“Close Friend’s”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
It reads in Psalm 119:20; My soul is crushed with longing. After Your ordinances at all times.

I knew this girl in California. Her name was Donna. I was going to school in Riverside, California. Well, I would ride the bus all the way to Magnolia Street to go to school. Well, I met Donna on the bus each day, Monday thru Friday. Donna would talk to me all the time. We became friend. I knew she wasn’t feeling well though and I didn’t want to ask. One day the bus driver told me I shouldn’t hang with her. He had an opinion about her. Hmm! I didn’t care what he thought. I just sat in my seat. Just saying. Something in my heart told me not to listen to him. I mean I didn’t talk with him every day other than to say Hi or Have a blessed day. I stayed talking to Donna every time I saw her. She was a good person. She even believed in God. She started going to church with me on Sunday and She even got to know my mom and children. Donna finally opened up to us about her sickness. We found out she was dying from leukemia. This was in 1984. She worked at Hallmark on Magnolia Street. She didn’t have the medical insurance that she really needed. What was sad is that she was all alone. But we let her know we would be here for her. Sometimes we can say this, but God can do a lot more than us. So, we prayed for her. I kept believing for her healing. I prayed God would guide someone who could truly help her in her situation.
Well one day I was running late. Ended up walking all the way to school. I knew I had a test. While I was walking to school, someone through a water balloon out of their car and it hit me in my left femur. It hurt bad. They thought it was a joke. Not! Was not a joke to me. Got to school with tears of course. I took my test. I had a huge bruise on my femur from them throwing the water balloon. I got to the bus stop and waited. I got on the bus and the bus driver told me had heard that Donna had passed away. I felt crushed. We as friends make a lot of promises. But then I realized that I should never promise anything. I need to say yes or no. We can be there for someone. But not always. Stuff gets in the way of making a promise. Even with the best intentions I can’t keep a promise without breaking it. I know God will never break a promise. God is the only one that can be totally with us and for us. As a friend we can only try to be there for them. (God knew we couldn’t do it all. My husband’s quote now for me.) There is only one friend who will encourage you when you are discouraged. A friend who is always by our side and will never leave. Those friends that leave is in Jesus’s loving arms and safe. This is what I have realized over the years is to give others and anything into God’s hands.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You for good friends. I thank You and praise You that You are the closest friend, and You lead other friends in our lives to remind us of Your unconditional love and peace. You Jesus are a close friend to all of us that believe in You. Assist me daily to be steadfastly aware of Your loving and constant presence in my life In Your Precious Name Jesus Amen.

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. John 15:15

“Heart Of Giving””

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
Wow! I couldn’t believe it! Everything runs smoothly when the computer is updated, and passwords are in the computer so everything can run smoothly. Love this. Now Windows 11 comes along and becomes difficult for me. Hmm! So, I use one laptop as I do my online work and update Windows 11 on the other laptop. Great it’s done! Then internet explorer has to be updated. Great done! While I do my work on the other laptop. Then McAfee /security is saying no virus detection. What? So, I go into MacAfee, and it takes the old off and puts the new on. Hmm! So now I am working on the updated laptop and working on the update on the other laptop. Womans work is never finished. Anyways the point I am getting at is nothing ever stays the same. So, while it does you can be comfortable. But don’t get to comfortable. Always something new and better that will test your knowledge each day. It reads in Proverbs 18:15 – The heart of the prudent gets knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.
So even if it starts to stress me out. I know I am learning something new, that I can share with others. It reads in Matthew 11:28-29; Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest, Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
It is like I make jewelry, quilts, Afghan, little embroider doily’s, pillows and clothes. I went outside to sell my jewelry, pillows and some of my embroider doily’s and no one wanted to buy anything but plants. I know my stuff will last reasonably. Some people think if it is hand made it is not good enough. I made my husband a pillow 25 years ago and it is still going strong. I made him pillow cases. He still has all four. So what I am saying is some people would rather buy something that doesn’t last. Thats fine. Most of the stuff I have made I have given away. My step daughter Lena. I noticed she had taken the baby Afghan I made her children and put them up in packages on a top shelf for when her children have children. This was pure joy in my heart knowing she did this for her children. She also save stuff other people had made her.
The Bible is clear that the knowledge of God is the most valuable knowledge a human being can possess. But it is also clear that simply being aware of God’s existence is not sufficient; the knowledge of God must encompass the deep appreciation for and relationship with Him. We know from Scripture that knowledge is a gift from God.
It reads in Revelation 21:5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also, he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
My mom when she was alive. She made us clothes growing up. Of course people made in front of us. But our clothes was sophisticated clothes. Clothes you would buy from a professional seamstress. My mom was. She made all her clothes. No one bought her clothes. We would buy her a bathrobe or slippers. Most of the time slippers or her favorite perfume. My husband bought our mom 2 new dress’s, sweater. Our mom was so happy to get new dress’s. I will never forget this. No one ever bought her a dress before. So our mom always wanted to teach people who couldn’t read to read. She was disabled and she would read books. She would get upset sometimes. But she taught her children, foster children and grandchildren how to read and she helped us all with homework. She was always there for all of us. She would always tell us knowledge is power used right. She’d say we see that joy is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Joy comes from believing God, belonging to His Kingdom, and knowing Jesus as Lord. Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You that Jesus Christ came to earth to become our Savior. I thank You and praise You that He did not come to please Himself but was prepared to say: Thy will be done, even when He faced the cross, knowing that it was only by His death that we can have life. I am believing Your mercy on those that have been blinded to the truth by the enemy of our soul and believe that even today, many would come to faith in Jesus Christ and discover that in Him is life and light for evermore. Even the old can pass on knowledge and make all new in Christ. My heart rejoices as I realize the depth of love You have for me. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Proverbs 2:10

