“Really Live! Just Saying!”

I have a God shaped hole in my neck from a seizure after I had a run in with someone wanting to lie about something that truly happened and I let anger about the lie land me on the floor and in a situation I never wanted to be in. This seizure landed me on the floor where my husband found me laying. I put myself in a situation, I never should of put myself in. I should of just gave it to God and moved on. Who knew! God gave us this extra air hole to live. Many people have had Trachea large membranous tube reinforced by rings of cartilage, extending from the larynx to the bronchial tubes and conveying air to and from the lungs; the windpipe. So that they can breathe again. God knew what He was doing when He made us. When I look back at all I have gone through. God has been with me all along. I have seen friends, who have gone through a tracheostomy surgery and they have passed on to heaven because their lungs was not strong enough. I wake up with a headache some mornings, only to realize after I clean my trach that it caused the headache. No one caused me to be angry and try to fix someone else who had their own agenda. I in the beginning should of given that situation to God and not been angry. I probably wouldn’t have this hole in my neck today. God has His way of letting us know He will never leave us and we need to just heed to Him in everything. Amen!
The “God-shaped hole” is the innate longing of the human heart for something outside itself, something transcendent, something “other.” {Ecclesiastes 3:11:He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end.} refers to God’s placing of “eternity in man’s heart.” God made humanity for His eternal purpose, and only God can fulfill our desire for eternity.
“The yoke is that used by two oxen to pull a heavy load.
Why did God put a yoke around Moses’ neck?
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be encumbered once more by a yoke of slavery. Now therefore why tempt you God, to put a yoke on the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? Why. Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink.

Matthew 11:28-30 NIV It reads:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1-22:
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he labored? I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning to the end. I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God. I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requires that which is past. And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

Yesterday as I was leaving church. I saw this The red cardinal bird: They symbolize the phases of restoring when going through great difficulties with greater hope in God. The red cardinal birds viewed as the symbols of keeping faith irrespective of the tough times, which comes through in our life. They remind us to glue with the Lord even in times of despair. I have always loved these birds. I like taking their pictures. Then I saw a rabbit eating out of the grass took his picture. It was so peaceful.

“The Majesty of The Lord”

Verses 1-5: Psalm 93 and 95 to 100 (compare Psalm 47), are dedicated to celebrating God’s sovereign kingship over the world. Psalm 93 glorifies God’s eternal, universal kingdom which is providentially administered through His Son (Col. 1:17). Nothing is more powerful than the Lord; nothing is more steadfast. In Hebrew, the number 93 can also mean “the sons of (the merciful) God.” The number 93 is an intensification of the numbers 3 and 31, which makes it more significant, for it carries the meaning from offspring to sons of God, which speaks of completeness.

I. The Lord’s Universal Kingdom (93:1-4).

A. Over the Earth (93:1-2);
B. Over the Sea (93:3-4).

II. The Lord’s Authoritative Revelation (93:5).
Psalm Chapter 93:1-5:
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
Father God, You are the Mighty King Robbed in Your Majesty! Lord Jesus You reign over the sea and dry land. You reign over all Your creation. You are our eternity in righteousness. You are always to be praised in all and all. I thank You, Praise You and give You all the glory for life in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Bows and Braids”

I wanted to look up a bow bible verse. So I put bow in the search: This is what I came up with.
And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle-I am telling the truth, I am not lying-and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles. Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 1but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. A woman should learn in quietness and full {submission.the action or fact of accepting or yielding to a superior force or to the will or authority of another person.} 1 Timothy 2:7-11
Like my husband. I tell him I am going to do something and he might tell me no! I need you to do it this way. I do it his way and realize my way was not what it was all cracked up to be. Then he may suggest something and I say let’s work on this. Together we come up with a solution. Working together is like taking this elastic and adding ribbon to it to make it more beautiful to use. This is submission. Teamwork, working together. Venturing together.
Now I looked up the word braid: I like looking stuff up on the computer so I came up with 1 Timothy 2:9. How cool is that!
Also Matthew 6:1-34 it reads: Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

“Praise For The Lord’s Goodness”

Psalm 92 It is a groundless opinion of some of the Jewish writers (who are usually free of their conjectures) that this psalm was penned and sung by Adam in innocency, on the first sabbath. It is inconsistent with the psalm itself, which speaks of the workers of iniquity, when as yet sin had not entered. Psalm 92: This is one of the few psalms with a liturgical superscription. Its specific connection with the Sabbath day is not explained, but it probably lies in its picture of the wicked vanquished (verses 4-9), and the righteous exalted (verses 10-15), a harbinger of an eternal Sabbath rest (Heb. 4:9-11: There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.)
Psalm Chapter 92:1-15
IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever: But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore. For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Father God, fill me with Your Spirit of the Vine, Christ Jesus my Lord and savior. I will bring forth fruit, more fruit, much fruit to glorify Your Holy name. I worship and praise Your Holy Name for waking me and letting me breathe Your air freely so I can sing and worship everyday. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus precious Name Amen.

