Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today with Your light in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
To say God is omnipresent means He is present everywhere with His whole Being at all times. Omnipresence is God’s characteristic of being present to all ranges of both time and space. Although God is present in all time and space, God is not locally limited to any time or space. Many religions believe God is everywhere at one time. However, the Bible specifically teaches that God is both everywhere at once and transcendent (above all) or outside of His creation. Even Jesus was omniscient here on earth, but only to the extent of what the Father wanted HIM to know. It’s rather easy to see and understand from scripture. It reads in Acts 1:7 “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority.” What is really exciting to know is we have constant communication with the God of the universe. The one who can make all things right and see as we stay in His light and not sway to the left or the right. His love is unconditional.
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. Psalm 139:7-12
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You that You have the authority to assist me to trust You completely. Your almighty power and will to work in my life in mighty ways. I thank You and praise You that nothing is impossible, and You can do even more than I could hope for. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
{Power Verse}
I would rather be a doorman of the temple of my God than live in palaces of wickedness.
One of the primary concerns for people being released from prison is finding a job. As our illustrations I have viewed, formerly incarcerated people are almost five times more likely than the general public to be unemployed, and many who are employed remain relegated to the most insecure jobs. Our illustrations I have viewed also shows that formerly incarcerated people that are women have the worst labor market disadvantages despite being more likely to be looking for jobs. Especially women with children. People who are incarcerated deserve a 2nd chance without their neighbors or society judging them. Someone told me the other day. Why are you fearing for people who are incarcerated or out for a 2nd chance. I said Paul was in prison several times during his ministry, and, almost everywhere he went, there were people who wanted him in prison. “You know your any person who mocks believers? Their heart is not too far for Jesus to save. This is what goes on today and back in Paul’s day. It all began when Jesus confronted Saul the Pharisee on the road to Damascus and completely changed the course of Saul’s life.
It reads in Acts 9:1–20 ” But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him. And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. But rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.” The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one. Saul rose from the ground, and although his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. So they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank. Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” And the Lord said to him, “Rise and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas look for a man of Tarsus named Saul, for behold, he is praying, and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight.” But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem. And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.” But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.” So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was baptized; and taking food, he was strengthened.” God had chosen Saul, better known to most by his Roman name Paul, for a special mission: to be the apostle to the Gentiles. It reads in Romans 11:13; But I speak to you that are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I glorify my ministry;”
It also reads in Galatians 2:8; For the One who was at work in Peter’s apostleship to the circumcised was also at work in my apostleship to the Gentiles. For the same God who worked through Peter as the apostle to the Jews also worked through me as the apostle to the Gentiles. Fulfilling this calling would mean enduring much suffering as in Acts 9:16, including beatings, shipwreck, stoning’s, and arrests for simply preaching the gospel.
It reads in 2 Corinthians 11:24–27; Five different times the Jewish leaders gave me thirty-nine lashes. Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. Once I spent a whole night and a day adrift at sea. I have traveled on many long journeys. I have faced danger from rivers and from robbers. I have faced danger from my own people, the Jews, as well as from the Gentiles. I have faced danger in the cities, in the deserts, and on the seas. And I have faced danger from men who claim to be believers but are not. I have worked hard and long, enduring many sleepless nights. I have been hungry and thirsty and have often gone without food. I have shivered in the cold, without enough clothing to keep me warm. We know of three times Paul was imprisoned. Given that Paul was active in ministry for thirty-five years, he certainly could have been arrested and imprisoned at other times as well. Paul’s arrests were a result of his being faithful to God’s call on his life, not of committing evil. Romans 7:14–25 reflects Paul’s fight and failure with sin, the rest of the letter doesn’t make much sense. Let’s read it: We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do, this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin. Lets really read this and understand: Whoever will not obey the law of your God and the law of the king, let judgment be strictly executed on him, whether for death or for banishment or for confiscation of his goods or for imprisonment.” Psalm 69:33. God gave us this powerful mind as a gift to pray for others, heal our body’s, because He knew these bodies couldn’t heal our minds.
It reads in Matthew 7:11; But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. It reads in James 1:17: If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! It reads in 2 Corinthians 5:1; Our bodies are like tents that we live in here on earth. But when these tents are destroyed, we know that God will give each of us a place to live. These homes will not be buildings that someone has made, but they are in heaven and will last forever.
“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” Judge the sin and not the sinner. Luke 6:37-38 Love these verses that gave me a better perspective on life. Just saying!