“Messes, Setback and Miracles”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
I know I am going to talk about Mr. Willie again. But this is how I can tell you that healing does work. Prayer and action do work. We have a baby we have to pamper them and take good care of them. We assist them in crawling, walking, talking and they learn as we guide them. This is because God gave them to us to take care of. God loves our children more than we ever could. He promises to care for them and hold them in His great peace. “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.” (1 John 3:1) So at some point we have to let go when they get older. But we pray for them and still let them know we love them.
Then when as we get older, we start losing the energy we used to have. We have to slow down and take it easy at times. We can’t open stuff like we used to. But God still guides us and loves us unconditionally. He heals our infirmities. Prayer and action. Now let’s get back to Mr. Willie. Mr. Willie ended up in the hospital with Pneumonia. An because Mr. Willie couldn’t breathe good, they did a tracheostomy, also known as a tracheotomy, is a small surgical opening that is made through the front of the neck into the windpipe, or trachea. A curved plastic tube, known as a tracheostomy tube, is placed through the hole allowing air to flow in and out of the windpipe. The tube does not extend into the lungs.
Anyways me and some other prayer leaders visited Mr. Willie. I was told Mr. Willie’s son didn’t come to see him. I think Mr. Willie’s son was scared and just didn’t want to see his dad in that way. They thought that Mr. Willie’s son was waiting for Mr. Willie to pass on. This upset me. I kept praying for Mr. Willie and the other prayer Leaders. So, one day I got the son’s phone number off the wall. I took and got someone to call Mr. Willie’s son. Well, the girl gave Mr. Willie’s son my phone Number and the son had me banded from ever seeing Mr. Willie. I had had classes with the elderly doing painting. My husband would help me on his days off. So, I had Mr. Willie’s pictures he painted. So, I kept the pictures. Anyways, I hadn’t heard anything about Mr. Willie after this. Well two years later 2019 I had gone to see my friend who broke her left hip at a rehabilitation and nursing home. We were listening to Mr. RL singing and I looked over and saw a man that looked exactly like Mr. Willie. So, when Mr. RL took a break singing. I got up and walked over and went to ask him if he was Mr. Willie. Sure, enough he looked at me and it was Mr. Willie. I was so happy I hugged Mr. Willie a couple of times. I told Mr. Willie I was so proud of him, and God is so good. When you think all is lost. Think again. Because God hears our prayers and see’s our actions. God I was so happy God healed Mr. Willie. Anyways I went and bought 3 picture frames and I framed Mr. Willie’s paintings and put them on his dresser. I asked him where he wanted them.
See when you think all is over for your loved one. Think again and get on your knees and pray for them. Things may look really bad. But God see’s the heart and soul and listens to our cry for others. Don’t give up praying for others. You will see miracles if you don’t give up. God is so good. What looks like a mess, there is a miracle hidden ready to reveal itself? “Blessed is the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Hebrews 4:12; For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You, for prayer for the living. I thank You and praise You for Your powerful Word. I pray that whatever it takes, Your Holy Spirit would continue to convict, convert, comfort, and conform me into the image of the Lord Jesus, so that I become the person You want me to be. Let me never hinder the work of Your Holy Spirit within, as He continues to divide my born-again spirit from my sin sick soul. Root out all that is not of the Lord Jesus and use me. I want to be a channel of Your light guided in prayer for others and myself. Prayer unhindered, into the lives of those around me. I thank You and praise You that You loved us so much that You purposed to change all who believe, into the image and likeness of Christ Jesus. Sometimes when people look like it is their end, You turn it around to be miracles or Your testimony of Your plan for our lives. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he dies, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26

