“New Home”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
It reads in 2nd Corinthians 5:1; Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in Heaven, not built by human hands.

God only gave us these tents (body’s) to take care of for Him. They are a temporary shield. But only God can protect us.
I love it when I go out and do some errand’s. Then when I am done, I long to be home. Where I can relax, make jewelry, sew, do housework or work with photos I took when I was running errands. It feels so good to kick my shoes off and put on my sandals. There is no place like being at home. Our self confidence in what we do each day gives us the faith to get all that we need to be done. So, when I was running errands with my husband yesterday. I wanted to go to the HEB in Magnolia, because we were almost there. He said if there is a line like last time, I am not stopping. So, I said to God in my heart. Father God, please don’t let there be a long line so we can go to this HEB in Jesus Precious Name Amen. Well, we got down to the light and there was only one person in line. Walt said, guess we are going to this one. I said out loud thank You Jesus! My husband just smiled.
It reads in 2nd Corinthians 5:7-10; We live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So, we make it our goal to please Him, weather we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
It reads in 2nd Corinthians 5:5; He puts a little taste of Heaven in our hearts so that we will never settle for less.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You for making each one of us unique. Let me have a deeper understanding and appreciation of others. Let me honor and value our similarities and differences. I thank You and praise You for preparing a place for us to share that home with You one day. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

{Power Verse}
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Mathew 5:12

“Thrive Like A Green Leaf”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

You ever see two dogs fighting over a hot dog in an alley way? I have. I used to walk everywhere I went. Laundry mat, school, work, shopping and church. I would see children fighting. People walking on. Car’s speeding. People honking their horns. Like they never seen a woman walk down the street before. Especially a mother duck and her four children. Lo! Moved to Texas and people thought you walk on the street you were trash. I walked to church every week with my children and people would make in front of us. You had to have a car to live in Texas. People say: why don’t you have a car. I hated walking to work every day. I hated Texas! If it wasn’t for the people at church that showed their compassion and kindness. I would have gone back east. But I had to walk. Otherwise, my children would have no roof over their heads or food in their stomach. I remember getting a 10-speed bike from good will for $10.00 in 1994. That afternoon I rode to the Albertson’s groceries and got diapers for my niece, milk and a few bags of stuff we needed and as I rode almost halfway home, I stopped in the gas station to take a break and talk to my friend that worked there. He used to go to the college with me. Well, he let me use his car to take the stuff home. Thank God for him. I left my bike. Then I took and brought his car back after I dropped off the stuff. Well, it was dark, and I proceeded up Silverdale as I was riding my bike. A motorcycle driver with a passenger grabbed the handle of my bike and was dragging my bike with him. I turned away and them pushed towards him as I did that, I fell off the bike, but my hand was caught up in my purse and he was dragging me on the cement and my bike. I managed to get my hand free from my purse and fell to the ground still screaming. A lady that lived across the street went in the house to call the police. I made my way to the side of the road. I pulled myself together and got up limping on my way home. I found my bike and my purse on the side of the road. Then I heard a motorcycle and ditched into the bushes. I waited till no one was around and proceeded home. People just don’t know the pain they can cause, and they think they are having fun. But it was no fun to me! I didn’t deserve what they did to me. I didn’t suffer alone. God suffered with me. Thing is I thought this 10-speed bike was my new wheels and they Motorbike driver reminded me having better is not what it is all cracked up to be. There will always be evil people like those two on that motorcycle around if they don’t know Jesus. I should have just walked. I am sure God took care of them in His way. Those two needed Jesus. There is a lot of unfairnesses in this world. Just as there was back when Jesus suffered for us. I have come to learn of many people who drive motorcycles are for the poor and powerless. Not all people who drive a motorcycle are like those two evil ones. I have seen guys and gals on motorcycles raise money for non-profit. They are my brothers and sisters in Christ. I am very proud of them. Even Pastors drive motorcycles. So, when someone does evil it is them committing a crime. Not the State of Texas or anyone else. I am proud to be a Yankee Texan.
In 1 Timothy 6:6-10 it reads: But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

We watch our loved ones suffer, through poverty and work with them to bring them out of poverty. Then when they’re on their own. If it isn’t others using them or illness covering them. You say my hands are tied. No way! I can’t do it! Yes, we together can. These hands are to lift up to God! Being on the knees asking God to heal their situation’s. Guide others in their lives to encourage them and bless them as they bless them back. Praying for each other knowing God is skin close costs nothing. God gifts us with everything so we can thrive, advance, prosper and bloom.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory for all You have done in my life. I know there are many things that could displace the Lord Jesus from His rightful position in my heart. Like anger of others who have hurt me and made me suffer. I have forgiven, but it is hard to forget. To overcome is a blessing. I know the love of money is one that can cause much distress, destruction and loss in lives. Riches need to be of authority of Christ. Assist me to ask and use the money that I have wisely and help me to always consider money and my possessions as my servant and not my master. Take my life, together with all that I own for Your greater glory, and let it be consecrated to You. I want to fight the good fight of faith, hope and love knowing there is victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil, has already been won by Jesus Christ. I am believing to face every challenge of my life in Your strength and to Your glory from this day forth as I worship You from my mind my heart will heal from the inside out and thrive. Let me trust You and have the power, strength and Your will to work in my path in big ways. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