It reads in Matthew 7:1-5 ; “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘ Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
It reads in James 4:11-12; Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge , the one who is able to save and destroy. But you-who are you to judge your neighbor? I had to add these. Because when we judge a sinner and not the sin. We are condemning our selves and others. We are making the nightmare happen. Just saying. Only we can make the right changes in our own life and learn to say I am sorry and forgive others. Forgiving Others Who Hate Us. Just like Jesus asked for God to forgive those who were nailing Him to the cross. Luke 23:34! “Giving our Lives for Others Jesus taught His disciples, and I believe He wants to teach us, that there is no “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).
Praying for our Enemies, those who use you, gossip about you or abuse you and make you suffer. Loving our enemies is what makes us different. Our Heavenly Father. It’s what makes Christianity so special. God forgives those who are sorry for their sins, doesn’t matter how grievous they are. God loves us all whether we deserve it or not. realistically nobody actually deserves His love at all. God is so Holy and exalted we all fall short of His glory. Prayer and action will make your life right. {Lets Pray} Father God, Forgive me for wrongfully judging and teach me to love the sinner and hate the sin. Teach me to give second and third chance who don’t deserve this. But let me acknowledge that I don’t deserve Your forgiveness. You love us unconditionally as we walk with You in Your light. Teach us to pray for our enemies and bless them in away that they will acknowledge You in their life in need of a savior. We all are. We long to be more like You and to finish the work that You have prepared for all of us. I believe that I may be perfect as You perfect Your life in me in all I say and do, to Your praise and glory. I want so to meet You face to face one day either here on earth or at Heavens gate. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
{Power Verse} To show partiality is not good, though a person may do wrong for a crust of bread. Proverbs 28:21
Father God let this touch someone’s heart today thank You and praise You in Jesus Precious Name Amen. They say you sow what you reap. To give seed to the soil, pluck weeds, water, pull off dead leaves, water, produce the crop for eating, giving away or sale so others can enjoy. We do this when we pray for others or ourselves. When we pray for our food and for those who prepare the food. Bless them and bless us and those who enjoy the finished product. I was working outside yesterday. Cleaned the shed so I can move the good plant containers in there. I was cutting one of my crepe myrtles down. The Crepe Myrtles have vines that grow on them and strangle them if I don’t cut the vines in time. Once a year I am to trim the branches at the top off so the new branches will grow and the flowers look so beautiful. More better than if I didn’t do this. Like I said those wild vines try to take over the Crepe Myrtle and every once in a while I will cut the grass, take my cutters and cut the vines that are on the ground so they don’t move on to the Crepe Myrtle. Those vines not taken care of would kill anything it wraps it self around. I had two battery operated saws to cut the branches off. Then the batteries died. The other battery on the charger didn’t charge. Hmm! I threw the dead battery away. I am rooting the branches I cut off, so they will grow some more Crepe Myrtles. Hopefully they will be rooted by April. Then I can trim the branches and repot them. I so love doing this. Hate when the battery’s die. LOL! Got 6 baby Agave’s from around the adult Agave. Tomorrow I am going to check the other 4 adult Agaves for some more baby’s. I love this time of year. I still have ferns. Thank God for old sheets to cover. Hopefully it won’t get any colder. I have Cana’s growing. I am going to dig them up and put them in containers. I have been enjoying this weather the past 3 days. In the morning will finish the crepe Myrtle and hopefully start on one of the other two Crepe Myrtles. I will use one saw at a time next time. That way I will have one charged when one goes down. 🙂 I went to Sam’s today to take a break and they had marked down the 20 gallon containers So I bought 5. I should of got all 12. But oh well. Then when I was leaving they had the flowering bulbs as we walked out. Who does that? I would of bought some gladiolus or the others. Oh well maybe they will be there when I go back to Sam’s another day. LO! Everyone needs a bargain once in awhile. I do have daffodils. You know you can grow daffodil’s. In the house under a florescent light. I take coat hangers and undo the wire and use the wire cutters to cut them in half and straighten it and curl the top and it holds the flowers in place. They are not flowered yet. They are just the leaves right now. But I do have photo’s I took last year of them in bloom. 🙂 I like to dig them up after they flower. They have several more bulbs around the one Daffodil that I planted. Bulbs are the best to buy and plant. I have dug them up with the leaves and plant them in containers. Bulbs are strong. In the winter of 2021 though, the bulbs that was in plant containers was all mushy. They didn’t make it to grow another year. The ones in the ground was really healthy. It is like if you are grounded in Your faith, belief, prayers, loving God and loving others in God you will succeed. Bulbs are a lot stronger that flower seeds. Seeds though are strong in their own community. Like Mum’s the word! Mum’s if they are planted right in nice comfortable seating. They will always grow. Just saying. My mum’s grew back from the freeze last year it took them till October. They lived! I was so happy! Light purple Mums. So lets just say seeds and bulbs are strong if they are properly taken care of. I know I have Aloe Vera I grow in the house only the past 2 years. Last year I put all the Aloe Vera out on the table in their own container and they was miserable. They died with in about 2 weeks and I was still taken good care of them. My friend told me! Susan! What you do is you take them out side a hour each day, for a couple of days and move to 2 hours and then move to 3 hours etc. It is not that the plant is spoiled. It is the plant has to get comfortable in its new environment. Who knew! Now I do. In Luke 22:32: I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. Quote by St. Augustine: Faith is to believe what we do not see, and the reward of this faith is to see what we believe. Luke 8:1-15 After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means. While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up. Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.” When he said this, he called out, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” His disciples asked him what this parable meant. He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, “‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’ “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. {Let’s Pray} Father God, I love You, thank You and praise You for the great things You have done for me and for the wonderful work Christ did on the Cross at Calvary. I thank You and praise You for all the good I have received by Your hand. You have forgiven me all my sin, healed all my diseases and call me Your child. You have redeemed my life from hell and set my feet on the rock. You have guided the most awesome people in my life to encourage, guide and grow with You in Your light. I believe that I may be as ready and willing to proclaim Your mighty works to the people I meet and that many would be released from the curse of sin and the chains of death. Many will, by their choice walking, praising You and singing in the light with You for all eternity. The next generation will be strong in Your love, giving, blessings and their heart and soul will bloom with Your light leading them. The next generation are already a blessings in Christ precious Name Amen.
{Power Verse} O’ God, my heart is already to praise You. I will sing and rejoice before You. Psalm 108:111
How awesome it is to plant and watch stuff grow. It is amazing how I put a tulip bulb in water vase a week ago and it has roots. Like wow! I took one out of the dirt and the roots grew skinny and long all in the dirt. The roots in the water stay in one community and the roots in the dirt spread out like they were cuddled up in a blanket. Lol! How awesome! I think if people bought the daffodils now while they have the green leaves, then they would enjoy the flowering time longer when they bloom. Guess it is like sin. If people sin longer, they don’t get to see Your goodness the way life is to be. But if they stand firm with the breast plate of righteousness. “Ephesians 6:14” They can enjoy the beauty of flowering in Christ. God created us humans to have unique characteristics, beauty and purpose. However, He designed us also to have a sharing of features or attributes of contentment with our lives through His will. We discover our firm and true identity the more closely we are drawn near to Him. When we serve and stay in His word we grow spiritually. {Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:1-3} It reads in 1 Timothy 4:7; Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. It is so amazing when the daffodil’s grow. The leaves are strong and stand straight up. Then when the flowers bloom they are so strong and tall and spread out. It is amazing. I believe training us to be Godly looks just as beautiful to God. It reads in 1 Timothy 8:12; I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. {Let’s Pray} Father God, I thank You and praise You that my life is hid with Christ in You in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
{Power Verse} Men who encourage the upright to do good shall be given a worthwhile reward. Proverbs 28:10
Until Jesus comes back I want to be forever found faithful and giving all in the way I am living. Not as people see me, but as Jesus see’s me. If it is His will, I will do it. Lord prepare our hearts and minds until Jesus comes back. This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1:10-11 Ascension heaven Jesus And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. Gracious Father God, How wonderful to know Jesus is coming back right on time. Let this message touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen. We don’t know when. Jesus is coming again. It reads in the Bible, John 14:2-3: “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” It reads in Revelation 2:18-20: “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. This is indicating His omniscience and consuming fire of the wicked and also His stability and permanence. Having been commended for their deeds, love, service, faith, and patience, those who reject Satan will be fine if they hold fast the doctrines and character they have shown. Christ lays on them no further burden beyond holding fast. A person who sins and turns from their sin to do better are not to be judged by humankind. But given the chance to change through Jesus’s love. We are to pray for all people their hearts, their healing, their blessings and for ourselves. God’s people are supposed to be the salt to the earth and the light to the world. We are to provide the moral immune system that resists abominations and overcomes evil to avoid God’s wrath that destroys nations. God in His wisdom gave mankind the Ten Commandments. Not everyone is aware of these! If they are aware of the Ten Commandments they either ignore them, don’t understand or need to read the bible that holds a lot of truths about sin and walking right. We all can take and choose 1. right 2. wrong: Simple truths for everyday living. Ecclesiastes 8:5 reads: Obedience to God’s commands does not lead to harm, meaning I should not trust my abuser or bond with my abuser in an emotional way where they are able to harm my mental and spiritual health.
