“Testimonies Of Jesus”

{Let’s Pray}
Father God I am believing for this message to open eyes, ears and hearts that will learn from You and Your word what You have for them this day and everyday in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
“Testimonies About Jesus – “If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true. There is another who testifies in my favor, and I know that his testimony about me is true.”
When I moved in this new apartment back east. I couldn’t cook on my stove cause the flame would not pop up on the stove. I could smell gas also I told my landlord and he just ignored it as nothing. So weeks went by and I was sick to my stomach. Went to the doctor he said it is just normal to feel sick a woman like you having twins. So he is just seeing from his perspective. I prayed God would guide someone to assist me. It was the gas making me sick. It was different from before I moved into the apartment. My mom called me on the phone. I talked with my mom, about the gas smell and she said do you have a gas stove. I said yes, but it won’t light and I can’t cook nothing. I used a electric frying pan someone gave me. She said go over by the stove and take a whiff and see if the smell is stronger. So I did. The smell of gas was stronger. So she told me call the gas Company and let them know about this. “So my mom knows me fully and was able to touch base and help me out.” So I called the gas Company. The gas company came out and checked and worked everything out. He fixed a broken pipe. He said good thing you didn’t light a match the whole house would of blown up. Wow! I didn’t know. He also let me know it was safe to use. The burners even worked. Just saying. I learned a lot that day and thank God, He answered my prayer and thank God for my mom. I could of just kept being sick and trusted in a landlord that didn’t care, and who did know what that gas could of done to everyone in those apartments. This is how God works in and through us to others. All His works are guided and finished. God does not lose His temper, treat us unfairly, or allow us to suffer anything that is not for our ultimate good (Romans 8:28). Rather, God’s discipline comes from His great love for us. It is a token of His adoption of us as children. Jesus made it clear in the Gospel of John that his disciples would have trouble in this life. All of God’s children can expect the same thing: These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. I have found stopping and just thinking about what heaven will be like can completely change my perspective. I like to look at the clouds and watch the art work, or even watch the waves in the ocean and seeing God’s handy work moving. Moving in my life or working in others lives. So unique. I could even imagine what Heaven looks like. The peace I see everyday is breathless. I look back at when I grew up I didn’t have the peace that I have now. We all have to learn. Jesus has a power that can not be denied by anyone. With God all things are possible, Matthew 19:26. Without God, our existence would be hopeless since He is “ the God of hope ” (Romans 15:13). Existence without God is Hell; I am not using the term Hell as many do. It is often used thoughtless to describe anything that is even remotely unpleasant.
What does John 5:31 mean? [If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.] According to Jewish legal procedure, a person could not testify alone on their own behalf—a creative liar could make up just about anything. Nor could a single witness establish facts. Rather, in a courtroom setting, two or three witnesses were required ( It reads in Deuteronomy 17:6; On the testimony of two or three witnesses a person is to be put to death, but no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness. It also reads in Numbers 35:30; Whoever kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the testimony of witnesses; but one witness is not sufficient testimony against a person for the death penalty.) But, there is a record of thousands of Jewish Believers in the promised Messiah of Israel, and they took the Gospel around the world. The Bible attests to what some refer to as a Jewish Christianity in which Jewish People believe in Yeshua (Jesus) as the promised Messiah of the Hebrew Scriptures. So, although it is true that God predestined the rejection of Jesus by all except a remnant of Israel – so that the gospel could go out to Gentiles [It reads in Romans 11:2: “God hath not rejected that part of his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says about Elijah, how he appealed to God against Israel: “: Speaking after the manner of men. For, in fact, knowing and foreknowing are the same thing with God, who knows or sees all things at once, from everlasting to everlasting. ] it is also true that individuals are not absolved of responsibility to accept the Truth [ It reads in Acts 7:51; “Ye stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost! As your fathers did, so do ye! ]. God did not reject His people, whom He foreknew.
John Chapter 5:31-47
If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that bears witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnessed of me is true. Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth. But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. I receive not honor from men. But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, which receive honor one of another, and seek not the honor that cometh from God only? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You for the inspired scriptures, which point us to Jesus. Assist me to do only the right stuff that is pleasing to You so that in all things I am enabled to say without fear and failure , Your will Lord, not mine be done. I thank You and praise You that You work through others to bring Your Salvation and unity to eternal life. I thank You and praise You that You have convicted us of our sin, given us the freedom to choose, Jesus for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. There are many today who reject the truth of Scripture and the testimony that You are the eternal Son of God. Who came to earth to die for the sin of the whole world. I believe You will convict many hearts today of their need of You, before it is too late, You will bring many into the kingdom for Your honor and glory, In Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Life Through Jesus”