{Prayer}
Those who trust in their riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf. Proverbs 11:28

“God’s Green Thumb”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

It reads in 1 Corinthians 3:7; So, neither he who plants, nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. So, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters are anything, but only God, who makes things grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.

So back to the elderly. People I went to the store for and did their laundry or chores around their homes. I tell you that Mrs. Gleason liked Majesty Palms in her house. She crocheted and she had two cats. Ataboy and inky. Ataboy fell from the third story window and had surgery and survived. Inky was all black cats. They were both friendly. Mrs. Gleason loved Jesus.

There was Mrs. Fuller she liked looking out the window at the flowers and everyone who walked by. She would wave to people also. She did like to crochet. She didn’t have no animals. Mrs. Fuller loved Jesus.

There was Mrs. Webster. She was old fashion. Didn’t believe in laundry mats. She would sit in her window also. She liked cactus. She knitted scarfs, sweaters and blankets and gave them to charity. She was old fashion and didn’t believe in going to the doctors, nor was she ever married. Mrs. Webster loved Jesus.

Mrs. Grandmaison, she had plants everywhere even on the outside that I helped take care of. I learned a lot about having a green thumb and trimming rose bushes and taken care of them. Mrs. Grandmaison loved Jesus.

Miss Margret Powers. I would go to the store for her, and she would crochet and knit. She worked a job. I would go to the store for her in the evening and on the weekends. Margret Loved Jesus.

This is just a few of the people I worked for in my lifetime. But God always puts me in people’s life’s that love Jesus. Then there has been some that didn’t know Jesus. Then there was some that refused to know Jesus. Their choice. Joy doesn’t spring from life of comfort, ease. Like a spider plant reminds me of Jesus. The spider plant over time moves weeds that don’t belong in the spider plant garden out! I call those other weeds self-pity because they don’t survive. Spider plants have baby’s spider plants growing on the top of the spider plant and they spread out and set themselves in the ground and grow more. I come along and dig them up and move them to another place and put some back in the garden to grow more. Spider plants can also be placed in a hanging basket to hang with the babies.

{Lets Pray}

Father God, I thank You and praise You for the spider plants that work as Your church family weeding out the self-pity weeds. The spider plants are strong and keep growing and are able to be moved further to grow more strong plants. I thank You and praise You that You are my Lord and Savior. I thank You and praise You for the grace You have shown to me and to all who trust in Jesus Christ for their salvation. I believe for Your people, that many would repent and turn to Jesus by trusting in His blood for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. Let them spring up with Your nurturing word and watering truth to spread Your precious seed to others who don’t know You. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

{Power Verse}

But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. Matthew 13:29

“Caring Intentionally”

Father God let this touch someone’s heart in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Caring is intentionally. On Feb 11, 2022, I had trimmed some of the Holly bushes. I took and cut the crepe myrtle down to about 9ft tall. I took the branches and root stimulator and placed each branch in a container of prepared soil. So today I went out to clean the weeds out of the containers. So, the other containers holly, Agaves, Yucca palms, Lillys, butterfly bush and the crepe myrtle branches. Wow they are starting to bloom. So, the branches are starting to bloom. So, the propagations worked! Yea! This means they took root. I was so excited. See this is how God is with working within our soul. If we keep our soul clean and we do what is right. We will bloom right by caring intentionally. You can always tell a person’s attitude on how well they take care of their plants Miss Katherine once told me. She was one of the elderly people I worked for. I get it now! Back then I didn’t. Whatever you care for is going to grow and bloom.

My husband yesterday I couldn’t understand my Ivy that was in a jar I painted had yellow leaves. They were green last week. So, I went to change the Ivy out and add fresh water. Well, I found a screw in the old water. I said to my husband I found your screw in my Ivy jar! He told me he just wanted to add iron. Hmm! Funny man!

It reads in Luke 14:13-14 But when you give a reception, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

Little things mean a lot. Someone mentioning good memories, even encourage you or just listening. God promises to be intentionally caring with us.

It reads in Isaiah 40:11; He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.

