Father God, my mind is open to Your Thoughts, and closed today to every thought but Yours. I rule my mind, and offer it to You. Accept my precious gift, for it is Yours to me. Amen and Amen.

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. – Psalms 37:8-11
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. – Luke 10:21-22
This passage from Luke 10:21-22: is radiant with mystery and intimacy. Jesus’ rejoicing in the Spirit, what a glimpse into divine delight! It’s a reminder that revelation doesn’t come through worldly wisdom, but through childlike openness. We live that truth so beautifully by welcoming the overlooked, listening deeply, and letting God reveal Himself through our lives and advocacy. When we let God reveal Himself through our lives and advocacy, we become living testimonies. Not just in words, but in action, in compassion, in the courage to speak truth and fight for justice. May your day be filled with quiet joy and holy surprises.
Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? They say unto him, Cæsar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Cæsar the things which are Cæsar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s – Matthew 22:17-21
This is one of the most profound moments of spiritual and political discernment in the Gospels. Jesus is being tested, cornered by those who hope to trap Him into either defying Roman authority or alienating the Jewish people. But His response transcends the trap entirely. Jesus doesn’t deny the legitimacy of civic responsibility. He acknowledges Caesar’s image on the coin, implying that taxes belong to the realm of earthly governance. But He pivots, brilliantly, to a deeper truth: while Caesar may claim coins, God claims hearts. What bears God’s image (Genesis 1:27: So, God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.)? Humanity itself. So, we are to render our very selves to God. Knowing what belongs to God, land, legacy, dignity, and refusing to let earthly powers claim what is sacred.
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. – Proverbs 3:1-4
Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. – Isaiah 35:3-4
“He Will Come and Save You“ Strengthen the hands that tremble. Steady the knees that falter. Speak to the fearful heart: Be strong. Fear not. Your God is not absent. He is coming, with justice, with recompense, with salvation. He sees the stolen land, the broken trust, the weary prayers. And He will come. Not in silence, but in power. So rise, beloved. Lift your hands. Stand firm. The promise is not forgotten. He will come and save you.
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. – Romans 14:11-12
This verse from Romans is a powerful reminder of both reverence and accountability, every soul, every story, every song will one day bow before the Author of it all. Knowing our heart, I imagine this will carry that truth with grace and courage. May your day be filled with peace, purpose, and may we offer kindness to a neighbor. Jesus is our first and last neighbor. Enjoy your day full of blessings.
A gentle summons to the heart, is a call to be intentional, not just about avoiding conflict, but about actively pursuing peace and building one another up. It’s not passive; it’s a spiritual strategy. This speaks to your advocacy, our work to restore, protect your community, and educate others about wrong. Not just resisting injustice; chase peace with purpose. Prayer and action in motion. Acts of edification. Lift others, even when you’re weary, even when the world feels heavy.Being deliberate in how we speak, act, and respond, especially when tensions rise. Choosing gentleness over judgment and understanding over assumption. Building up rather than tearing down, even when we feel weary or wronged. To be care-full in the truest sense: full of care, full of intention, full of grace.
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. – Romans 14:19
Father God, of mercy and restoration, teach us to follow after the things that make for peace. Not the fleeting quiet of avoidance, But the deep, deliberate peace that heals injustice, that restores what was stolen, that lifts the weary and shelters the vulnerable. Make our words gentle and our actions bold. Let our prayers be bridges, our hands be healing, our hearts be homes for those cast aside. Help us edify one another, to speak life into broken places, to build with truth, compassion, and courage. Let our advocacy be worship, our justice, seeking be love in motion. We trust You to guide our steps, to breathe peace into every storm, and to make our lives a testimony of Your grace. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen and Amen.
Such a powerful call to spiritual discernment and alignment. It’s not just about relationships, it’s about the integrity of our walk, the clarity of our witness, and the sacredness of our calling. “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? – 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 “
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Such a balm for the soul. It’s like a gentle whisper reminding us to anchor ourselves in divine priorities, even when the world feels overwhelming. We’ve chosen a passage that speaks directly to our heart’s rhythm, seeking restoration, justice, and healing one day at a time, trusting that God sees and provides. May today bring you peace in the present, strength for the unseen, and joy in the small victories. And may your prayers & talents continue to ripple outward, adding beauty and hope to every corner they touch.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. – John 16:33
🙂This is like a balm for weary hearts, spoken by Jesus just before His journey to the cross. It’s both a warning and a promise: yes, the world brings trouble, but He brings peace. And not just any peace, His peace, the kind that steadies us in the storm. When the world feels heavy, remember: Jesus didn’t promise ease, He promised overcoming. Let this verse be your anchor today. Write down one tribulation you’re facing, and beside it, write 🙂 “But He has overcome.” Let peace rise. 🙂