“Directed By God In Unity”

Marriage the legally or formally recognized union of two people as partners in a personal relationship (historically and in some jurisdictions specifically a union between a man and a woman). Marriage comes from God. And His union of Adam and Eve illustrates God’s ideal for marriage, one man and one woman joined together in a life-long commitment to each other, working together to form strong, godly families. Obviously, human beings haven’t always followed that ideal, but God’s way is still the best way. Spending time with God and your spouse is a blessing. Pastor always tells us that we are not to be in the same room with another man alone or a woman is not to be alone with a man in the same room in the church. This is only proper edict. He is correct. Because marriage is unity.
The first human relationship God created was marriage (Read Genesis 1 and 2). To create nations that would steward His creation, God made men, male and female and brought them together in marriage and said: “For this reason, a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh,” Genesis 2:24.
God did this, not man. And since all gifts are given to build up God’s body and his kingdom (Let’s read; 1 Corinthians 12:7–12; (NIV) Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts from one body, so it is with Christ.), a godly marriage is a powerful weapon for the kingdom of God. They build the kingdom through raising godly seed, corporate prayer, service to God’s church, and evangelism of the world. So, God is our rock and builds unity among His people. It is people who cause chaos when it should not have started at all. God always brings His word into the sinner’s life. Praise God for His word. seems to work all for His good and not what someone else wants to happen. God has the last Word. He expects us to hate sin and pray for the sinner. One of the most important keys that will make it possible for us to walk in kingdom living is our expression of praise. The Lord’s prayer begins in an attitude of worship and praise, “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom comes. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth” (Luke 11:2). {Praise is the will of God, and heaven overflows with it. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundering’s, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. Revelation 19:5-7} It reads in Revelation 19: 8; Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) Tools; Rev 19:9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” Spending time with God and your spouse is a blessing.

Love can always conquer
Whatever discord brings
A love can also cover
A multitude of things.
Don’t you underestimate.
What love can ever do,
For love is God eternal!
An His love can renew.
What is cold and lifeless,
Now lost all hope and died,
For love can breathe new meaning
Gives it back new life.
Please don’t give up on love!
When it seems that all is lost,
For there is always hope.
If we’re prepared to pay the cost.
For love is always worth it!
No matter how much the price,
For love will be much stronger!
When we trust in Jesus Christ.
So let God have full reign,
Let Him live within your heart!
Then you will know true love,
For this He will impart.
“This poem really touched my heart many times.”

Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot heal the soul.

Matthew 10:28

“New Change! New Me!”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

The season’s when they change can change a person’s routine. Depending on the age.

Each year when it is Spring, we just have to plant something that fits in the Fall and Winter. Something that doesn’t take a lot of work. In the Fall we have to rake leaves and weed eat any weeds. Then we cut the grass for the Winter. Yes, Winter we don’t cut grass in Texas. Lol! Like me I love the Winter because I can sew me a dress or shirt. I can work on one of my patch work quilts. I can grow plants in the house and garage. I can paint pictures. Cold days and rainy days are the best time to work inside. Then Spring comes along. Hmmm! Spring cleaning, washing windows inside and outside. Planting bulbs cutting grass, weed eating and whatever the Spring energy guides us to do. There is a season for everything we do. I love this. God gives us variety in life to keep on going. I like to do everything I can in one day. Especially looking at what I did yesterday and pat myself on the back for a great job well done.

