Security in the Lord! God surrounds his people. A Song of degrees. Psalm 125: Security in the Lord is the keynote of this psalm, and appropriate theme for pilgrims. It includes a description of security. Prayer for prosperity and a warning of judgment. Wicked (or very bad) people were trying to rule Israel. Psalm Chapter 125:1-5 They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel. {Let’s Pray} Father God, I thank You and Praise You for protecting those who believe in You and do what is right. I thank You that I can believe in You, because You have never failed me. We who love You, praise You and thank You for Your faithfulness to both Israel and to the Church. We love and praise You and thank You that those Who trust in Your name are secure in the tuth of Your Word and cannot be moved. You are with us to protect us and to provide for us no matter what we may face in this world and life. May we live to Your love, worship, praise and glory. I thank You and praise You that You surround all of us and know all. May we magnify Your name always in Jesus Precious and mighty Name Amen! Hallelujah!
As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel. Psalm 125:5
Psalm 124:1 “If [it had not been] the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;” Unless it was Yahweh who was with us. The idea is, that someone had been with them, and had delivered them, and that such was the nature of the interposition that it could be ascribed to no one but Yahweh. It bore unmistakable evidence that it was his work. Psalm 124 describes God’s merciful deliverance. Psalm 124 is all about depending on God. The psalm points entirely to God and his help, and there is no stealing the glory for oneself. Note: You will notice this psalm is marked as a Psalm of David. David penned this psalm (we suppose) upon occasion of some great deliverance which God wrought for him and his people from some very threatening danger, which was likely to have involved them all in ruin, whether by foreign invasion, or intestine insurrection, is not certain; whatever it was he seems to have been himself much affected, and very desirous to affect others, with the goodness of God, in making a way for them to escape. To him he is careful to give all the glory, and takes none to himself as conquerors usually do. Psalm 124:1-8 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Father God, I thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory. For You and only You can take a situation that seems impossible and You see all that goes on so You can take the devious people and turn them around, when they don’t win over Your works. “Unending, Glorious Future” This message is from Him {Jesus} who is the first and the last, who was dead and then came back to life. I know how much you suffer for the Lord, and I know all about your poverty{But you have heavewnly riches!} I know the slander of those opposing you, who say they are Jews, the children of God, but they aren’t for they support the cause of Satan. Stop being afraid of what you are about to suffer, for the devil will soon throw some of you in prison to test you. You will be persecuted for “ten days.” Become faithful even when facing death and I will give you the crown of life ‘an unending’, glorious future. Let everyone who can hear, listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to the churches; he who is victorious shall not be hurt by the Second Death. Revelation 2:8-11 Your steadfast love, O Lord, is as great as all the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds! Psalm 36:5
Father God, help us, your people, to be salt and light in this forsaking world.. cause us to be united under your banner of love. Change us and change the world for your glory. Psalm 123 – Looking to the LORD for Mercy in Affliction. This psalm is simply titled A Song of Ascents. It is another in the series of psalms sung by pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem at feast time. These songs give us a pattern of preparation to meet with God and His people.
Psalm Chapter 123:1-4 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us. Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt. Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud. Father God, I thank You and praise You at how wonderful it is to lift up our eyes to You in prayer and praise. You are our God and Savior Who is enthroned in heavenly places. I thank You and praise You that there is no enemy that can daunt us, nor any circumstance in life that You do not permit for our spiritual development and eternal good. I thank You that You walked this earth to save the sinner. I believe that I would develop a Christlike character that honors Your name through the trials of life, and I believe that my prayers and praises would raise to You as a sweet as it is in my heart and when I sing outside of me to praise Your Holy name. . Guide me forever walking in spirit and truth and looking to Jesus the author and finisher of all. Psalm 122 is a song of arrival. It’s the song of someone who has been looking forward to that arrival for some time. And it’s also a song about going to church, about gathering with God’s people for worship each week. You will notice that the psalm both begins and ends with the phrase “the house of the Lord.” Psalm 122, written by David, was written as a song of degrees for the people to sing on their way to the feasts at Jerusalem. Jerusalem , the city of peace, not only means the literal city, but also has a secondary meaning referring to the New Jerusalem that God is preparing for His saints who will dwell with Him forever. PSALM 122:1-9 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together: Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good. Father God, I thank You, I love You and praise You for Your home, family and the unity it endures. I thank You and praise You that it is a place where sinners congregate and learn and are saved by Your grace, forgiveness, mercy, love, kindness but most of all giving and walking in righteousness and having a freedom that is unfathomable. You give us the hope and faith we need to endure this world. Everything works perfectly in Your timing. Your promises are truth. Your word is truth. You hold all of Your children together as one with You. I am believing peace for Jerusalem and all over Your earth. People that don’t know You they will come to know and love You. I thank You Jesus for loving the sinner and giving all us sinners second chances and on. The central dispute in the letter concerns the question of how Gentiles could convert to Christianity, which shows that this letter was written at a very early stage in church history, when the vast majority of Christians were Jewish or Jewish proselytes, which historians refer to as the Jewish Christians. Another indicator that the letter is early is that there