“God’s Deliverance Of Israel From Egypt”

Psalm 114 tells the story of the exodus, especially the part where the “sea rolled back to form dry land” so that all God’s people could walk safely through the sea on dry ground. The psalmist expresses the joy of all creation at the salvation of Israel; even the hills and mountains skipped like little lambs.
What is the meaning of Psalm 114?
Psalm 114 reminds us of the great value of prayer. It speaks of an appeal for help addressed to God in a situation of extreme danger. The believer clings to the Lord as his only hope of salvation and expresses his grateful love for the protection he receives. Authentic faith always sees God as love.
Psalm Chapter 114:1-8
When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fled? thou Jordan, that thou was driven back? Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs? Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

Father God, I know You are amazing and You can answer my prayers quick or in Your timing. It just amazes me that You answer others prayers also quick or in Your timing. But I know You did it. Just like when I got frustrated cause I couldn’t put the jump ring in the hole of the cross, and I said God help me. So I got a common pin and it didn’t go through the hole then I realized I had to use the jewelry hole puncher. But it looked like the hole went all the way through. LOL! Thank You always for answering prayers. You are amazing. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
