faith does not earn, achieve, or gain good standing with God in any way. Therefore, faith does not need to be a gift from God. People are persuaded about all sorts of things, and no such persuasion is ever considered to be a good work or a meritorious action, or a gift from God. So the faith to believe in Jesus is also not a gift from God. But there is a Spiritual Gift of Faith! Some people believe and teach that faith is a gift of God is because they confuse this idea with the biblical teaching about the “spiritual gift” of faith. Even though Paul does write about the gift of faith in 1 Corinthians 12:9, this is the spiritual gift of faith, and is not the same thing as the so-called “gift of faith” which some teach God gives to people before they can believe in Jesus for eternal life. Paul is quite clear that we all have different spiritual gifts (Rom 12:6). If everyone had to receive the “gift of faith” from God in order to receive eternal life (John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. “John 5:24” -Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. ; John 6:47 – “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. Jesus set the stage for His important teaching on the Bread of Life by feeding a multitude of 5000 men, besides women and children, with 5 barley loaves and 2 small fishes. ), then this would mean that all Christians have the spiritual gift of faith, which Paul says we do not. A person has the spiritual gift of faith when they firmly persuaded of God’s power and promises to accomplish His will and purpose and to display such a confidence in Him that circumstances and obstacles do not shake that conviction. As with other spiritual gifts, the gift of faith is for the encouragement of others. Those gifted in faith express their gift through faithful prayers for others and can help others to look to God in faith when they are in doubt. Faith is a gift of the Lord’s grace to undeserving people, the outworking of God’s electing grace and the atonement of Jesus for His own. Ephesians 2:8 confirms the truth that faith is ultimately a gift of God.

Ephesians Chapter 2:1-22
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and Praise You for Your free gift of salvation. I am not worthy to receive such a gift, I thank You and praise You in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior in Whom I trust and love. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Ephesians 2:8

“The Whole Creation Invoked To Praise The Lord”

The message of Psalm 148 is simple: Everything and everyone in heaven and on earth should praise the Lord. The psalm falls into two sections: “Praise the Lord from the earth.” The psalm falls into two sections: in verses 1-6 the command is (148:1), “Praise the Lord from the heavens.” In verses 7-14, the command is (148:7), “Praise the Lord from the earth.” Both main sections follow the same outline. Psalm 148: Let Heaven and Earth Praise the Lord! If you are like me (and I suspect that most of you are), you’ve got a lot of room to grow in the daily practice of praising the Lord. I hope that our study in the Psalms has fanned the flame of your desire to become a person of praise. As a flash of lightning flames through space, and enwraps both heaven and earth in one vestment of glory, so doth the adoration of the Lord in this Psalm light up all the universe, and cause it to glow with a radiance of praise.

Alexander Maclaren wrote that Psalm 148 continues “…a line of thought which runs through Scripture from its first page to its last – namely, that, as man’s sin subjected the creatures to ‘vanity,’ so his redemption shall be their glorifying.” This call to all creation to praise Yahweh is not an empty wish. Praise the LORD from the heavens: The Psalmist considered that all heavenly beings and bodies should give praise to Yahweh. The God of Israel was not a local deity who only expected honor from Israel. He was and is God over all, and as such deserves such praise from the heights.

Psalm Chapter 148:1-14
Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass. Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: Fire, and hail; snow, and vapor; stormy wind fulfilling his word: Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars: Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. He also exalted the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.
{Prayer}
Father God, How I thank You and I praise You! I thank You and praise You for all that You have created. Praise the Lord, for You are worthy of all honor from the heavens above and to the earth beneath. I thank You and praise You for sending Jesus to be my Redeemer, and I thank You and praise You that Jesus was willing to stretch out His arms of love for me, on the Cross of Calvary. Jesus rose from the dead to eternal life. You alone are worthy of all honor and glory, for all that You are, all that You have done, and all that You have promised to do to those who love You . I praise You and thank You that the works of Your hand are established forever and Your decrees will not ever pass away. How I praise You and I thank You that I will be part of that celestial chorus to honor You in the ages to come. I may have my scars in Heaven, but my outside voice will be my inside voice and beautiful in heaven. Amen! All because of You! I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Praise For Jerusalem’s Restoration and Prosperity”