{Love this quote by Charles H. Spurgeon © “The seasons change, and you change, but the Lord abides evermore the same, and the streams of His love are as deep, as broad and as full as ever.”}

It reads in 2 Corinthians 3:18: And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

A tree through the seasons. The leaves of deciduous trees change color through the seasons before they are shed in the autumn. In spring, the first leaf buds appear. In summer the tree is thick with green leaves. A substance called chlorophyll colors the leaves green and helps the plant make food. Seasons are caused by the Earth’s revolution around the sun and the unchanging tilt of the Earth’s axis. Earth’s axis is the imaginary red line. Earth’s Axis Is Imaginary In astronomy, an axis refers to the imaginary line that an object, usually a planet, rotates around. Earth’s rotational axis is an imaginary straight line that runs through the North and South Pole. We generally think of winter as the coldest time of the year and summer as the warmest time of the year, with spring and fall being the transition seasons. In the Southern Hemisphere, the seasons are reversed where summer occurs when the South Pole is oriented towards the sun, and winter happens when the South Pole faces away. I pretty sure you know where I am going with this. Change feels so good.

It reads in 1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.

I don’t like staying with just one project. I like change in my daily routine. Something new or even if it was the same thing, I did last week but, I hadn’t done it for a week but when I do it. It feels different. It is like taking 6 cupcakes and frosting them and decorating them. They may look alike from a far. But because you made them. You recognize they are not the same whereas someone else with a quick look sees them as all the same. This is how we should look at others they are unique and the more you see them you see the good change in them and that changes you for the better. God is good all the time, allows growth and allows change.

{Let’s Pray}

Father God, I thank You and praise You that in Jesus all things are made new. I thank You and praise You that in Jesus, old things have passed away, and I have been made a new creation of change and purpose In Your light. Assist me to change for the good and truly understand that this amazing truth is not only something for the future but something that took place the moment I believed in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I believe that I may come to a deeper understanding of what it is to be a part of a new change, and heavenly creation in Jesus. May I never take good change for granted. Keep walking with You through the many seasons of each new day in Jesus Precious Name Amen! Hallelujah!

The heart of the man of good sense gets knowledge; the ear of the wise is searching for knowledge. Proverbs 18:15

“Grandparents Love Through Christ”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
I remember when I was growing up. My grandmother and grandfather paid for me to go to dancing class’s. I loved dancing. Ballet and wearing ballerina slippers and tutu. I wanted to be a ballerina when I got older. Well, my grandmother passed away when I was 9 years old. So, the teacher told me if my parents didn’t come up with the money I couldn’t dance no more. Of course, my parents couldn’t afford this. So, I was never able to for fill my dream on that call.
But when I got into high school, I was able to take ice skating and I learned how to figure skate. I was pretty good. Let’s just say it is a good thing I can figure skate, because I was able to show my boys when they were younger to skate on a double blade. Lo! We had fun. It is so awesome how we can dream and have talents, but we only become our own fans. It is a good thing. Because God is our biggest fan. God honors and blesses our faithfulness. Keep going and keep growing. Each time we participate in following God’s Word we are allowing the “seed” of God’s Word to grow within us. We can encourage others in talents they like and appreciate and watch them grow further in their dreams that become reality. Leading them in the way they should go and that is on the right path. I found myself thinking about the care God put into each one of us. To make us unique individuals, for His purpose. I used to dream for my children. Dreaming my sons and daughter would have their own singing group. Because we all together could sing good together while they were growing up. In my mind I had so many good plans for them. But one thing I never realized was God had His plans for them. I was taken God’s job which He wanted me to let go of the reigns because He only gave them to me to take care of. The rest I was to leave up to Him to guide them. Then I had grandchildren and I found myself almost doing it again. Like oh no God! I am sorry, here You guide and lead them. God does what is best for us.” If ever there is someone who you can rely on to always be in your corner, it’s God. Found myself thinking about the care God put into each one of us just so we would be unique and His light. It reads in Romans 8:28; And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You for Your Word and the many truths within the bible. I thank You and praise You that You sent Jesus to save us from our sins. I thank You and praise You that You came to save me and place me into Your heavenly family, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ my Savior. Keep me from wandering away from the truth of Your Word. Give me an understanding heart and a love for You that grows with every today. I thank You and praise You that I can let go and give it to You and live in Your peace. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2

“Jesus Is Our Friend”

Father God let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

I wake up with the mind set to talk to God and tell Him what I have a mind to do today to get things done as He guides me because I can’t do all this in my own strength. God always miraculously makes my days better and fuller of joy. When we cook, do dishes, laundry, clean house, do grocery shopping, pay bills, give to the poor, pay our 10% to church and give to others etc. We are giving to others. Sometimes it is hard in keeping up with all this and then some. God don’t want you to be a slave to anything or anyone, but free to do what is right in your life. Enjoy because everything is a gift from Him.