{Let’s Pray: Father God, let this message touch hearts today and open our minds and hearts to Your word and truth’s. We all were created in Your mind, a holy Thought that never left its home. we are forever Your Effect, and You forever and forever are our Cause. As You created us, we have remained. Miracles are You. Righteousness is You. Your Love is Power! In Jesus Precious Name Amen.}
Trinitarian text – a text that provides materials with which to help construct the Bible’s doctrine of one living and true God who exists eternally in three separate persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Therefore, did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these miracles on the sabbath day. In the book of John 5:16-30 the Lord’s words are a bold stroke. If Jesus wants to avoid trouble with the Jews, this is the time for Him to deny, to “clarify,” or to minimize, His previous claim to be equal with God. Instead, He makes His claim even more emphatically. When you take a closer look at this reading the text carefully, Jesus, words put the Jewish authorities on the defensive. They are the ones who should be unease, not our Lord Jesus. This text Lord Jesus willingly with boldness claims to be the Son of God, equal with God, and having full authority to act like His Father. God is life so the Father God has life in Himself, so undeniably He gave Jesus’ life in Himself. Like some people at Christmas will get mad if I write in the Christmas card God bless you. Then get mad on Christmas at me for putting God bless you in their card. I say I can’t keep up with this because I have so much, I do during Christmas. To tell you the truth. Jesus is the reason for the season, so I’ve done nothing wrong. I say just through the card away. I keep praying for them no matter what, that God will send someone to encourage them and lift their spirit with Yours and bless them. Some people believe in Christmas, but don’t believe in Christ. In a confident and courageous way, showing a willingness to take risks. Jesus took risks because He is God. This is why God came in human form so we would believe. The only way this could be true of both is if they are one and the same. In these verses the Bible makes a convincing case for the fact that Jesus is God in human form, so let’s move on to some of the questions people get asked by those who don’t believe it. Question: Why didn’t God simply say, “I will come and give myself for you as redemption?” Remember this verse: John 1:14 says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” In this verse, John is communicating that Jesus (the Word) is the entire message, the complete message, God wanted to send to earth. Remember this verse. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This is one of the great texts in the Gospel of John and in the entire New Testament. The truths set down here in these verses are the very foundation of the gospel and of our faith. Let us listen well, for they are words that our Lord indicates we should hear and heed.
Let’s read John chapter 5:16-30:
And therefore, did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore, the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raises up the dead and quickened them; even so the Son quickened whom he will. For the Father judges no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honored not the Son honored not the Father which hath sent him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You for Your amazing plan of salvation to save all sinners, so we all walk right with You. I thank You for sending the Jesus to become the perfect Son of Man, who has become the life-giving Spirit to all who would believe on Jesus Christ. I thank You and praise You, that all judgement is in His hands. Father, without Your amazing plan of redemption, I would still be dead in sins and lost without You. I thank You and praise You, that by faith in Jesus, my sins are forgiven, and I have eternal life as a free gift of grace. Thank You, that I am no longer part of the old creation in Adam but have become part of the new creation in Christ. I believe that many whose eyes are blinded to this truth would find their hope, faith and trust in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Jesus Healing At The Pool”

{Father God let this reading touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.}
During Jesus’ time, the Pool of Bethesda lay outside the city walls. It was at this pool that Jesus performed a miracle showing that He is greater than any human malady and that superstition and religious folklore are foolish and feeble substitutes for faith in God. Also Know, what was the Pool of Siloam used for? Because the pool is fed by waters from the Gihon Spring, located in the Kidron Valley, the naturally flowing spring water would have qualified the pool for use as a “Mikveh” for ritual Jewish bathing. So, in John 5:1–15 shows Jesus healing a man who had been crippled for thirty-eight years. This is the third of John’s seven ”signs” of Christ. Interestingly, the crippled man expresses no prior knowledge of Jesus, nor any overwhelming desire to be healed. Jesus restores the man, then tells him to walk. A Healing and a Discourse. Jesus heals this man at the pool of Bethesda. After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. It has been confirmed by much modern scholarship that this miracle of Jesus happened at the Pool of Bethesda as is named in scripture. We see that this pool was near the Sheep Gate, a site which is mentioned in {Nehemiah 3:1-2 it reads: (KJV) Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel. And next unto him builded the men of Jericho.} and {Nehemiah 12:39: it reads: over the Gate of Ephraim, the Jeshanah Gate, the Fish Gate, the Tower of Hananel and the Tower of the Hundred, as far as the Sheep Gate. At the Gate of the Guard, they stopped.}
Let’s read John chapter 5:1-15
After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another stepped down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, it is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, take up thy bed, and walk. Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk? And he that was healed Wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.

