Father God, let this touch someone’s heart in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
A husband loving his wife as he loves himself is often cited as a proof to endorse male leadership in the home. In this text, wives are instructed to submit to their husbands as to the Lord, because the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church.
So loving others as yourself, you wouldn’t commit a evil act against yourself. So you would want to treat others good. Wives respect your husbands. Pray for him. Make him breakfast, give him a backrub and pray blessings over him. A wife is to submit to her own husband is “the husband is the head of the wife.” A husband is responsible for the marriage and family. The wife is also responsible for the marriage and family. Their immediate family living in their home. Submission does not mean that wives are to put up with verbal or physical abusive husbands. It reads in 1 Peter 3:7, ~ Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
Some people focus elsewhere than their marriage. Searching for something better than their spouse. Always finding fault in their spouse and not really getting to know who they are married to. So, they go look else where’s and it is called adultery which is against Gods word. It is sin.
Women focus on Jesus, not your husband. What woman who has fallen in love with Jesus would not willingly do anything for Him? Never in the Gospels do we find a woman treating Jesus badly or never do we read of a woman speaking against Jesus or do we read of a woman doing anything to harm Jesus. The women of the bible love and honor Jesus. He was everything a man should be. Naturally, most wives aren’t married to Jesus. Your husband is full of sin and selfishness, which makes it often difficult to submit to him. Woman also can be sinful and selfish; this is where we get with God and realize our sins and turn from them. This is where you must change your birds eye view. Your submission to your husband must first be submission to Jesus. Spending time in prayer, Gods word and journaling. In other words, you submit to Jesus Christ by submitting to your husband whether he deserves it or not. It becomes easier and your husband will get to know you as well as you getting to know him. They say life is what you make it. This is true. The choices we make can either encourage us to do better or break us.
It reads in Ephesians 5:21-33, ~ Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. Therefore, as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So, ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one* flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless* let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverences her husband.

Father God, I thank You and praise You for the gifts You give us each day. Thank You for my spouse. I thank You and praise You for all the gifts You have given us to be determined, faithful in paying debts and bringing us into Your freedom. I thank You for the home You provide for us and our families. I thank You for the wonderful way that You have designed the different roles of husbands and wives, which bring glory to Your name when applied in our home situation, as You have ordered. Lord, lift up all Christian marriages today. I believe for Your grace of many wives may see the beauty there is in godly submission to their own husbands. I am believing for men that they may reflect the great love for their own wives that Jesus Christ has for the Church. Jesus out of love for us, gave Himself for her and him that they may find Jesus’s freedom and peace in their family in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
