Have a nice day! đꙂ

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
– John 6:27-29 reminds us of the real work God desires. Jesus shifts our focus from temporary things, the “meat which perisheth”, to the eternal nourishment only He can give. The crowd wanted to know what works they needed to perform, but Jesus answered with stunning simplicity: “This is the work of God, that I believe.”

Not striving. Not proving. Not earning. Just believing in the One God sent. It’s a call to rest in faith, not labor in fear.

When believing feels hard, we’re not meant to force ourselves into strength. We’re meant to pause, breathe, and reach for God in the middle of the struggle. When it’s hard to believe, here’s what someone can do:

Pray honestly, even if the prayer is only, “Lord, help me.”

Take one deep breath to calm the mind and steady the heart.

Take one small action that moves them forward instead of freezing in fear.

Lean on someone trustworthy, God often strengthens us through people.

Return to faith gently, not with pressure, but with openness.

Faith isn’t a performance. It’s a relationship, and relationships have moments of weakness, questions, and fatigue. What matters is that we keep turning back toward God, even if all we can offer Him in that moment is a whisper. Wishing you a peaceful, grace-filled day.
