“Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true.”
What does the Bible say about correcting your child?
Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul. Deuteronomy 8:5
Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chastens his son, so the LORD thy God chastens thee. Psalm 103:13
Blessed is the one you discipline, LORD, the one you teach from your law. Disciplining children is needed. Psalm 94:12
Proverbs 22:6 says, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” When your children are young, you have a lot of control over their lives and choices.
What does the Bible say about adults choosing God’s way?
We can choose His way, “the law of the Spirit of life in Christ” (Romans 8:22: “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” ), or we can choose the way of self — which really is the devil’s way or “the law of sin and death.” There are only two ways: God’s or the devil’s.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:30
Lets read Hebrews 12:1-6:
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.
It reads in Proverbs 14:12: Before everyman there lies a wide and pleasant road that leads to death.
{Lets Pray}
Father God, I thank You and praise You for the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior and His wonderful righteousness. I thank You and Praise You that You sent the Lord Jesus Christ for the sinner to show those who was ignorant of their own sin to shape up their own life’s. The only man who ever lived His life in total respect, compassion, complete trust in You and willing obedience, all for Your honor and glory. The Lord Jesus went through so much denial, ignorance of others, abuse, being spit at, carrying His cross to Calvary for the sinner. Jesus was totally innocent and didn’t deserve to die. As I look to Jesus and He rose to save every human being of their sins. I believe that I will not grow weary or lose heart in the difficult circumstances that I am facing, but I believe I will look to Him in utter dependence and willing obedience. Humble myself in the joy that I live, because He lives in my reassurance. that He is coming back or if I should go on home to Him. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
