Father God, let what I type today touch someone’s heart in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
We were taught growing up to help those less fortunate. I went to the store for the elderly and did housework for them and shovel snow and raked leaves and went to the laundry mat and did their laundry. I would help them if they had been in the hospital, and they came home. I would go over after school and help their nurse and then go to the store for the other lady’s. We were taught to help others Church family was taught to help others. I would visit the nursing homes back east because we knew all the people it was a small town of Haverhill Massachusetts. This is how you keep a church running. Everyone contributing their time talents and treasures to expand and give to a hurting world. It is not the size of the building but the size of the giving that builds the church. One person cannot run a church. Just as it doesn’t take one person to run a home. It takes everyone working together.
{Jesus looked up and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
Luke 21:1-4}
So, Jesus observed a poor widow putting two small coins into the offering box at the temple. At the same time there are many rich people coming to place their gifts in the box as well.
I Love this quote: “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”

“You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.” “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” “A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal.”

This one is so true: “Don’t expect to receive if you’re not willing to give.”
I know me and my husband Walter have been friends together 27 years. Each year we save our change for Christmas in a water jug. We take the time to roll all the coins and take to the Credit Union to get the cash for the change. So, each year we start from scratch and by a month before Christmas we have well over $100.00 or more of change. So, every little bit helps us. It is the same thing with church and has been all my life. We used to fill up dime, quarter and Nickle cards and turn them into church. Give your biggest gift at Christmas to Jesus. This all helps with the church, ministries and missions. My children did the same thing. They would fill up little houses. They would also I have had times in my life when I couldn’t give but the church helped me out with my children. It all works out. Learning about Jesus is not a hard job. It is good to do what is right and be the best you can in all situations. We can all give something.

You know the gospel is for lost people who have very little or no knowledge of Jesus. We are all in need of a savior. Come as you are my pastor used to say at First Baptist Church. Come as you are. Someone new would come through the door, he would be at the pulpit he would stop just to tell that person Come in and sit. You are welcome here. I heard him good being up on the stage on the second floor in the choir. LO! The condition of a person who is lost, won’t know unless someone guides them. Amen! The gospel is from God and God will find you and guide you because you are a child of God, He will use His children to love on you and care for you as a brother or a sister in Christ.
