“Being a mother of 7 awesome adult children, I could tell you stories that would have you in stitches or crying.” I wouldn’t change being a mom for anything.
“large ego of overgrown man or woman child”– often these men or woman have mothers who are blowing smoke up their ass telling them how great and special they are. Because they don’t live in ‘reality’, they are very disconnected, irresponsible from who they actually are. Do what they want on another person’s expense to save having to pay their own way in this life. Sad but true.
“Grown up adult” Cleans up after themselves, goes to work, takes care of their individual responsibilities, if they are married! Keep a roof of their own; over their own head. When it comes to making financial decisions paying their own rent or mortgage, electric, water, gas, debts in general; paying into a pension, having written a Will, budgeting every month and having life insurance all appeared; for taken care of adulthood. That is when they can look in the mirror and tell them self how special and grown up they really are. These grown up adults are the ones who complete life and I am very proud of them and not blowing smoke up their ass. Just saying.