But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: Revelation 2:24-26
For the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights. Proverbs 12:3
Moses knew the Jewish people were not ready for this set of tablets written by the hand of God, which was on a higher level. Under the circumstances Moses therefore had decided the people had rebelled against God and Moses was angry with the people. So Moses’ broke the original tablets. (The original ten commandments were eventually placed in the King Solomon Temple during his reign in Jerusalem.) Then God calls Moses to prepare two tablets but this time, a different set of 10 commandments were written. (Exodus 34:10-11: Then the Lord said: “I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you. Obey what I command you today. I will drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.) Three months after God delivered the Israelites out of Egypt, He gave Moses the Ten Commandments. Written in stone by the finger of God, each of these statutes was collectively meant to show the Israelites God’s standard of holiness. This standard would give His people a glimpse of God’s character, prove to them that they could never attain righteousness on their own, and plant in their hearts a longing for salvation that would be realized through the sacrifice of God’s Son, Jesus. ( Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Galatians 3:24)
Father God, I graciously thank You and praise You that I have been saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. I have been baptized into His Body, by dying to sin and became one with Him, and a member of His Church. I thank You and praise You that Your Holy Spirit lives in me and that I have been given all that I need to live a godly life in Christ Jesus. I give You all the thanks, praise, honor and glory. I believe that I may be a good and faithful witness in the place where You have planted me to grow. I can do all things through Christ, Who strengthens me and empowers with His own resurrected Life. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
{Power Verse}
Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. Proverbs 3:12
Father God, let this message touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen. We go each day praying and doing what’s right, but one day someone out of the blue goes and disrespects you and treats you very unfairly, don’t worry Jesus was in that same situation and then some. Jesus was cast out, shunned, disrespected, scorned and attacked by the well to do and corrupt wealthy ruling class in power. Jesus, had been whipped, Jesus had to carry his own cross up the road to the hill of Calvary. At this point he was weak from blood loss and blinding pain from the scourging. Lots of people didn’t even survive the whipping, but Jesus still had work to accomplish. There were three crosses on Calvary on the day Jesus Christ was crucified. (“And when they had come to the place called Calvary [the Place of a Skull] there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.” Luke 23:33.) Jesus last time on the cross we see the submission of Jesus. Jesus “humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross” (Philippians 2:8). Now with one last cry, he yields up his spirit to his Father, bows his head, breathes his last, and dies, in total submission he has committed himself body and spirit to God. The crowd mocked him, saying, “Save yourself, and come down from the cross!” (Read in these verse’s: Mark 15:30; Matthew 27:40–44: and saying, “You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross.” So also the chief priests, with the scribes and elders, mocked him, saying, “He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him. For he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’” And the robbers who were crucified with him also reviled him in the same way.; Luke 23:37–39: and saying, “If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!” There was also an inscription over him, “This is the King of the Jews.” One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!” ). So before Jesus died on a cross for our sins, He promised His friends that even though His body would be put to death, He would walk out of the grave three days later. Sure enough, three days after His death, a friend named Mary Magdalene, came to the place where Jesus had been buried. She was the first one to see Jesus risen. Jesus experienced the same kind of treatment on the cross and died for our sins and rose to show we have eternal life in Him. Jesus knows those who are his. What is this knowledge? John 10:3:To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. This verse is a close parallel to John 10:27. It says, “The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.” So, when Jesus says, “I know them,” this means at least that he knows them by name; that is, he knows them individually and intimately.
