“Prayer For A Old Man For Deliverance”

Psalm 71 Explained. Psalm 71. Psalm 71: This psalm is clearly the prayer of an elderly man threatened by his enemies (verses 9, 18). Before expressing his petition proper, the psalmist first states a brief introduction to his petition (verses 1-4). The Story of Psalm 71. The person that wrote this psalm knew the psalms that David wrote very well. Maybe it was the *prophet Jeremiah. In Something to do you will find some psalms to look at. If you do this, you will see that Psalm 71 repeats verses from them.
Psalm Chapter 71:1-24
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me. Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress. Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth. By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee. I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge. Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honor all the day. Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails. For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together, Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him. O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help. Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonor that seek my hurt. But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only. O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works. Now also when I am old and gray~headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come. Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee! Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth. Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side. I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.

Father God, I thank You and praise You that even in our old age You still will provide and take care of us. I thank You and praise You, that You have been my strength in times past, in the now and You have continued to support and strengthen me through every scene of my life. May Your name be glorified for ever and ever, for You alone are worthy of all praise! I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“Happy Mothers Day, We are not our own”

We run to win for our children. We do everything we can to see them do right in this life. Sometimes we try to hard. It is a love, like or you don’t like me relationship. Then Mother knows she is doing what is best. We are our children’s preachers, teachers, and blessed assurance that our children walk in the right direction. We teach them how to have fun, collect rocks, how to plant and grow in this life. We as mothers can not do this for them all though sometimes they wish we could. I had this turtle shell my grandson Joe Joe found for me about 12 years ago. It hard working body inside was gone. I say this because I took a picture of the turtle shell 12 years ago. I put the turtle shell in my yucca palm on top of the dirt as a design. I have this Yucca Palm plant in the kitchen. Yesterday I picked up the turtle shell and it fell apart. But perfectly in the creases of the shell. The pieces be put together like puzzle pieces. I threw the pieces away. It reminded me of how memories of my mom has impacted my life and how like those little pieces that may of fell apart those pieces still was strong. Is this not what mothers do best that keep us strong for our children whether young or old. The years we spend with them we stay intact and when a mom goes to heaven she leaves good strong pieces in our memories to carry on to others.

Forgive and ye shall be forgiven. Luke 6:37
Heavenly Father, since I want to be forgiven, help me to be forgiving in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
We are not our own bosses to live or die as we ourselves might choose. Living or dying we follow the Lord. Living or dying we are His. That is why Christ died and rose again, so that He can be our Lord both while we live and when we die. You have no right to criticize your brother or sister or look down on Him or her. Remember, each of us will stand personally before the Judgement Seat of Christ. For it is written, “As I live,: says the Lord, “every knee shall bow to Me and every tongue confess to God.”
Yes each of us will give an account of himself to God. So don’t criticize each other any more. Try instead to live in such a way that you will never make your brother or sister stumble by letting him or her see you doing something he or she thinks is wrong.

“Prayer For Help From Persecutors”

Chapter 70 This psalm is adapted to a state of affliction; it is copied almost word for word from the fortieth, and, some think for that reason, is entitled, “a psalm to bring to remembrance;’’ for it may be of use sometimes to pray over the prayers we have formerly made to God upon similar occasions, which may be done with new affections.
Psalm Chapter 70:1-5
MAKE HASTE, O GOD, TO DELIVER ME; MAKE HASTE TO HELP ME, O LORD. Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

Father God, thank You and praise You that You put deceitful people back on their own shame and guilt. I thank You that You deliver the innocent and help them when others make haste to harm them and give them no rest. Thank You and praise You that You see and You deliver all into Your protection, love and grace. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
Lord, let me find the peace of mind promised in Your Word, in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

God in His wisdom saw to it that the world would never find God through human brilliance, and then He stepped in and saved all those who believed His message, which the world calls foolish and silly. It seems foolish to the Jews because they want a sign from Heaven as proof that what is preached is true; and it is foolish to the Gentiles because they only believe what agrees with their conscience and seems wise to them. So when we preach about Christ dying to save them, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense. But, God has opened the eyes of those called to salvation. This so~called “Foolish” plan of God is far wiser than the wisest plan of the wisest man, and God in His weakness~ Jesus Christ dying on the cross is far stronger than any man.

The Lord despises the deeds of the wicked, but loves those who try to be good.

“A Cry of Distress and Imprecation on Adversaries”

Psalm 69: This psalm gives extensive expression to one of the major themes of the psalms: undeserved suffering. In this case, the suffering has come largely from the psalmist’s steadfastness in his commitment to the Lord. Because of this popular and needed motif, the psalm became a favorite of the New Testament. In singing this psalm we must have an eye to the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that followed, not forgetting the sufferings of Christians too, and the glory that shall follow them; for it may lead us to think of the ruin reserved for the persecutors and the rest reserved for the persecuted. To the chief musician upon Shoshannim.
Psalm 69:1-36
Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God. They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away. O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee. Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel. Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face. I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children. For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach. I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them. They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards. But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation. Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me. Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily. Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies. Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor: mine adversaries are all before thee. Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake. Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them. Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents. For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded. Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness. Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high. I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs. The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. For the LORD hears the poor, and despises not his prisoners. Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moves therein. For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession. The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
Father God, Jehovah Rapha, I am believing for those who are ill, frightened and alone as they have no one to care for them. They have no one who is really interested in them at all, and they feel lost and alone and so vulnerable. Lord Jesus, If they just have come down with a illness, or just need Your miracles in their life. Lord You know their heart , and You are with them and they are not alone, because You are always with them. You promised to be with them and never to leave them or forsake them, even when everyone else does. Be with them and reach out Your healing hand of blessing and touch them Lord. Please make them feel better, not only in their body but also their mind and in their life. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“God Will Punish Sin”

Good morning. I woke up yesterday morning to a puddle on the floor near the refrigerator. So I noticed that the fridge door had been left open. So I closed it. My husband got up from his sleep. He noticed the puddle and said: “I need to fix this today!” We can’t have a fridge that leaks. He said if I can’t fix it, I will have to get a new one. Hmmm! So I mopped up the puddle. Well! This morning when I woke up: “No puddle!” It was dried up and “No refrigerator door was left open” Miracle fix! Isn’t that like “Sin” We sin and we learn by our mistakes and ask God for forgiveness and God makes all new who walk in the newness of life with Christ.