“Hateful People Can Learn To Love”

Keep Calm – Be patient! They could be going through a battle you have no idea about. Immediately in your heart pray for them. It is between you and God and God knows them better than you.
Switch the outlook or conversation – God please give me the words to speak to this person or just to let them know to have a nice day and so I can go on my way.
Pick Your Battles – Listen, speak truth into the situation and give this to God. “The battle is MINE,” says The LORD. “Your fight is to keep the faith and stand in MY HOLY WORD that is a sure foundation for you. Stand in unwavering faith when all the odds are against you! “Be firm and determined not to be moved by your circumstances or what you see, hear and understand.
Don’t bring yourself down to Their Level – Raise them up to Jesus perspective. Ask yourself: What would Jesus do?
Understand That it is their choice to be hateful – Tell them have a good day and walk away. Or just say God bless you. Let them think about their own actions.
Don’t let their words or actions affect you – This can sometimes be real hard, but not hard for God. You know you are loved and are better than the evil words someone just throws at you. They can’t hurt you because you know the real you.
Detach Yourself from That Person – Forgive right away, walk away and never turn back. Move on. Eventually they will see their faults in their situation and it is up to them to make amends or not. They will learn to love God and others. The way they need this same love that only God can give.
Anyone who calls on God knows He is closer than any person or problem. Amen. The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:18
It reads in Romans 10:3-13:
For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses described the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. But the righteousness which is of faith speaks on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above: Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what says it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
“Psalm 65:2-5 “It reads: You who answer prayer, to you all people will come. When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions. Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple. You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas.

“Security Of Those Who Trust In The Lord”

Psalm 91 is really more spiritual than it is physical. You will note that it starts off talking about the person who is living in the secret place of God’s presence. Psalm 91 is not a set of propositional promises for us to “claim.”. It is a general description of the person who abides daily in the secret place of God’s presence. Psalm 91 teaches us that there is a place where we can dwell in God. That place is worship! Close to the heart of God. Here’s what we learn from Psalm 91 when God is our refuge: He rescues us from trouble. He delivers us from fear. In Him, we’re victorious against trials.
Psalm Chapter 91:1-16
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; Nor for the pestilence that walked in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Father God. I thank You and praise You that You God are our home. If we ever have been or ever will be in , You, that is where we are right now. God You are Love. God You are changeless. It is not for You to change. It is that we should change our minds. Whereas You gave us Your powerful mind to heal our body’s into righteousness and to accept the reality of Your love until our lives become transformed. Then and only then will we really know You and Your powerful freedom we really have in You. In Your Precious Name Jesus Amen.
{Power Verse}

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. Psalm 91:14

“Faking It! Doesn’t Make It! Being Real Is Zeal!”

All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With the tongue we praise our LORD and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. James 3:7-15
From the fruit of their lips people enjoy good things, but the unfaithful have an appetite for violence. Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin. A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied. Proverbs 13:2-4

“God’s Eternity and Man’s Passing”

{Book 4}
Psalm 90: This psalm is the only one written by Moses and thus the oldest in the Psalter. From (verses 7-12), we may judge that it was written at the end of the 38 years of wandering in the wilderness. It is a prayer for the new generation of Israelites who will enter the Promised Land. There are four parts to it speaks of judgment imposed by Yahweh on the people. Presumably, this refers to the experiences of the Israelites during the Exodus, when Yahweh punished them for their unfaithfulness. Why Is Psalm 91 Important During COVID-19? Psalms 91 is God’s way of telling us that whoever runs to him and seeks his divine protection will be saved from calamity and destruction. When we pray the words of this psalm it becomes a powerful shield of protection from fear. Psalm 90 conveys a sense of Weltschmerz, a feeling of melancholy, apathy, and world-weariness. The poem acknowledges the inherent futility to life, such that “we finish our years with a moan.”. Whether we live eighty, ninety, or even a hundred years, “yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, / for they quickly pass, and we fly away.”.
Psalm Chapter 90:1-17
Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men. For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up. In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth. For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled. Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath. So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants. O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil. Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

Father God, I thank You and praise You for each day of my life and for the opportunities that You have given me to live a life, as unto You. May each day of my life, from this day forward, be exercised in a way that is adhere and pleasing to You, so that in all I say and do You may be Thanked, Praised, honored and glorified, in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Embrace To Love”

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book. And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

“The Lord’s Covenant with David and Israel’s Afflictions.”

Psalms 88 and 89 are extreme prayers. Together they form a provocative sequence to bring Book III to a sober and unsettling end. Psalm 88 is a deeply personal lament on death and dying and Psalm 89 is a passionate public lament on God’s covenant love and the future of faithfulness. Psalm 89 – The Incomparable God and His Covenant to David. The title of this Psalm is, A Contemplation of Ethan the Ezrahite. There are several men named Ethan in the Hebrew Scriptures, but this man is mentioned specifically in 1 Kings 4:30-31 And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about. As someone who was famous for his wisdom yet surpassed by Solomon’s greater wisdom. If Friedrich Nietzsche had considered these psalms he might have thought twice about his charge. The important promise is that someone from David’s family would always be king. Ethan wrote Psalm 89 many years after this. He called it a *maskil, a psalm that teaches us something. In the psalm, Ethan sings about a problem. God had promised that there would always be a king in David’s family.
Psalm Chapter 89:1-52
I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens. I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee? Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them. Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm. The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them. The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name. Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand. Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favor our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defense; and the Holy One of Israel is our king. Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted. I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven. If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments; Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah. But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed. Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground. Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin. All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbor’s. Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice. Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle. Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground. The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah. How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire? Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain? What man is he that lives, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah. Lord, where are thy former loving kindnesses, which thou swears unto David in thy truth? Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people; Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed. Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