2 Timothy 2:19: “Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. “We can be so grateful knowing God always welcomes us with open arms. We will always have us in His hearts, mind, leadership in His kingdom and always a seat at His table. God lets us know we matter, we belong, we matter, we belong. God will never leave us nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:5 {Let’s Pray} Father God, I thank You and praise You that You have made Yourself known through the bible Scriptures, the indwelling Holy Spirit and the Person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. I believe that the truths that I have read in Your Holy Word may be implanted so deeply within my soul, that nothing will shake me from the truth of Your Word that You have welcomed all Your church family from the beginning. We thank You and praise You for the new life in Jesus Christ. Thank You and praise You for Your promise to preserve and protect us throughout this life. Thank You and praise You that the day is coming when we will be glorified by spirit, soul and body in Your holy kingdom in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
{Power Verse} “For God has shut up all in disobedience, so that He may show mercy to all.” Romans 11:32
Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today! I thank You and praise You in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:4
God’s acceptance is already ours in Jesus Christ.
John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
This is why God loves us. God loves us because God is love, infinite and perfect love, greater than any love that we can imagine. Our human ability to love is finite and limited, and thus we have a tendency to put limitations on love itself. We think it makes sense to “earn” someone’s love or look for the reasons why another person loves us.
Romans 8:29: For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
I don’t know about anyone else, I am so blessed to be a child of God. That God would love me this much, more than anyone. His promises are truth. That is why I don’t promise nothing no more. His Promises a way far better than mine. Just saying.
Our service to God is a offering of thankfulness and praise. God has totally chosen us! We get to be apart of His creation and He influences His talents in us as His finished work.
When my children was small. They was learning how to talk and I listened patiently trying to make out what they was trying to say. I was so proud of them when they learned to roll over. I was really proud of them as I would practice holding them in my lap trying to get them to sit. When I thought they was safe enough I would put a pillow behind them to keep them from falling back as I guided them to stay sitting. I believe God is very proud of us as we learn and grow in Him.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You that you choose me and everyone in the family of God before the world and even all who are searching and learning to come back to You. I thank You so much for Your love, forgiveness, protection and guidance. I believe and willingly submit to the work of the Holy Spirit in me, and believe that You would search every aspect of my life and rid me of every trait that does not reflect the awesomeness of Jesus, and thank You that You predestined this amazing transformation of my ugly character into Jesus’s glorious likeness. I love you, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
{Power Verse}
You are My servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you. Isaiah 41:9
Father God, Let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen. When I took drawing and painting in college. We take a photo and try to copy it exact by drawing the portrait of any person. We did it in charcoal, colored pencils and paint. So I had several drawings. Any ways when it came to painting. I painted this picture. It was my last that was to be critiqued. Well I painted finished painting it the night before and it was dried. So I stayed up. I varnished it and knew it wouldn’t be dried by the morning so I put it in the freezer to dry. Hmm! Next morning I took it out of the freezer and the varnish was cracked all over like a mess. So I left it in the car until class. Then I went and got it out of the car and the cracks had settled down. But I was so upset that I was going to get a bad mark. Well we placed them on easels and then the teacher critiqued each one but also had us doing the same thing. I was so embarrassed by my painting. So Sue that was her name. She critiqued my painting. I told her I am sorry I didn’t have time to dry it so I stuck it in the freezer that is why it is cracked. So I thought my picture wasn’t cracked up like it wasn’t surpose to be. Well’ Sue looked at it critiqued it and I listened. I though I was going to get a failing mark. But she said that people pay good money for paintings that have a antique look and that the way I varnished and dried it in the freezer was the right way to make it look antique. I got a 98% on the painting. Who knew! So God can take our worse night mare and turn it out for HIs glory. Thing is I prayed that i would pass and then when I saw the painting when I took it out of the freezer I was sure I failed. God answered my prayer even when I showed Him doubt. He showed me He didn’t give up. I believe God loves us so much that He brings Heaven to earth when we pray, but then we wrap our mind in judgement and blame He shows us love, growth and change to believe in ourselves. Believe in our selves as Jesus walked this earth and was God in the flesh. Jesus went back to Heaven to leave space for grace and forgiveness on earth. We cannot come to a knowledge of Christ without first of all understanding the truth of who he is, and secondly, the truth of who we are. If do not know who Christ is, we will not value him. If we do not recognize who we are, we will not grasp the greatness of our need.
I found eight: “I AM” statements, as recorded in the gospel of John. Jesus’ reference to light was probably playing off of a ritual performed during the Feast of Booths, where lamps would be lit using wicks made from the robes of priests.
1) I Am the Bread of Life: Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 6:35
2) I Am the Light of the World: When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”John 8:12
3) I Am the door or gate: “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. John 10:9
4) I Am the Good Shepherd: “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. “John 10:11
5) I Am the resurrection, and the life: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26
6) I Am the way, the truth, and the life: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6
7) I Am the true vine: “I am the TRUE vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard.
