“For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.”
1 John 3:11
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
1 John 3:14-17
Blessed are those who act justly, who always do what is right. Remember me, LORD, when you show favor to your people, come to my aid when you save them, that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may share in the joy of your nation and join your inheritance in giving praise.

Father God, thank You for love of Jesus Christ, which has become a source of comfort and hope as well as a reminder of Your never-failing mercy, grace and love. Thank You that although You scattered Your rebellious people, the day is coming when they will repent of their sin, call on the name of the Lord, and be saved as a nation. I believe I will never forget what a faithful God You are to Israel and all Your people, and may I develop a heart of humility, gratefulness and memories for all the goodness and grace that has been extended to me. I pray that my heart would remain tender towards You and be filled with prayers of thanksgiving, worship and praise for Your holy name’s sake – Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, Who is from everlasting even to everlasting. I thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen. Hallelujah!