{Let’s Pray}

Father God, I thank You and praise You for teaching us to care intentionally. Let me care about others as You do. Maybe by praying or serving them in a way that shows I care. Being patient, caring and sincere. Thank You for changing lives for the better. Help me to care and share with others about the wonderful things You have done. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

{Power Verse}

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. 3 John 1:2

“Live And Love Again”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Someone we know has an illness that we think they will not overcome. We pray for them anyways and let it go. Go and see them to encourage them. We may of lost someone who was close to us, it feels like we will never get over this. Maybe someone lost a job and don’t know how they are going to get their next meal or pay to keep a roof over their head. Their world feels like there is no hope that everything is crumbling around them. Friend don’t give up; cause God will never give up on you.

It reads in Psalm 71:20-22; Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth, you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once more. I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God; I will sing praise to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel.

God will comfort, give peace and guide others in your life who really care about what you are going through. God invites us to stay close to Him in everything. The grace of God we will have the opportunity to live again. We will have a crown one day to cast down at God’s throne. For now, we have hope and faith that God will never fail his people. As long as we live, we must continue to make plans for everyday life but remember we must plan for our permanent eternal home. This permanent home will have no more pain, suffering or despair. It reads in Luke 12:16; of the parable of the rich man, he had so many riches that he didn’t know what to do. He asked himself what he should do with his riches. He decided to build greater bonds. But he should’ve concentrated on building his soul instead. God wants us to know that in this parable we cannot store up what we have but to give to someone else. Pray for others, comfort them in their sufferings and put your light into action.

{Let’s Pray}

Father God, I thank You and praise You for Your church family. When my dreams feel like they are damaged there seems to be no return. Give me the comfort, courage, strength and peace that You promised to all who put their trust in You. Guide others who don’t know You to Your gift of Salvation so they can be our family members in eternity. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

{Power Verse}

Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.

John 16:20

“Staying On Tract””

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

The Lord expects us to give Him our full attention. We can give our sins to Him to forgive us. We can be good stewards when we know that everything is a gift from God.

It reads in Hebrews 12:9–10; We have all had fathers here on earth who disciplined us, and we respected them. So, it is even more important that we accept discipline from the Father of our spirits so we will have life. Our fathers on earth disciplined us for a short time in the way they thought was best.

We can learn to give and learn to feel joy in God’s goodness. As we don’t give up on God and we keep being Thank you Full and Walking in His light.

When we see a family who goes to church, and they could be your neighbors. You see them each day and they are holding on to up righteousness in Christ. They are being a light and guiding other by doing right. We can take a plan of action to do what is right. Like going to school, studying, learning and not giving up. We achieve the goals we set out to do.
It reads in Psalm 41:12; Because of my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever.

{Let’s Pray}

Father God, I thank You and praise You for leading me this far. Show in me anything that is not of You. I want my life to be so close to You and be able to pass Your light to others. I submit my life to You completely. I thank You and praise You for the work You do in me. Help me to carry it out to the day of Jesus Christ in His Precious Name Amen.

{Power Verse}

The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Proverbs 11:3

“God Directs Rightly”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
It reads in Isaiah 30:15;”For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.”.
‘Woe to the Obstinate Nation’. In this passage the Jews are compared to obstinate and rebellious children, and they are rebuked for constantly looking elsewhere for the answer to their problems, other than to God. Today, people are just as obstinate when they face problems, preferring instead to attempt to find their own solutions rather than taking the problem to God and following what He says. Unsealing the sealed Book of Isaiah overturns the learning of academics and exposes spiritual error. At Jehovah’s coming the rebellious suffer destruction but those who prove loyal enjoy deliverance. Those who trust in Egypt’s military might rely on an arm of flesh as Jehovah alone is all-powerful.
When we repent and return to God, we will have peace and not fear. When we turn to God in confidence, He will be our strength. As we have faith and wait in God’s presence. We will learn of His guidance on our lives.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You that we can be repenting of sins and abide in You we can rest in Your love and to trust in Your strength in peace and confidence. For You alone are my rock and encouragement. I thank You and praise You that You are my Provider and my Defender. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:6

“Stay Close To God”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
It reads in Matthew 5:44-46; But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
If you are in a relationship with another human being and you want to spend the rest of your life with them. You have to make sacrifices. As well as the other person. Now if you stay close to God in everything you say and do. You will learn to stay close to God and include Him in all you do. If you are having problems with your significant other let God know! He wants you to confide in Him always. Our significant others have their reasoning or arguments. It is up to us to ask God to figure this out for us.

