Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
– Matthew 2:1-2
Only God is worthy of worship, yet Jesus receives it from the moment of His birth. Jesus openly claimed divine identity, and His enemies understood exactly what He meant. “Come to worship Him.” Only God is worthy of worship, yet Jesus receives it. From the manger to His ministry, from the star to the cross, Scripture shows one unbroken truth: Jesus is God, worthy of worship, honor, and glory.