The theme of the psalm is a focus on the rebuilding of Jerusalem. The Story of Psalm 147. This psalm tells us something about God’s love and his power. Here, power does not only mean that he rules everything. It also means that he is very, very strong. It is the second of the 5 Hallelujah Psalms, 146-150. “Hallelujah” means “*praise the *LORD”. Psalm 147 is exclusively praise of the second type — praise that is sung about God. The purpose of this type of praise is testimony. The content of the testimony of Psalm 147 ranges between two poles — creation and redemption. In terms of creation, the psalm bears witness to God as the creator and the sustainer:
Psalm 147:1-20
Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathered together the outcasts of Israel. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. He tells the number of the stars; he calls them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. The LORD lifts up the meek: he casts the wicked down to the ground. Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: Who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow upon the mountains. He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry. He delighted not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion. For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee. He makes peace in thy borders, and fills thee with the finest of the wheat. He sends forth his commandment upon earth: his word runs very swiftly. He giveth snow like wool: he scattered the hoarfrost like ashes. He castes forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? He sends out his word, and melted them: he causes’ his wind to blow, and the waters flow. He showed his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.

Jehovah Rapha I thank You and praise You for Your promise to bind up my brokenness and heal my hurt. I believe may I walk humbly before You, with my mind healing my body and trusting your many precious promises knowing that You are able to carry me through any and every situation that life throws at me. Thank You for giving me a powerful mind and I thank You and I praise You for keeping my body safe from all harm and keeping me strong through Your Holy Spirit. I thank You, Praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“The Lord An Abundant Helper”

Psalm 146 tells us, To experience God’s blessing, always praise Him and always trust Him. This psalm (and each of Psalms 147-150), begins and ends with the exhortation, “Praise the Lord” (“Hallelujah”). We should not use hallelujah loosely, lest we be guilty of taking the Lord’s name in vain. Here are some great ways to praise the Lord and what He says about them! Praise Him by lifting your hands. Praise Him with singing. Praise Him with your words. Praise Him with dancing and instruments. Praise Him in fellowship with other believers.

Psalm Chapter 146:1-10
Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners: The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.

Father God, I thank You and praise You that You are a faithful God and believe that You would place Your look of blessings upon us and give us Your peace in our hearts. This is the day You have made and how wonderful are the works of Your hands and How majestic are Your ways. How amazing is Your grace towards me and how deep is Your love for those of us who are in Christ Jesus. Thank You that I am Your child and the work of Your hands. I raise my heart in praise and inside and outside voice day my day, to sing of Your love and faithfulness to me. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Ends Of The Earth”

My high school Sunday school teacher: said: I know some of you are not going to like what I am going to teach you. It has to be taught so that you will learn God’s ways and not your own. God will guide you as you learn with me the do’s and don’ts of this world. He had us do plays skits on each commandment. But what made it fun is we got to only do 1 commandment. Each commandment brought out hurt, anger, compassion and forgiveness and the will to not disobey but to work out righteousness and understand why we have to obey the commandments. Being a slave to righteousness is a good thing. This servitude means you let God dictate what you do, what you think, and what you say. You let His love direct your relationships. It is like the default setting on a computer or device. The Ten Commandments, also known as the Decalogue, are a set of biblical principles relating to ethics and worship, which play a fundamental role in Judaism, Islam and Christianity. They include instructions to worship only God and to keep the sabbath, and prohibitions against idolatry, blasphemy, murder, theft, dishonesty, and adultery. The 10 commandments are 10 laws in the Bible that God gave to the nation of Israel after they left Egypt. The 10 commandments summarize the Old Testament Law. The first 4 commandments talk about our relationship with God. The last 6 commandments concern our relationships with other people. God wants His people conquering all of the difficulties and trials of life. He wants His people living full, victorious lives. This was the reason He gave the Ten Commandments to the people of Israel. He wanted His people to have the laws, the commandments that told them how to live, the commandments that would lead them to full, victorious lives. Jesus Christ told us to keep the Commandments because that is the evidence of our salvation, which happens by grace. If we are saved, we have the Holy Spirit which helps us obey God and overcome sin. We are a new creation. In Matthew 19:16, Jesus was asked what must be done to inherit eternal life. His answer: “If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matthew 19:17). Jesus then listed several, including enough of the Ten Commandments to make clear which commandments He meant: “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself'” (Matthew 19:18-19).
The Exodus version ESV Bible: Exodus 20:1-17
“You shall have no other gods before me.”
“You shall not make yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God are only worthy of worship, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.”
“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, or your servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.”
“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.”
“You shall not murder.”
“You shall not commit adultery.”
“You shall not steal.”
“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey-whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness. When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our LORD. Romans 6:15-23
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:3-8
Father God, how I long to be more child-like in my attitude, with the sort of faith that trusts You like a child, and whose heart is ever open towards You. Guide and teach me, Lord Jesus, to live in purity of heart and gentleness of spirit, so that Jesus may be reflected through me, to those with whom I come in contact today. I thank You and praise You that what is impossible for me is possible for You. Please help me to trust You in all things, and not have confidence in my own abilities and resources. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