John 15:1
8)”Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”
John 8:58
In John 8 we read truths in Jesus situation. Jesus did three key things when he was faced with conflict in the Bible: He prayed to His Father and he stayed defined and connected. All Jesus enemies were frustrated and exasperated. They were unable to make Jesus look bad, and even more had believed on Him. When the three truths are grasped all together we see the glory of God in Christ Jesus, and we understand that he is the only answer to our enormous need. Jesus did three key things when he was faced with conflict in the Bible: These three steps we can do also in our everyday living, knowing who loves us unconditionally. Let’s read John 8:21-30 Once more Jesus said to them, “I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come.” This made the Jews ask, “Will he kill himself? Is that why he says, ‘Where I go, you cannot come’?” But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.” “Who are you?” they asked. “Just what I have been telling you from the beginning,” Jesus replied. “I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is trustworthy, and what I have heard from him I tell the world.” They did not understand that he was telling them about his Father. So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.” Even as he spoke, many believed in him. {Let’s Pray} Father God, this is a impressive teaching, and it breaks my heart and my soul that there are many, like the proud Pharisees, who reject Your offer of salvation. It breaks my heart to know that there are still foolish and froward people, who like the leaders of the Jews, refuse to open their eyes and ears to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Soften the hearts of all men and women alike, so that they may recognize Jesus Christ as Savior, and place their trust in His sacrificial work at Calvary. I believe You will use me, to spread the good news to unsaved people, so that they may hear, know from their heart You answer their prayers and turn to You an believe and not die in their sins, but to be saved by grace and show them there is room to change and grow through faith in Jesus Christ, our God, our Savior and His freedom in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
{Power Verse} There is no wisdom, no understanding, no counsel that can prevail against the LORD. Proverbs 21:30
Let’s Pray; Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today. I thank You in Jesus Precious Name Amen. The God of the unexpected works through our weaknesses, leads us to appreciate someone we previously disliked or distrusted, and surprises us with gifts from unexpected sources. What a joy it is to serve Him! I used to work for Margaret Powers and I would take out her trash. The silver trash cans with covers. Sometimes I would drop the cover and it would roll in the next yard. This lady would yell at me and I would apologize. Then it got so when she would see me she would just yell at me for nothing and Margaret Powers told me to just ignore her. So I did. Then one day that lady was sick and she called me over. I didn’t know if I should walk in her yard or talk to her. So I ignored her and went in The hallway of Margaret’s and rung her bell. Margret rung the bell and let me in. Then Margaret said Susan can you go next door to Carol’s and go to the store for her. I was like who is Carol? Margret said the lady I told you to ignore. Margret told me she was sick and she had called her and asked her if I could go to the store for her. So I did. So as I got to know Miss Carol I found out she wasn’t as mean as she made her self to be. In fact I found out she worked with my mom in a shoe shop. My mom was happy she was able to visit Miss Carol also. God works in mysterious ways. We are so blessed to know God’s goodness through or lives. Hosea 11:1-7 Proves God’s love to us. God’s discipline is as much a sign of His love as any of His mercy actions. When Israel were weak and helpless as children, foolish and froward as children, then God loved them; he bore them as the nurse does the sucking child, nourished them, and suffered their manners. All who are grown up, ought often to reflect upon the goodness of God to them in their childhood. Loving parental discipline is the key to understanding God’s actions and guidelines to sinful mankind, who are in the process of destroying themselves in the freedom and knowledge of the tree of good and evil.
Let’s read Hosea 11:1-7: When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images. I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them. I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them. He shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return. And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels. And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him. {Let’s Pray} Father God, I thank You and praise You for the amazing story of Hosea, all though I only shared a few verses I hope who ever reads this will continue reading this chapter. Thank You for the Judah’s example of ruling with You Lord, in everything and being faithful to all the saints. Whose life became such a beautiful picture of Your love for Israel and such a wonderful comfort for all Your children. I thank You and praise You that You are a faithful God, and that in Your mercy You have done all that is necessary for me to be forgiven of my sins, past, present and future through Jesus Christ. I thank You and praise You that by grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone, I am eternally Yours. I thank You and praise You that nothing can separate us from Your love, and that no one can pluck us out of Your hands. Let my calling be a light that never ever goes out. Keep me faithful and humble in You. I Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
{Power Verse} Because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
