Good morning. Wow! We was at the store yesterday waiting in line to self check out. We walk up to the register to see money coming out of the machine. I grabbed it quick and ran to the man and left it and gave it to him. He thanked me. But as I ran to him I heard this woman yelled! What does she think she is doing? What ever else she said! But it didn’t bother me. So I started thinking when I got in the car riding home. Isn’t that just like people. You live in a big house and everyone thinks. Wow they are rich. Not knowing all the debt that comes with it to make you work harder. We live in a society that thinks big. But if you are in a small house. People think this person has it hard. I say the person who is patient in listening to the little stuff and doing the big stuff matter. Some people thou need common sense in their life. Like instead of judging when a grown man accidently throws the ball over the fence and the people call the police to condemn that man and get him for trespassing. Get to know the person. But if a child throws a ball over the fence the people don’t call the police for trespassing they let the child get the ball. We live in a society that is uncertain. Don’t know one day from the other what is going to happen. But those people who are honorable to God, don’t have to worry. They just have to be patient and not care what this world judges. We have this Indian Bean tree that we had cut down. {Genus Catalpa are deciduous trees of spreading habit, with handsome, large leaves and erect panicles of showy, bell-shaped flowers in late summer, followed by persistent, slender bean-like seed capsules Details C. bignonioides is a spreading medium-sized deciduous tree, with pale green, broad-ovate leaves to 25cm in length.} Well it was so old. That within the past 2 years the big branch’s at different times split right in half and ended up in the neighbors yard so we had to saw the pieces to get it off their property. No one called the police. Well a month ago we paid good money to cut down a few huge trees that died from the winter freeze. So when the tree men was cutting down the Indian tree a branch fell in the yard, but the gate came off the hinges. and the lady next door yelled at them cause they went in her yard just to get the gate back on and she screamed at them like she was being harmed in some way. I told them not to worry. I waited till I saw her leave and me and my son put the gate back on it hinges. I just had to be patient. Well anyways. God is good cause the Indian tree is growing back. Lo! I am going to try and make baby’s trees and put them in plant pots. being patient always pays off. Love your neighbor can sometimes be hard. It is not hard to be patient. God grows all good things in His timing.
James 5:7-20
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door. Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availed much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which covers the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
I waited Patiently for God to help me: then He listened and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1