“The Lord Extolled For His Goodness”

In fact, Psalm 145 through Psalm 150 are known as the Praise Psalms because all five of them begin and end with the words, “Praise the LORD!” This particular psalm is the last of the 73 psalms that David wrote. Psalm 145 is a psalm in which David specifically gives five distinct characteristics of God, and they all begin with the letter “G.” God is sovereign because he existed before creation and he has complete power over everything. Also, by his will all things were created. List at least five characteristics of God emphasized in Psalm 145. Gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, rich in love, mighty, faithful, trustworthy, righteous. Psalm 145 – Praising God for Who He Is and What He Does. This Psalm is titled, A Praise of David. Though Psalm 86 was called A Prayer of David, this is the only on titled A Praise of David, and it is a summit peak of praise. “Psalm 145 is indeed a monumental praise psalm, a fit summary of all David had learned about God, Greatness, goodness, gracious, glorious, generation.

Psalm Chapter 145:1-21
I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honor of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD upholds all that fall, and raises up all those that be bowed down. The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou gives them their meat in due season. Thou opens thine hand, and satisfices the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. The LORD preserves all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

{Lets Pray}
Father God, I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory that You are our God Who is worthy of our continuous praise and worship. Fill my heart each day with songs of thanksgiving and praise for all You all that You have done for me and all Who trust You for their salvation. I believe I will never forget Your goodness and grace to all Your children, and keep my heart in being ready, in giving, thankfulness and worshiping You in praise. You alone are worthy of honor, glory highly to be praised. Open mine mind and eyes of my understanding more so that in every circumstance of life I can sing, “Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, His greatness is unsearchable.” I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Prayer of Rescue and Prosperity”

Psalm 144 – War and Peace This psalm has the title A Psalm of David. It is believed to have been written near the time David came to be recognized as the king over all the tribes of Israel, and the psalm expresses David’s heart for the nation in both war and peace.
Is the Psalm 144 Treasury of David worthy of the greatest Hebrew poet?
Assuredly the addendum is worthy of the greatest Hebrew poet, and it is so admirable in language, and so full of beautiful imagery, that persons of taste who were by no means overloaded with reverence have quoted it times without number, thus confessing its singular poetical excellence. It is believed to have been written near the time David came to be recognized as the king over all the tribes of Israel, and the psalm expresses David’s heart for the nation in both war and peace. “It appears from verse 2 and verse 10 of this psalm, that it was composed after David’s accession to the throne.
Psalm Chapter 144:1-15
Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to fight: My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdues my people under me. LORD, what is man, that thou takes’ knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makes’ account of him! Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passes away. Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke. Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them. Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children; Whose mouth speaks vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood. I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee. It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivered David his servant from the hurtful sword. Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaks vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood: That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace: That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets: That our oxen may be strong to labor; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets. Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.