is no hint in the letter of a developed organization within the Christian community at large. This puts it during the lifetime of Paul himself. Galatians 3 is the third chapter of the Epistle to the Galatians in the New Testament of the Christian Bible. It is authored by Paul the Apostle for the churches in Galatia, written between 49–58 CE. CE and AD have the same value. As with all the Bible, the original of the letter (autograph) is not known to survive. Papyrus 46, the earliest reasonably complete version available to scholars today, dates to approximately AD 200, approximately 150 years after the original was presumably drafted. This papyrus is fragmented in a few areas, causing some of the original text to be missing, “however, through careful research relating to paper construction, handwriting development, and the established principles of textual criticism, scholars can be rather certain about where these errors and changes appeared and what the original text probably said. This chapter contains Paul’s important argument about Abraham’s faith and his ‘offspring’, a designation for “those belong to Jesus Christ”. Galatians 3, Paul continues to make the case that faith in Christ is all that is required to be justified-“made righteous”-in God’s eyes. Paul also continues to write with great urgency. This matters deeply to him. The Galatian Christians had believed in Jesus and began enjoying their freedom in Jesus Christ. Galatians Chapter 3:1-29 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Have ye suffered so many things in vain? If it be yet in vain. He therefore that ministered to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hang on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. {Lets Pray} Father God, I thank You and praise You, that I have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Keep me from trying to live my life by keeping laws for I know that without Your life within I can do nothing. I cannot keep laws in my own strength and guidance. I thank You and I praise God that as I am empowered by Your Holy Spirit, I may live godly in Jesus. I thank You and Praise You that Jesus took the full punishment for my sins on the cross, and that my salvation is not based on the good things that I do to please You, only on the good work that Jesus did on the cross on my behalf which satisfies You. Keep me from trying to add to Jesus Christ’s finished work on the cross. I thank You and praise You that I may live my life in a manner that is pleasing to You, as I die to self and live for Jesus. I thank You for this gift that can never be taken from me. I thank You,praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Psalm 121 is classified as a psalm of confidence meant to celebrate God’s providential care and is the second psalm in the: Song of Ascents is a title given to fifteen of the Psalms, 120–134, each starting with the superscription Shir Hama’aloth. They are also variously called Gradual Psalms, Songs of Degrees, Songs of Steps or Pilgrim Songs. Anadiplosis is the repetition of the last word of a preceding clause. The word is used at the end of a sentence and then used again at the beginning of the next sentence. Psalm Chapter 121:1-8 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Father God, I thank You and Praise You that You are my ever-present help in troubled times and that by the blood of Christ I now have access to Your throne of grace, for mercy – to find help in time on need. You are my protection and held by Your right hand in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
Psalm 120 is the first of these Psalms and it is a psalm about praying in times of trouble. So let’s read this psalm together as we get started. (Read Psalm 120:1-7 and pray.) Pray in silent what ever is ailing you and give it to God.

Psalm Chapter 120:1-7 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me. Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. {Power Verse} In my distress I cried out to God. And He answered me. Psalm 120:1
The overall message of Psalm 119 focuses on the truth of God’s Word. It encourages us through every generation to stay close and focused on His Word no matter what swirls around us in this world.
Psalm Chapter 119:1-176 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word. I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments. The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law. At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments. I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts. The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes. Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies. I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word. Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness. Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word. I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil. I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love. Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments. Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight. Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments. {Let’s Pray} Father God, I thank You and praise You that Your word is truth.I thank You for the valuable lessons it contains. I thank You for the protection it supply’s, and the treasures that are hidden within Your word. I believe Your Word is to me my daily source of strength , and my life-support, knowing that it alone can keep me from the evil one and enable me to live a life that is pleasing to You. I believe this day by day, You will teach me and train me through Your Word, so that I do not go astray, and I further ask that You use me to guide others into Your paths of peace. That they will learn to know You and be a slave to Your righteousness also and be blessed as they bless You back. You are awesome and wonderful. And though we may know this in our head, it might be hard to walk out every day. Learning to choose joy in hard times takes effort and action on our part; it requires our hearts to be set on Him. PSALM 118:1-29 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endures for ever. Let Israel now say, that his mercy endures for ever. Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endures for ever. Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endures for ever. I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar. Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. Father God, I thank You and praise You, that You are my God and that there is nothing that man can do to harm or disturb me. I pray that the eyes of my heart may remain fixed and focused on You. With respectful fear, childlike trust and walk in righteousness. Keep my heart from the fear of man for You have promised that those that trust in You are kept safe from all foe who cause illusion to cause unnecessary problems.
