The theology of Jeremiah can be derived by observing the structure of the book, its genres, the traditions on which it draws, its vocabulary, its “characters”, and the religious, and social agenda of the time. God keeps His word! He has kept His Word! Heaven and earth shall pass away but God’s words shall not pass away. It reads in Jeremiah 31:33 KJV> But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
