“Jesus Walks On Water”

{Let’s Pray: Father God, I am believing for the one who reads this, will be encouraged and intrigued of learning more of Jesus as this message touches their heart in Jesus Precious Name Amen.}
John 16:16–24 once again reminds the disciples that Christ must suffer and die for the sins of the world (Mark 8:31: (NLT) Jesus Predicts His Death: It reads: Then Jesus began to tell them that the Son of Man must suffer many terrible things and be rejected by the elders, the leading priests, and the teachers of religious law. He would be killed, but three days later he would rise from the dead.). The days ahead will be especially dark and frightening for those who so closely followed Jesus. Yet the outcome will be powerful and world changing. Jesus explains this using the analogy of childbirth. What was the Point of Walking on the Water? Taken with the feeding of the 5000, Jesus’s “walking on the water” miracle is an allusion to the Exodus. There are a number of elements found in John 6 which may be understood as using Exodus language.

Let’s read: John chapter 6:16:24
And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea, and entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them. And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew. So, when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty “Furlongs -_-“a unit of distance equal to 220 yards (about 201 meters) see Jesus’s walking on the sea and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid. But he saith unto them, it is I; be not afraid. Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went. The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone; (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks 🙂 When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.
{Let’s Pray}
Father God, how awesome it is to know that Jesus walked on top of the water and did not sink. What a powerful faith and miracle. Oh, how awesome and wonderful to know that You are my Provider, Deliver, Sustainer, Helper, Hope, Strength and the Lord overall. This world covers difficulties, dangers, sufferings, diseases all seem to increase with every passing day, I believe that my eyes will be looking away from the circumstances of this life, which can become so overwhelming, by keeping the eyes of my heart fixed on Jesus Who created all things by the word of His mouth, upholds all things by the strength of His infinite power, and holds me fast in the palm of His hands. Let my hands, mind and heart pray to You through all stuff in including the small stuff You care about all people, problems and You totally for fill all Your promises. I love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
