Psalm 98: The coming reign of the Lord on the earth is here celebrated as an event of great joy. Therefore, three groups are called upon to rejoice: God’s people (verses 1-3), the whole earth (verses 4-6), and all of nature (verses 7-9).Psalm 98 describes God’s redemption of Israel and the rejoicing that will ensue. It also features many expressions and instruments of music and song. According to the Midrash Tanchuma, Psalm 98 is the tenth and final song that the Jewish people will sing after the final redemption.

Psalm Chapter 98:1-9
O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together. Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
Father God, thank You for Your music that can help to overcome the tuff stuff and praise You all the time in this life. Thank You for all that You see and hear before it gets to me. Thank You that You sort everything out and that You lead me down the path You want for me. I know it is all alright when I trust You. Keep reminding me of Your mercies that are always new each day. I thank You, praise You and give You all the glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen!