God’s greatest expression of HIs love is communicated to us in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Romans 5:8 proclaims His greatest message: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” We can see from these verses that it is God’s greatest desire that we join Him in His eternal communication, home and heaven. He has made the way possible by paying the price for our sins. He loves us because He chose to as an act of His will. Love forgives. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” 1 John 1:9. Jesus words that the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me” John 14:31. In love, Jesus is always looking out for the interests of others. God will make all things work for His glory and your good. All God ever wanted for us to do our best.
Seek Refuge in God “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”2 Samuel 22:2-4

{Let’s Pray}
Father God, whenever I am wanting to give up on my significant other, remind me how You have never given up on me. Whenever I am persecuted or harassed because of my faith in Your presence and promises. Guide me to react in kindness, respect, compassion and Your love. Remind me of the glorious future I still have in You. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, I have Your strength, comfort and peace. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

{Power Verse}
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 2 Corinthians 4:17

“Humble Lived Leadership”

Father God let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

A humble leader is secure enough to recognize his or her weaknesses and to seek the input and talents of others. By being receptive to outside ideas and assistance, creative leaders open up new avenues for the organization, for their volunteers and employees. The two key points stressed here are: secure and recognize. A leader has a significant role when it comes to molding followers and creating new leaders. This does not suggest that humble leaders never struggle with insecurities but recognizes that humility is based in strength not weakness.

It reads in 1 Peter 5:1-5; To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them, not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,

“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
People may make in front of you because you do for others and help them. Or you may thank people for their kindness or because they have done something for you, or they have taught you to be a better person. Either way. Never be ashamed for doing good. This is what God expects of us. He wants you to do good. Be a blessing no matter what!
Psalm 86:7 reads “Every time I’m in trouble I call on you, confident that you’ll answer.” A good leader is confident in their relationship with Christ. They know that they can always rely on Him for everything.
Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. The only thing we can take to heaven with us is people. There is nothing more important than God’s people. I have always wanted to teach my children and grandchildren about Jesus Because my mom always talked about Jesus to those who would listen. Jesus came to this earth for the sinner, and He was for others. Even those who didn’t believe in Jesus. Jesus took two people with him. Faith comes easily to a child. I took my children to church and others with us also. I took my grandchildren to church. All I can do is let them know about Jesus. There is always someone even their own parents or friends will sway them away. I never have given up. I pray for them earnestly and also for godly people to influence their life with encouragement and Christ’s love and compassion. I know each one of them will lead. Lead others to Jesus. Through our words and our living example we will be given that privilege of leading them to Jesus. All honor and glory will be given to God through His children. I have openly made the Lord Jesus my life. Reading the bible and opportunities for the gifts He has given me to give away. The ocean reflects God’s character, so as we watch the rolls wave in know freedom flows out of righteousness through Christs work in us.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You that with sound, biblical doctrine that you will guide me to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ. Let each one of us grow in grace and in a knowledge of You. I am believing for all Your children to live humbly and walk care full. I thank You and praise You for the faithful pastors and elders in our churches who humbly care for the people in their congregations, as they gently guide Your congregation in their charge. I believe for all those who have been called to be the Leaders of Your people and believe that You would empower each one with the gifts and graces they need to minister to those You have placed in their charge. Keep them from developing an attitude of pride or superiority, and I am believing that they will all rejoice with the saints in heaven, when they receive their crown of glory that will not pass away. Help each one to pattern their life on praise, worship and Jesus Christ, and each one set a godly example to those in their care. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

{Power Verse}
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

2 Corinthians 13:11

“Reflecting Mercy”

Father God let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
It reads is Romans 5:7-11; For one will hardly die for a righteous man, though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
I know that we show mercy to our children most of the time. Except when we say no more. Then we are the worse parent ever because we want them to do for themselves. To some adult children or other family members. But hey! We were not meant to do it all for everybody. We were meant to take care of ourselves also. I love how those family members who work right alongside of you, and everything works out just fine. I had a friend from church that I saw on the side of the road needing assistance for her and her children. My heart just felt like it dropped. This was someone I see more than my own family. Church family is closer than most. Why? Because I see church family every week. In the olden days family went to church together. Just saying. I know I see someone on the side of the road needing help my heart don’t drop like wow that is my sister in Christ or brother in Christ. But I do help if I have the resources. It means showing undeserved forgiveness or kindness. Mercy is given by a person in authority, who is also often the one who has been wronged. To show mercy is to offer relief to someone in a miserable state. You know God I don’t have a switch of heart. I think God’s heart drops for all of us all the same. I think when a person denies God that is when His heart drops.
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Luke 1:50
And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation.
So even if people are not close, because they choose not to be for selfish reasons or they are close cause you know them and spend more time with them. We should show mercy to all. So that they can in turn learn to show mercy to others also.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You for Your mercy to Your Children. I believe even though I was dead in trespasses and sins and at enmity with You, I have been called by You and chosen to be a child of God and a joint heir with Christ. I thank You and praise You for Church family that are close to You. I thank You and praise You that I am washed in the blood by grace through faith in Jesus and have been made a new creation in Jesus Christ. I believe I will put on a heart of compassion, kindness, forgiveness, humility, gentleness and patience, so that Jesus Christ is all and all in my life in His Precious Name Amen.

{Power Verse}
Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Luke 6:36