Proverbs 19:23

Thank You Lord, for the privilege’s of communion with You, in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

There will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who obey Him, whether they are Jews or Gentiles. For God treats everyone the same. He will punish sin, where ever it is found. He will punish the heathen when they sin, even though they never had God’s written laws, for down in their heart they know right from wrong. God’s laws are written within them: their own conscience accuses them, or sometimes excuses them. And God will punish the Jews for sinning because they have His written laws but don’t obey them. They know what is right but don’t do it. After all. salvation is not given to those who know what to do, unless they do it. The day will surely come when at God’s command Jesus Christ will judge the secret lives of everyone, their inmost thoughts and motives; this is all part of God’s great plan.

“The God of Sinai and of The Sanctuary”

The Story of Psalm 68. The Philistines lived by the sea to the west of the Jews. David was the king of the Jews. The Philistines and the Jews were enemies. In one of their fights, the Philistines took away the Ark of God. The Ark was a special box made of wood. It was a metre (measure) long and half a metre (measure) high and half a metre (measure) wide. Thy God hath commanded thy strength. The great power of the Israelites, and the height of glory and strength to which the kingdom of David had arisen, was the work of God; which naturally makes way for the petition following, Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
Psalm 68:1-35
Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melted before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God setteth the solitary in families: he brings out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. O God, when thou went forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor. The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it. Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil. Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold. When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon. The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan. Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desires to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever. The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place. Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death. But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goes on still in his trespasses. The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea: That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same. They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary. The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels. Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel. There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali. Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us. Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee. Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war. Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God. Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah: To him that rides upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice. Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds. O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
Father God, I thank You and praise You for this verse in Psalm Chapter 68:10 that reads: “Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.”} I thank You and praise You that it is Your will to help those that are afflicted, to support the weak, to provide for the widows and orphans and to help those that are in need. But also there are those who are seem to defeated by a world that don’t care about the felons. Those who serve their time for disobedience and they come out of prison just to find that perfect people who never sinned a day in their lives they think; put felons back in jail to condemn them as dirty. We know those perfect people you see, will get their just reward. Guide others to see what these perfect people do and God stop them perfect people in their own dirty deeds. Just saying. I thank You that You are a God of second chances. Use my mind to and mouth to encourage others. Use my hands and feet to be of service to those in need, and use my voice to speak words of healing, courage and encouragement to those that are afflicted and in distress. Thank You and praise You for hearing my prayer and believing in Your children and thank You that You are just a breath away for all and all, in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Matthew 10:32-42
Every one therefore that shall confess me {Jesus Christ} before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven. But he that shall deny me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven. Do not think that I came to send peace upon earth: I came not to send peace, but the sword. For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And as a man’s enemies shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me, is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not up his cross, and follows me, is not worthy of me. He that finds his life, shall lose it: and he that shall lose his life for me, shall find it. He that receives you, receives me: and he that receives me, receives him that sent me. He that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet, shall receive the reward of a prophet: and he that receives a just man in the name of a just man, shall receive the reward of a just man. And whosoever shall give to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, amen I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.

Get wisdom, because it is better than gold: and purchase prudence, for it is more precious than silver. The path of the just departs from evils: he that keeps his soul keeps his way. Proverbs 16: 16-17

“The Nations Exhorted To Praise God”

Psalm 67: This national psalm of thanksgiving expresses the gratefulness of the people to God and their confidence in His continued blessings. It begins with a blessing by the priest (verse 1), and a reflection of the Aaronic benediction (in Numbers 6:24-26). Then there is a call to all peoples to praise God (verses 2-5). ” What Psalm 67 means ” explains them. Bible students do not know who wrote this psalm, or when. It uses two ideas from the Old Testament, one is from the Book of Numbers. The other is from the Book of Genesis. Here is Numbers 6:24-26. 😊 “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26 😊”El Señor te bendiga y te guarde; el Señor hace que su rostro brille sobre ti y sea amable contigo; el Señor vuelve su rostro hacia ti y te da paz.” Números 6:24-26 They are words that God spoke to Moses, for Moses to tell the people. *LORD is a special name for God. This wonderful psalm is sometimes forgotten or neglected when God’s people think of their favorite psalms. Though Martin Luther wrote five large volumes of exposition on Psalms, he skipped Psalm 67 entirely. Nevertheless, this psalm has a heart to see God’s way, God’s salvation, and God’s praise extended through all the earth.
Psalm 67:1-7
God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
Father God,I thank You and praise You for the awesome works of Your hands and the awesome deeds that You have done for me. I thank You and praise You that Jesus came to redeem me and to die in my place, so that I could be raised into newness of life, and live with You in the eternal times to come. How awesome are Your works and how great and Mighty is Your power. All the earth will worship You and sing praises to Your holy name, for You alone are worthy of our honor, glory and thanksgiving, our worship and praise. I am believing for You Father God, to work in all lives today for all sinners to come to repentance and grow in Your grace and walk, In Jesus Precious Name Amen.