{Lets Pray}
Father God, I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory that You are in control of all Your creation and miracles, rescue and prosperity all comes from You. All power comes from You. Oh that everyone should walk in the fear of Your righteousness to bring peace, harmony and unity. I believe that all would know You are right with them fighting their struggles and battles. That they would know to have a trusting and confiding heart in You lord Jesus, so that they would tell You all about it and find out You have been loving and blessing them all along. You have defeated their battles. Every believer can think back to how you have been a help to them in the past. You are our help. Everyone who has put their trust in the Lord Jesus I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.

“Perfect Sacrifice”

“Priestly work under the new covenant (9:11-14) When the Jewish high priest entered the Most Holy Place, God’s symbolic presence, he took the blood of the sacrificial animal with him. This was a sign that an innocent substitute had died for the guilty sinner, so that the barrier to God’s presence through sin might be removed.”

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:11-14

Heavenly Father God; I trust in You, thank You and praise You that there are no circumstances of life that You do not know about and that in all things I am more than a conqueror, through Christ, Who loved me and gave Himself for me. May I rejoice in the Lord at all times and in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make my request known to You – for I have trusted in Your loving-kindness and my heart rejoices in God my Savior. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23″ Father God You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. Come into my heart I make You my Lord and Savior in Jesus Precious Name Amen. If you prayed this prayer Jesus came into your heart. Find a home church where you will be welcomed. God bless you have a awesome day full of blessings.

Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.
I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me. Psalm 13:6

“The Blessing Of Redemption”

In Ephesians Chapter 1, Paul told the people that they should all be holy and free from blame as they were in Jesus’ mercy and had His love. Paul said they were chosen by God to be adopted by Jesus as He redeemed them from their sins with His sacrifice on the cross. He filled them all with patience, wisdom, and strength.

What is the meaning of Ephesians Chapter 1?
The first three chapters of Ephesians are doctrinal , while the last three are practical. Chapter one – establishes Paul’s view on the value of our salvation in Christ, and the blessings we obtain from it. He does this in the form of praise, directed at God, and describing in detail what it means to have an inheritance in heaven. Since the word translated “predestined” means literally “to define beforehand”, we might understand these verses to say that for those of us who received God’s invitation of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and who are living this life by faith in Him, God determined beforehand to adopt us as His very own children and that we would be His precious inheritance.
The Global Message of Ephesians. The message of Ephesians for the global church is that in Christ God has reconciled to himself all things by his free grace, and in so doing he has enabled humans all over the world to be reconciled with one another.

Ephesians Chapter 1:1-23

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

{Lets Pray}
Father God, as I read the Scriptures, the writings of Paul, the epistles of Christ’s other apostles and the amazing truth that has been revealed to your people, I humbly thank You and praise You for the Bible. I thank You and praise You for Your grace in my life, and that Your grace is sufficient in all the difficulties that I am facing. It was Your grace that sought me out and saved me, and it is Your grace that keeps me and holds me. I pray that your perfect peace may spread all through my soul, as I rest in Your grace today. Help me to be increasingly attentive to read it regularly and reflect on all that it contains. Give me wisdom, guidance and understanding. Let me keep my eyes on Jesus and let Jesus show through me to others. I thank You and praise You that my salvation does not rely on my goodness but on Your great goodness and grace in sending Your only begotten Son to pay the full penalty for my sin, so that in Jesus I am forgiven of all my sin and have received eternal life. I thank You and praise His Holy Precious Name Amen.

Ephesians 1:5

“Trust You, To God”

Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everyone that concerns you. Be careful, watch out for attacks from Satan, your great enemy. He prowls around like a hungry, roaring lion, looking for some victim to tear apart. Stand firm when He attacks. Trust in the Lord; and remember that other Christians all around the world are going through these sufferings too.

1 Peter 5:7-9
So if you are suffering according to God’s will, keep on doing what is right and trust yourself to the God who made you, for He will never fail you.

1 Peter 4:19
After you have suffered a little while, our God who is full of kindness through Christ will give you His eternal glory. He personally will come and pick you up, and set you firmly in place, and make you stronger than ever. To Him be all power over all things, forever and ever Amen.

1 Peter 5:10-11
Go ahead and prepare for the conflict, but victory comes from God.
