Father God, my mind is open to Your Thoughts, and closed today to every thought but Yours. I rule my mind, and offer it to You. Accept my precious gift, for it is Yours to me. Amen and Amen.

This is a story is about a little boy named Bobby. He was crossing one of our busiest streets. When a big vehicle came around the corner and knocked him down. He was badly injured, they rushed him to the hospital. In the emergency room there was a little boy named James who Bobby went to school with. Now James knew about Jesus. Bobby was in great pain, and it was feared that he would die. James said to Bobby; I have heard that someday after we die, Jesus will come and take us to Heaven where there is no more pain, and everyone is happy. At the mission they told us that you only have to ask Jesus and He will take you to Heaven with Him. But I couldn’t ask a big man like that, said Bobby. He wouldn’t listen to me.
“Oh, Yes He would,” said James, but you don’t have to ask Him. Just put your hand in the air, like we do at school, when He comes through the hospital. They say He comes through every evening when the lights are turned down. When the evening came, the nurse went around the ward and turned out some of the lights. I think it is nearly time said James. Put your hand up Bobby. Bobby tried to do so, but he was weak. He couldn’t manage it. Every time he tried to put his hand up, it fell down. James crept out of his bed, and with a pillow, he managed to prop up Bobby’s hand so that it wouldn’t fall down. “Thank you, James, murmured Bobby.
Do you think Jesus will see my hand? I am sure He will, said James. In the morning the little hand was still there. Bobby was gone to Heaven. The Dear Blessed Lord Jesus knows every detail of our lives. Still, He loves us. It is never the end with Jesus.
The Lord’s love never ends; his mercies never stop. They are new every morning; Lord, your loyalty is great. I say to myself, “The Lord is mine, so I hope in him.” Lamentations 3:22-24 NCV
“Tell me your dreams, & I will read the riddle of your life. Tell me your prayers. & I will write the history of your soul. Tell me your asking’s, & I will tell you you’re getting’s. Tell me what you seek, & I will tell you what you are. I do not wish to know your possessions, only your wants. I do not care to know what you have, only what you have not & desire to have, only what you have not & desire to have, the ideal you set before you, the things you approve as excellent, what you seek after & have given your heart to, these are a measure of a man or (Woman).”
The Proverbs tell us “Blessed is the one who finds wisdom and the one who gets understanding” (Proverbs 3:13). The beginning of wisdom is fearing the Lord, the path of wisdom is worshiping the Lord, and the end of wisdom is falling down in the presence of the Lord before His face in glory.