It reads in Romans 14:23 (NLT)But if you have doubts about whether or not you should eat something, you are sinning if you go ahead and do it. What is said here is: Let your yes be yes and your no be no. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
As we study through the book of Romans, and particularly chapter 12 and following, it is important to note that salvation is through God’s grace and not our works. However, a natural result of this salvation is to live a life pleasing to God. This is exactly where Paul picks up in Romans 12:1- And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you.
It reads in Romans 15:1-3; We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”
Wow! So Jesus heart bleed because of those who persecuted Him but in return Jesus didn’t sin. Like my mom would of said. “Killed your enemies with kindness so in turn they may see their own shame and turn back to God.” No matter what we go through or what we have done. Jesus still calls us His friend. Jesus loves us more than we could ever fathom.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You that Jesus came to this earth to become my Savior. I thank You that Jesus did not come to please Himself. Jesus was prepared and was prepared to say: Thy will be done, even when Jesus faced the cross, knowing that it was only by His death that we can be forgiven and have life. Lord Jesus I believe for Your mercy on those that have been blinded to the truth by the enemy of our soul and believe that even today, many would come to faith in Christ and discover that in Jesus there is life and light for evermore. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Blessed are those whose strength is in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.

Psalm 84:5

“Have Joy In This Moment”

Father God let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
Let’s praise God for the wonderful memories in our lives. The good memories can bring a joy that drowns out the bad memories. We learn from our bad memories so the good ones outways the bad. As believers, we can trust in our loving Savior who restores our brokenness and makes us new and beautiful. We have a Savior who heals and redeems. Let me encourage you to bring your wounds to Jesus Christ and allow Him to heal you and repair your scars. Be open and honest with Him. We doubt God so often. We forget that He cares so deeply about the intimate part of our lives. Good memories of how God worked through others to be His light to us. But Jesus said to him, remember what the Lord has done for you. Some of my greatest memories are the ones that involve my Christian testimony. It’s such a beautiful picture in our mind when we remember how God drew us to repentance and saved us. This memory is something that you should constantly replay in your mind.

The simplest things in this life can evoke powerful memories. Memories are one of the greatest gifts that God has ever given us. They allow us to live one moment one thousand times over. We all treasure memories because they allow us to relive delightful times in our lives. Memories become stories that we tell hundreds and thousands of times throughout our life. The beautiful thing about our memories is that, not only are they beautiful to us, but they are also beautiful to others. You ever hear?
“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. “Today’s moments are now,” “Sometimes small memories cover large part of our hearts!” “Some memories are unforgettable, remaining ever vivid and heartwarming! “Whenever I think of the past, it brings back so many memories.” “Memories are wonderful to make. But sometimes painful to remember.” “I thought past memories are everything to us, but now it’s about what we live in the present to write new memories.” I like taking pictures. Especially nature pictures of God’s creation. I can look back at last year’s memories. Like pictures of birds or sky and remember how I felt in that moment. How God would let me see this in the picture and take the picture. Then I see something new and take a picture of it. Whatever it is. If I don’t know what kind of bird or flower, I will look it up to get the true name.
“God gave us memory so that we might have snow or roses in December.” Lilies in April, July and September an when we see the daffodils we remember Jesus born in a manger. “Memories are timeless treasures of the heart.” “Some memories never fade.” Memories are awesome, but what’s also awesome is building new memories with your loved ones. Enjoy every moment that you have with your loved ones. Instead of being on your phone all the time, put your phone away. Cherish family and friends and make the most of your time with them. The more time you invest in someone, the richer the memories that you will have with them. Let your love grow through one another. God’s presence alone can bring us joy and the hope of living with Him forever. 1 Peter 1:6 Once again, we can rest in the hope that joy is ahead of us, even when we cannot see it.
It reads in 1 Corinthians 11:23–26-; “For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”
{Let’s Pray}
Father God I thank You and praise You that You love me so much that Your punishment is not designed to harm me, but to return me into precious fellowship with Yourself. Assist me to keep a short rein on my sin and confess this quickly to You. I thank You and praise You for the institution of the Lord’s Supper. I thank You and praise You that we are called to remember the high price that Jesus Christ paid for our sin and for our remembrance at the communion table. Let me never become complacent about the enormous price that was paid for my sin. Assis me to honor Your holy name and give You all the glory when I meet together with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I thank You for all those who You have sent in my past life to mentor and be a light to me. I believe I will continue to remember the Lord Jesus’ death for my sins and forgiving, giving grace and setting me free until He comes again. If He comes back to get me. I thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“When You Need A Quiet Time”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

