{Let’s Pray}
Father God let this message today heal someone’s heart or just touch their heart in a way that forgiveness will reveal truth in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
What John means here, is that Jesus did not travel up to Jerusalem with the other pilgrims to the feast, an act which would have been conspicuously public, and would have drawn undue attention to himself. Jesus chose to travel to Jerusalem by himself, privately. Shows also that Jesus spent time with God before the feast. This is something I realize in my own life. Having quiet time with God is so important to me. Gives me time to pray for all those who need healing. When someone comes to mind, I immediately pray for them. Gives me time to journal or to read back on my journal where God has worked in my life, even answered prayers of those I have prayed for. God is good all the time.
John 7:45-52
Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, why have ye not brought him? The officers answered, never man spoke like this man. Then answered them the Pharisees, are ye also deceived? Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him? But this people who knows not the law are cursed. Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) Doth our law judges any man, before it hears him, and know what he does? They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee arises no prophet. And every man went unto his own house.

In John 8:1, the problem revealed in the text is that a woman has been caught in adultery and taken by the leaders to be put before Jesus. The Pharisees say to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. {“in the act” of a capital offense:} Jesus handles both with such wisdom and grace that the story has become a favorite of many. This was the fabulous part. He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone. This happens to this day. Without Jesus though, you go through the worse, guess this is where it says in- John 7:49- people who knows not the law is cursed. Live a nightmare till you realize Jesus has been with you all along. “Go and sin no more! Jesus forgives and is for the sinner to turn right. “Go and sin no more!”
John 8:1:11
Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So, when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again, he stooped down and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You that You are all forgiving and full of wisdom and understanding. I thank You and praise You that Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. I thank You and praise You for the written Word of God which is living and powerful and contains the gracious words of truth and of eternal life. I thank You and praise You that by faith in the death, burial, and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, I have received the forgiveness of sins, life everlasting, and the indwelling Holy Spirit of God to guide me into all truth. There are no words that are sufficient to thank You and praise You for the sacrifice that Christ made for me at Calvary so that by faith in Him, I have been made a child of God. No celebration compares to being a child of God loved unconditionally. I love You, I thank You, I praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