Father God, I thank You and praise You for the many miracles of healing that Jesus did through You and the many lessons that You teach us through Your Word. Assist me to keep my focus on Jesus and not become too preoccupied with my own troubles and difficulties which can lure my mind and cause me to dwell on my present troubles, rather than on my faith and future hope. Keep me to be aware of Your leading and ready to listen to Your voice, in every situation of life. I thank You and praise You for Your amazing grace. I thank You and praise You that through faith in Jesus I have not only been forgiven of my sins, but I have been given all I need for life, freedom and godliness. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Father God, I thank You and praise You for Your Word and the wonderful lessons that it contains. I thank You that there is no one that is beyond Your grace.. and that salvation is available to all who will hear and receive the truth of the glorious gospel of grace. Let Your message in John chapter 4 touch someones heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“He had to travel through Samaria;” Context Summary John 4:1–4 explains Jesus’ decision to travel away from Jerusalem, heading back towards Galilee. The primary reason for this is to avoid conflict with the Pharisees, at least for now. John observes that Jesus is “tired from the journey” (4:5). Though John is very clear that Jesus is the Son of God, even “God the One and Only” who is at the Father’s side, yet in his physical body, Jesus becomes tired like everyone else. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. What a beautiful truth it is… to know that God is love and that the love that we are called to manifest in our lives, has its source in the divine love of God. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This phrase normally referred to flowing water from a river or stream, as opposed to standing water from a pond or well. But Jesus uses the word ambiguously (as is common in John’s Gospel), giving the word a deeper meaning, water that imparts life, and, as we see in verse 14, a gift that imparts eternal life. so, refreshing! The prior verses are meant to be both comforting and challenging to Christians. In a physical field, it is not uncommon for one person to plant the seeds, while another eventually harvests the finished goods. Harvest is a time of joy, and so the work of the harvester tends to get more glory. “Jesus told him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will not believe.”” John 4:46–54 records the second of Jesus’ seven miracles in the gospel of John. The primary point of this miracle is the importance of biblical ”faith,” which is really ”trust.” This miracle symbolized nothing less than the Mission of the Messiah; changing the empty way of man’s religion into a living, joyful, relationship with the Lord, as demonstrated by the wedding celebration. (You can read more about this here.) Miracle 2: Healing the Official’s Son (John 4:43-54) Here’s an act of God’s Grace, pure and simple.
{Let’s Read John chapter 4:1-54}
“Jesus talks with a Samaritan woman.”
When therefore the LORD knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. And he must needs go through Samaria. Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus, therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. There is cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, how is it that thou, being a Jew, asks drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said unto her, if thou knew the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, give me to drink; thou would have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, thou hast well said, I have no husband: For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that said thou truly. The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
“The Disciples rejoin Jesus.”
And upon this came his disciples, and marveled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, what seek thou? or, why talk thou with her? The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? Then they went out of the city and came unto him. In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Therefore, said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? Jesus saith unto them, my meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Say not yet, there are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that repeat receives wages and gathered fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reaps may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, one soweth, and another reaps. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men labored, and ye are entered into their labors.
“Many of the Samaritan’s believe.”
And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. So, when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. And many more believed because of his own word; And said unto the woman, now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
“Jesus heals the Official’s son.”
Now after two days he departed thence and went into Galilee. For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honor in his own country. Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilean’s received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast. So, Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. Then said Jesus unto him, except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. Jesus saith unto him, go thy way; thy son lives. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son lives. Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. So, the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, thy son lived: and himself believed, and his whole house. This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You for this awesome story of this Samaritan woman and the lovely way that Jesus opened-up the scriptures to her in order to reveal to her His person and work. I wish I had His insight to speak with others and encourage those who end up in a crutch like form in their life and have no idea they can turn directly to You in all things. I thank You and praise You for the people in my life that have testified of Your grace and goodness and pointed me to Jesus Christ. Assist me not to idolize them and found my faith on them and what they say, but on Jesus Christ, the Word of Truth, who is the only sure foundation that stands on faith. Give me wisdom and give the ability to judge well in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Jesus teaches Nicodemus and Offers Eternal Life”

