“Obedient Hearts Are A Blessing”

Father God, let this touch someone’s heart today in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
I love reading Psalms most of the time. Whether reading a certain verse or just reminiscing over the truths of David. I pray that like David, my hope will be built on nothing less than the Lord Jesus Christ and His perfect righteousness. Thank You that my salvation does not depend on what I have done but on Who Jesus Christ is and what He has done on my account. There is so many that are confused in this world. Confused about what is right and what is wrong. I know that as long as we walk with You Lord and in Your light that the devil has no foot hold. God has given you all authority over the enemy. So, when Satan tries to send people your way, rebuke him, send him packing, and remind him that he must go back where he belongs, under your feet! Tell Satan get though behind me. These are five ways God promises to deal with our enemies. Remember, like any other promise, they require obedience on our part. When your enemy has fallen, do not rejoice, and when he is overthrown, let not your heart leap for joy. Do not be happy when your enemy falls, and do not feel glad when he stumbles. If thine enemy should fall, rejoice not over him, neither be elated at his overthrow. “Talk with your mind before you talk with your tongue. The mind is powerful to heal the body. Heal your relationship and heal others. The body cannot heal the mind it has no get up and go, without the mind. Pray for your enemies that they may be healed and come to know and love Jesus.
It reads in Psalm 7:1-17 “LORD my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me, or they will tear me apart like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me. LORD my God, if I have done this and there is guilt on my hands— if I have repaid my ally with evil or without cause have robbed my foe— then let my enemy pursue and overtake me; let him trample my life to the ground and make me sleep in the dust. Arise, LORD, in your anger; rise up against the rage of my enemies. Awake, my God, decree justice. Let the assembled peoples gather around you, while you sit enthroned over them on high. Let the LORD judge the peoples. Vindicate me, LORD, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High. Bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure, you, the righteous God who probes minds and hearts. My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart. God is a righteous judge, a God who displays his wrath every day. If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow. He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows. Whoever is pregnant with evil conceives trouble and gives birth to disillusionment. Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made. The trouble they cause recoils on them; their violence comes down on their own heads. I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the LORD Most High.”
I like this quote: “You can change your world by changing your words. Remember death and life are in the power of the tongue.” (Joel Osteen)
Who felt persecuted in Acts 26:14-19: (Let’s read it and find out: And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutes thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks {The prick or goad was a pointed stick that was used to urge some stubborn animal to move. The stick was made of wood or metal}. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecute. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:) If we put it all together, we discover that God told Paul that he was only hurting himself in his effort to eliminate Christians. He was unknowingly opposing God. Just saying!

{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You for the example that David set when he was pursued by his enemies, falsely accused, and persecuted for righteousness’ sake. I thank You and praise You that my hope is in You and that You Lord lead my righteousness’. I thank You and praise You for Your promise to free all Your people who are unjustly accused or have been fiercely pursued by the enemy of our soul. Give me a heart that trusts You no matter what difficulties or dangers may cross my path. Let me keep praying, keep being Your light to others and myself. Let my mind and mouth speak truth. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
