{My mom always told me, I am who I hang with. Which is a true statement. If you hang with people you think you can fix, one day they will drag you down to their level. Funny how that saying still lingers to this day.} I blamed God for a lot of suffering in my life. I blamed him for others I tried to fix, but they was unfixable. I had to learn the hard way that God never made their choices, I had to stop blaming God and ask him for forgiveness. I should of never even tried to fix them. I should of moved on with what God had for my life. One lady that really was destroying her life. She would see me and hang with me and I knew she was what they say bad news. I didn’t have a car, but I had my own stuff I had to do. So she would walk with me when ever see she saw me. People started thinking I was like her. Sad. But true. One day she was over at her friends house and I was walking by, and heard her screaming. I walked in to find her on this guys floor with blood all over the place. She had stabbed her leg so badly trying to end her life. I wrapped her leg in towels and called a ambulance. I haven’t seen her ever again. God calls us to pray for others , put it in His hands and let it go. I wish I had known this along time ago. Because I used to want to fix everyone I saw and it brought on a lot of problems I could of avoided by praying and leaving it in God’s hands. I have noticed when I leave my prayers in God’s hands, he deals with it. I just prayed that someone had taught me this along time ago. God is probably saying, I did tell you through your mother. I am glad that God sent good mentors in my life.
In Ephesians 5:8:13 it reads:
Though once Your heart was full of darkness, now it is full of light from the Lord, and your behavior should show it! Because of this light within you, you should do only what is good and right and true. Learn as you go along what pleases God. Take no part in worthless pleasures of evil and darkness, but instead, rebuke and expose them. It would be shameful even to mention here those pleasures of darkness which the ungodly do. When you expose them, the light shines in upon their sin and shows it up, and when they see how wrong they really are, some of them may even become children of the light!
Reading in Proverbs 24:25: But blessing shall be showered on those who rebuke sin fearlessly.