{Let’s Pray}
Father God, let John Chapter 3 touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

(Book Summary)
Chapter Context The gospel of John is meant to prove that Jesus is God. Chapter 3 contains some of the most direct, most important concepts in Christianity. The ideas of spiritual rebirth, and the need to believe in Christ, are reinforced by the rest of the information in this gospel. John 3:3 Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Jesus Has Overcome the World. History has shown that those who have a hope of heaven are far more likely than their agnostic neighbors to willingly make the personal sacrifices necessary to seriously address the horrors and hopelessness in the world. And the Bible doesn’t gloss over the horrors. Reading the whole Bible through, we draw back a lot.
“John 3:16 is one of the most widely quoted verses from the Bible. It has also been called the “Gospel in a nutshell”, because it is considered a summary of the central theme of traditional Christianity.
Let’s read: John Chapter 3:1-36
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou does, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, how can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knows not these things? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, we speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hates the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judea; and there he tarried with them and baptized. And John also was baptizing in Ænon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came and were baptized. For John was not yet cast into prison. Then there arose a question between some of John’s disciples and the Jews about purifying. And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptized, and all men come to him. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which stands and heareth him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease. He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifies; and no man receives his testimony. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.

Father God, I thank You, praise You and give You the glory that there is no one who truly seeks to know the truth of Who You are that will be denied that knowledge. I thank You and praise You that the truth of Who You are is recorded in Your holy Word. Open my eyes to see and my ears to hear the wonderful things contained in Your Word and may I grow in grace and in a knowledge of my Savior Jesus Christ, that You loved the world so much that You came to die for all people, who simply trust in You for Salvation. I believe that like Nicodemus I may have a teachable spirit and be prepared to come to You with all my needs and questions and not trust in my own understanding. Always knowing that You not only have the answer but that You are the answer to all I seek in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Jesus Changes Water To Wine and Clears The Temple”

{Let’s pray: Father God, let this message touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.}
The second chapter of John covers two events. The first is the miracle of turning water into wine. The second is Jesus’ driving the moneylenders out of the temple complex. A common theme of the gospel of John is contrast, and the two stories in this chapter are very different. One is joyful and quiet. The other is discipline action. rebuking and public. The miracle at the wedding is the first of seven “signs” that John uses to prove that Jesus is God. The changing of water into wine was also a powerful symbol of Jesus’ purpose. The six water jugs were used for purification from sin. Six is the biblical number of men, and of imperfection. Wine is symbolic of blood. The miracle’s meaning was as much about Jesus replacing ritual purification with divine blood as anything else. So far as we know, no one except a few of the disciples, Jesus’ mother Mary, and the servants even knew it happened. John’s gospel is the only one that records this miracle.
John Chapter 2:1-25
And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, they have no wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. His mother saith unto the servants, whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, and saith unto him, every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him. After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days. And the Jews’ Passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise. And his disciples remembered that it was written, the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. Then answered the Jews and said unto him, what sign shows thou unto us, seeing that thou do these things? Jesus answered and said unto them, destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spoke of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
{Let’s Pray}

Give me a deeper and heart felt understanding of all that Your death and resurrection achieved. Assist me to keep my eyes looking to Jesus and pointing others away from myself to Him for all I say and do. Give me a right understanding of Who You truly are. “The Lord Brought Rich Blessings”

{let’s Pray:
Father God, I worship and praise Your holy name for Your wonderful plan of salvation. I thank You and praise You for sending Jesus, the Word, who was with the You Lord, before the world began. Jesus in human flesh, so that a sinner such as I may be redeemed by His precious blood. I thank You and praise You for Your forgiveness of sins and that You give us the freedom to walk and do right. I hope this message touches someone’s heart and mine. I thank You, in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
First John. Author and Date. It was probably written from Ephesus, 80 or 85 A. D. though some put it as early as A. D.69, while others put it as late as A. D.95. The author nowhere indicates his name, but through all the centuries it has been attributed to John, the beloved disciple. For information concerning him.
The beginning of Genesis 1:1 is simple: In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The beginning of John 1:1 is profound: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John takes us back to this time in eternity past, to meet this One which was from the beginning.
John used this concept of logos or “word” as a divine reference to introduce Jesus as divine. The view that Jesus is divine as the Word is explained in many ways in John Ch 1:1. In the first verse, Jesus is called God with the phrase “and the word was God.”. In verse 2, John notes, “He was in the beginning with God.”. (John 1:36) Christ Jesus, as the sacrificial lamb, is significant. The blood of the Lamb of God brings us back into fellowship with God the Father. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice. The spotless lamb, Jesus was fully God and fully man and did not sin. God made a way for the sacrifice required to forgive sin to be atoned for eternally.
Let’s read John 1:1-51:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lights every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, this was he of whom I spoke, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. And they asked him, and said unto him, why baptizes thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose. These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, after me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizes with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. Again, the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, what seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour. One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first finds his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, we have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and finds Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me. Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, we have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathanael said unto him, can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! Nathanael saith unto him, whence knows thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, before that Philip called thee, when thou were under the fig tree, I saw thee. Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believes thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

