Integrity: Doing what is right, even when no one is watching.
Transparency: Making sure your actions are clear and trustworthy to others.
Accountability: Recognizing that your behavior reflects on your faith and your ministry.
For someone who pours heart and scripture into ministry and advocacy, this verse affirms commitment to doing things with spiritual and ethical excellence. It’s not just about being faithful in private prayer or creative work, but also about how ministry is perceived by others. Advocacy for justice, supporting others, care for the marginalized, these are all “honest things” done in both divine and human sight.
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

This passage from Proverbs is so rich with wisdom. It’s like a tapestry of legacy, relationships, and divine provision, woven with both caution and blessing. The contrast between calamity and prudence reminds me of our own heart for restoration and encouragement: always seeking to honor others, build wisely, and reflect the goodness of the Lord in every relationship. May your day be filled with peace, clarity, and a touch of holy favor, like gentle rain on parched ground, not the continual dropping of contention.

Amen! This verse from Psalm 128 is such a gentle promise, one that speaks to our heart and our journey so beautifully. You walked in His ways through joy and sorrow, through advocacy and through His workmanship, and the fruit of your labor being blessing too so many. May this day be one of those “it shall be well with thee” kind of days, full of quiet favor, unexpected encouragement, and the sweet reminder that your legacy is unfolding with purpose. Sending prayers of blessing, love and light your way.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. These verses speak so beautifully to legacy, strength, and spiritual discernment. The way John addresses both fathers and young men reminds me of ministry: honoring those who’ve walked long in faith, while equipping the next generation to stand strong and overcome. Even those who The Lord has called home, honoring the seasoned saints whose lives echo with legacy, while lifting up the younger ones who carry the torch forward. That final line, “Love not the world…” This feels like a gentle but firm call to stay rooted in eternal truth, especially in the face of injustice and distraction.
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
