Well Psalm 129 is about tough faith, trusting God to get you through the hard times, even when the pain is intense and the suffering is long. Psalm 129 divides into two sections. The first section talks about persevering through the pain, and the second section talks about praying through the pain and gaining the victory over those things that stand against you. Life is a struggle. It is a continuing battle, and it takes perseverance to go the distance.
Psalm Chapter 129:1-8
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say: Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me. The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows. The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up: Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom. Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
Father God, I thank You for what I have gone through in my life knowing there are still some good memories left. I thank You and praise You that those who have hurt me in the past, You take care of them and I need not turn back. But move forward with You and Your word. I thank You and praise You that You make miracles out of our mess’s that are scars now. I thank You, Praise You and give You all the glory for those who have been the light of Jesus in my life and have kept guiding me and encouraging me not to give up. Bless them all even those in Heaven right now. I thank You and praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