What happiness for those whose guilt is forgiven? What joys when sins are covered over. What relief for those who have confessed their sins and God has cleared their record.

“”Children Are a Blessing from God””

(Deuteronomy 7:14-15 it reads: Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou know, upon thee; but will lay them upon all of them that hate thee.).
When parents find out they are going to have a baby, or are ready to adopt, they usually prepare a special room for their new child with everything the child needs to be comfortable. Do you know of a baby who has a special room? Talk about what people put in a baby’s room. Two faithful young Jewish people, Mary and Joseph, were chosen to be the earthly parents of God’s Son, Jesus.
It reads in Matthew 1:18-25:
Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.
It reads in Matthew 2:1–12:
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him; and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet: ‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel. Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and as certain from them what time the star had appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, “Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.” After listening to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. And being warned win a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.
It reads in Luke 1:26–38
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled at the saying and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most Highest. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore, the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
At the time of Mary’s pregnancy, a decree by Caesar Augustus went out that “all the world should be registered” (Luke 2:1-In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world.). This meant that every person in the Roman Territory was required to return to the city of their ancestors to be counted in a census.

{Let’s Pray: Father God, I thank You that You are indeed a wonderful covenant-keeping God and I want to know and love You more and more each day. I thank You and Praise Your name for Your faithful promises in Your word of Truth. Thank You and praise You that You sent Jesus in Your image. Thank You for all blessings and faith of overcoming all sin by Your strength, power and healing. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Lord, with all my heart I thank You. I will sing Your praises before the armies of angels in heaven. Psalm 138:1

“God Is With Us”

Matthew was a tax collector in Capernaum before he was called by Jesus Christ to be a disciple. He was also called Levi. And he opens his gospel by giving to us the genealogy of Jesus Christ back to Abraham] “Matthew, designing to show that Jesus was the Messiah, began his genealogy at Abraham, to whom the promise was originally made, that in his seed all the families of the earth should be blessed. So, all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
Let’s read: Matthew 1:17-25: So, all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded putting her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You for the gift of Your Son and the unfolding of Your eternal plan of salvation. Your perfect plan started as a tiny seed in the woman, travelling through time until He was born as a little baby in Bethlehem. I thank You and praise You that You loved us so much that You sent Your only begotten Son to be born of a virgin, to become our Savior of means of His experienced death and resurrection. I thank You that He died for me and rose again so that I could have His resurrected life in me. I thank You and praise You for the Bible and for the truth that it contains. I believe I will draw closer to You day by day and grow in grace. and in a knowledge of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing your praise.
Psalm 138:1

“If I was God”

If I was God,

No one believed in me.

I would create in me a new body,

Just so wonderful that all my creation can see.

I would lay in a cradle and be embraced by my mom.

I would cry, smile, laugh and love those who would embrace me.

I would grow in righteousness for all to see and follow me.

I would love the sinner as much as me.

I would pray for those hurting, suffering and in pain.

I would strengthen their mind to heal always.

I would give them the power to overcome.

I would give them the joy to give and give to everyone.

I would give them the love that they have given to me.

Then I would give them more light so they can endure this world,

Till they reach me in eternity.

{Let’s Pray}

Father God, I thank You and praise You that You are the Lord Jesus, and I am not. I thank You and praise You that Your Word is true, straight forward, promises are kept, and You are my Deliverer in this world of sin and evil. Let me fix my eyes on Jesus, Your living Word and my glorious Redeemer. Let me embrace the love that You have for others and myself. When my mind is tempted to stray from You, I believe that I will call to remembrance all that You are and all that You have done for me. Let me always be the light of Christ and forgive sinners as You have forgiven me. Keep my heart open to hear what you would have me say and do. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You ll the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.
