And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. Hosanna indeed! A moment of humble joy and holy recognition. The people laid down what they had, welcoming the King not with crowns, but with open hearts and simple offerings. It’s a picture of praise that moves forward and follows behind, surrounding Jesus with trust, hope, and expectation.
