“Examine Self”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart in Jesus Precious Name Amen.

“I knew of this lady that her husband was cheating with a married woman.” There was this lady who was wild, and she was cheating on her husband with another person’s husband. The other person knew this and also knew that her husband had a disease from another woman he cheated on his wife with. So, the wife didn’t care to sleep with her husband. She let her abusive husband that cheated and spread this disease do his thing. He shared this disease with this adulteress wild woman and they both ran off in the sunset. As someone put it! This is what evil does. It destroys lives. We need to forgive and move on. God has promised to guide us to discern the good from the bad, so we don’t fall into Satan’s trap. God gave us this powerful mind to heal our bodies and walk in a pure and healthy way. Our bodies can’t heal our minds… Our minds can keep us focusing on God’s goodness, grace, righteousness, love and staying in His word. “This psalm that you are about to read opens up with David’s plea to God to show him mercy. He asks God to blot out his transgressions, wash his iniquities, and cleanse him from sin. He admits his sinning was against God. He also confesses his human sin nature. David asks God to make him as white as snow by purging him with hyssop.”
It reads in Psalm 51:1-5
{For the director of music. A psalm of David. When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.}
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge. Surely, I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, it says in Your Word, examine Yourself to see it you have the faith. I realize that this is not talking to unbelievers. It is talking to all of us who are Your children in Jesus Christ. Guide me to examine myself, and all that I am learning from You and Your Word. Purify my mind, heart and those things that feed my soul with compassion, faith, peace, goodness, kindness, purity, love so that I truly may say with conviction, “I know in Whom I have believed and am walking in the path on which He has placed me.” I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