It reads in Matthew 6:6 – But thou, when thou pray, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which sees in secret shall reward thee openly.

Like to get up in the morning. Read the bible, journal and have my conversation with God. Then do my daily routine then some. Everyone needs a quiet time. Even we go through the day, God is right with us, and He will assist us in all we do. Sometimes the days are tough. {For each day he carries us in his arms. Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God of our salvation. Psalm 66:19} But if we believe God is right here with us. Stuff can get easier. We just have to believe. Sometimes we make projects for ourselves or others that just can be time consuming. We have to overcome obstacles to get where we are going in this life. We work countless hours before we even reach our goal. Relax! Take a break I tell you. Hmm! Do I? Do you? Sometimes no and then mess up. So then take a break then do it all over. We are going to have those days if we don’t give it a rest. We need to stay on God’s plan It reads in Romans 12:12- Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

{Let’s Pray}

Father God, I love You, thank You for Jesus and that I have been saved by grace through faith in His finished work. I thank You that I can take a break and refresh my thinking. I thank You and praise You for this mind that is a gift from You. I thank You and praise You for Your love that is another gift from You. I believe that You would pour Your godly love into my heart so that Your love may stream through me to all my brothers and sisters in Christ, that I too may love with a sisterly affection and considers the needs of others before my own. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“When You think You’re Not Stealing”

Father God, Let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need. Ephesians 4:28
I would get upset if my grandchildren stole anything from the other siblings. I would put them in the corner and make them apologize to their siblings’ and return whatever they took. Well one Mother’s Day my adult children bought me some mums in a container. So, Mother’s Day I put them in the ground while everyone was sleeping. I was up that Sunday morning, and some old lady was digging up my Mums right after I planted them. I stood at the window in awe. How can this lady just think she can do this to me God? So, I let her go. When the children woke up, we ate breakfast and got ready for church. When we were leaving the mums became a big conversation piece between the children. They were asking why I didn’t put that lady in the corner. I had all I could do but laugh on the inside. But I told them she wasn’t my daughter or granddaughter, and she knew better. Well; we were in church, and Pastor Kerry was doing the sermon on stealing. That even if you pick a seed off someone else’s plant. This is stealing. Well, I started thinking. Hmm! I pick seeds off other people’s plants. Maybe pick a piece of Ivy that belong to someone else and brought it home and put it in water. Hmm! Or seed from a sego palm and pick it off someone’s bush near the street! Hmm! I was a thief. Never knew I was till this sermon! It spoke and shocked my heart at the same time. Hmm! I let that lady walk off with my Mums and I was no different than that lady. So, in my heart I knew I was no different than that lady. Hmmm! So, I don’t take anybody else’s clippings or seeds unless they give them to me, or I ask. I buy my own now. But you see how God can teach us a lesson and also through the Pastors lips to my heart. Hmm! I told my grandchildren what I did wrong. I asked God to forgive me and them to forgive me. They did. Plus, maybe that lady took my Mums because no one thought of her on Mother’s Day. I think God had to teach me a lesson. I prayed that wherever that lady planted them flowers that she would have an abundance grow. But you see the little things that we take for granted could be stealing. If we can’t ask, we don’t need it! I am sure glad they didn’t put me in the corner. Lol!
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, as I read through the many instructions we receive on godly living, guide me always to do good. Forgive me when I fail You. I am believing to walk with You and have Christ like behavior. I recognize that it is not an outside change in my outward behavior that is important, I need to change my inner being and do what is right in Your eyes. I want my life to reflect the light of Christ. Forgive me for the times I have stolen from others, not realizing that I was stealing. I believe in thought, word, deed, my actions and attitude would be pure, noble and would honor Your Name. Give me a generous spirit so I may be cheerful in my giving and compassionate in my heart towards others. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
